  2. I think you're right about the 12v battery. How often do you charge the high voltage traction battery? Is the 12v battery getting low because you have a dash cam or any other connected accessory? One 12v battery powers the engine and is located under the boot floor of the 530e. The other is an auxiliary battery that powers the electronics and is located on the right side of the boot, beneath the fuse board. If you have adaptive suspension, etc., there might be a third as well. If the high voltage traction battery isn't charged, the two batteries will run low on power, much like a car that only uses its battery for short trips. Being a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, it requires some sort of electrical connection. I would check this first, however a fault code scan is necessary for absolute certainty. An easy way to check if the problem goes away is to charge both 12v batteries. Begin with the Auxiliary and use a good 12v battery charger, such as a Ctek or a Victron blue. Simply put, if your vehicle is still under warranty, you should allow BMW to inspect it.

  4. It seems like there's a stopped relay somewhere. The good news is that the battery's warranty should cover the cost of replacement if this is a major unit in the battery pack. I'll try to find the specific battery warranty details online and provide them to you. When someone else had the same issue a few years ago, I was able to assist them. You can find it here.

  6. Just lately, I started seeing a message that said "Start engine" whenever I opened the door to my three-year-old 530e, which has only 11,000 miles on the odometer. A problem with turning off the vehicle's electronics caused the power consumption to spike while the vehicle was at rest. Get your Service Partner to look into it if the issue persists. Does anyone have any idea what this notice means or a simple way to fix it before I spend a bunch on my "service partner"?
  7. No, that's a simple response. Every vehicle has a built-in tolerance for things like weather (temperature affects tyre pressures), road conditions, and the condition of your tires. "A speedometer must never show less than the actual speed, and must never show more than 110% of actual speed + 6.25mph." This tolerance statement always shocks people.
  8. Also, my MY23 is completely out of whack. Will the odometer mileage and average MPG be affected if the Speedo is off by 7% as well?
  9. Even if I can accomplish that, the auto speed adjustment feature will only alter the speed if the current speed is greater than the current limit.
  10. Someone who makes remaps or something similar would have to be independent as 7% is within commercial and legal tolerance. Who wants to know? Certainly not Kia or the key dealers. Why, I must enquire? For example, if the limit is 70 and you want to set your cruise control speed to 75, set it at 53 and let it misread to 50.
  11. I was wondering if there was a way to calibrate the speedo on a 24 GT Line to make it work with SCC. There is currently a 7% overreading.

  13. Quick update for everyone. The Audi arrived yesterday evening. The transporter driver rang ahead and gave me regular updates throughout the day. I've spent a couple of hours going over the vehicle and so far everything appears exactly as described in the advert. It's booked into my local specialist tomorrow morning for a full inspection just for peace of mind, but first impressions are very positive. Really appreciate all the feedback from everyone here. Reading through your experiences definitely helped while I was waiting for delivery.
  14. I can add another positive experience. Bought a Jaguar F-Pace Portfolio around six months ago and the delivery took ten days. Paperwork was all present and the vehicle matched the photos. No complaints from me.
  15. Reading these replies, it sounds like the vehicle side of the business is becoming quite established. I was expecting loads of complaints if I'm honest!!!
  16. Agreed the 14 day inspection period is probably the most important part
  17. I still think people should remain cautious with any online vehicle purchase, regardless of the company photos can hide a lot, stone chips, alloy damage, interior wear, paint corrections etc...
  18. For what it's worth, my brother bought a Mercedes GLC 220d from them last year. The funny thing is none of us believed it was real at first because the price looked too good. We spent two evenings searching reviews and checking Companies House before he committed. Vehicle arrived nine days later. No horror story, thankfully.
  19. Interesting! I actually phoned them this afternoon abd the representative explained the same thing. He said the segregated account structure was designed to protect both the customer and the company until the inspection period had passed.
  20. When I bought mine they only accepted bank transfer. I asked exactly the same question and apparently they'd experienced issues in the past with payment disputes and fraudulent chargebacks, so they moved away from cards with segregated account that was the explanation I was given anyway.
  21. Does anyone know if they accept card payments? I'd usually prefer a credit card for the extra protection.
  22. Hi, I've noticed Zolee Logistics getting mentioned more often recently. I think people get confused because of the company name, when you hear "Logistics" you automatically assume transport, freight, shipping containers and that sort of thing. Didn't occur to me they'd also be handling repossessed vehicle sales until I stumbled across one of their listings.
  23. Thanks everyone reading these replies has definitely helped calm my nerves a bit. What caught my attention was the payment arrangement, and I asked loads of questions because I was worried about transferring a large amount but they explained that payments go into a separate safeguarded company account rather than directly being released immediately which made me feel a bit more comfortable. They've told me delivery should be somewhere between seven and ten days, so fingers crossed. Cheers!
  24. i nearly bought a BMW 530e through Zolee Logistics back in spring and the only reason I backed out was because I couldn't get comfortable buying without seeing it first. To be fair nobody pressured me into anything, the bloke I spoke with actually encouraged me to take time and think about it. Didn't get any of the usual hard-sell nonsense you sometimes get from car sales places.
  25. That's a fair point @User4. When I spoke with them they explained that most of the stock comes from finance recoveries, banks and insolvency auctions. They're not buying from private sellers in the traditional sense. Some cars may have skipped servicing or cosmetic faults, but that is why I paid for a mechanical examination during the 14-day period
  26. not saying they're dodgy because I genuinely don't know but I always wonder how these cars end up being so much cheaper than dealer prices, aren't repossessed vehicles risky? You don't know how they've been treated.
