  1. My 2023 Sorento 1.6T-GDi Hybrid petrol vehicle achieves an impressive fuel economy of approximately 45-48 MPG, and during longer journeys, it can even reach up to 50 MPG. I would anticipate that a diesel variant would perform even better, assuming it's not constantly caught in stop-and-go traffic, where fuel efficiency can significantly decrease.
  2. Agreed the 14 day inspection period is probably the most important part
  3. In my opinion, the availability of parts is an issue that has been there for some time and is just becoming worse. I recently sold my 2009 CLK and the convertible top sensor was not available.
  4. On the wifi dongle forum, someone suggested using as little as possible. I chose the tiny CarLink, and it's great.
  5. Yeah, the only thing is that I personally just have BimmerCode, so I'll have to search around then. With the new intake's bar and flaps removed, I figured I could get away with it.
  6. Hello everyone seeking guidance from an expert I just replaced the intake manifold in my 2c3200 and am now attempting to repair the swirl flap. I would like not to deal with the issue of recalibrating as I do not own ista. Reading this, I was considering the possibility that I may either 1. fasten my own actuator without resetting it by removing flaps while keeping the bar in place 2. Acquire the bung that I now possess by removing the bar and flaps. Would either of these choices not need an Ista reset? Also, what's your recommendation? Getting good gas mileage isn't essential to me, therefore I've removed the flaps from all of my BMWs without a problem. grateful for any feedback
  7. Fitting them at the primary dealer's expense was ridiculous. With the help of a nice man at an auto shop, I was able to find a replacement and install it in about a minute. The total cost is around £9 per year.
  8. These wheels are indeed the original three-piece AMG wheels. He only keeps them in his garage with his R129 91' SL500; he has no plans to restore them.
  9. These are probably sitting in a friend's garage, awaiting restoration.
  10. Be sure to review your insurance policy, since some may have lost important coverage.
  11. Sure, that's for a diagnostic purpose. Are you looking for a local Mercedes expert?
  12. On average, a dealer will charge around £200 for an hour of diagnostics.
  13. Sharing your whereabouts could be useful. By the way, have you looked up "Mercedes independent" on the internet?
