  1. https://www.bmw.co.uk/en/topics/owners/service-workshop/warranties/bmw-phev-warranty-guidelines.html
  2. It seems like there's a stopped relay somewhere. The good news is that the battery's warranty should cover the cost of replacement if this is a major unit in the battery pack. I'll try to find the specific battery warranty details online and provide them to you. When someone else had the same issue a few years ago, I was able to assist them. You can find it here.
  3. A cable or WiFi connection is necessary for AA to function. Bluetooth on its own is insufficient.
  4. Before you start the engine, check the car's seating position. Does it lie flat on every side? When you press the airmatic button to raise or lower the automobile, you should see the rear end move in response. On each side of the valve covers, look for signs of oil leaking. Resolving this issue often takes a couple of hours of manual labor on an M113 engine.
  5. If a CLS2 hasn't had maintenance in 40,000 miles, I'd give it a low price, same as before. However, Jay at Mercland is selling it, and his automobiles are of the highest quality. No one has ever complained about his autos. Having 120k on these engines is irrelevant if they have been maintained on time, and CLS3 sounds realistic. No more than two services per year, or 11,000 miles, should be recorded in the service book. In my opinion, £8,000 is a fair price for a 2008 CLS500. It would be nice if the driver's seat was cleaned, and not everyone likes wood paneling. The bright inside is an improvement above the standard black. Make sure the electrical components are functioning properly, and inspect the pad thickness and disc brakes for signs of lipping if you decide to examine it. Feel free to negotiate any amount of wear. Those round quad pipes are an aftermarket exhaust system accessory as well. I also wouldn't disregard CLS1. I am not really concerned about heated seats. Never did my E55 heated seats function. I wasn't missing them. On this one, the price and mileage are more reasonable.
  6. It sounded like the hose was about to overheat at the same time as the noise, but it seems like it just went up and over the strut and then vanished.
  7. Can anybody identify this item that sits directly in front of the SBC pump? It appears to be an electric motor based on the noise it makes, and it has a hose coming out of its base. It stands directly before the SBC pump. I assume it's an electric motor based on the noise it makes; it has a hose that comes out of the bottom.
  8. The new filter is hideous! Our Sportage had an identical original, but I got a cheap Bosch 1987435160 on eBay to replace it because the part numbers and manufacturers are same.
  9. Saluti e benvenuti. My car actually made a difference because it had clear interiors. So, the other extremity of the country! My mom's family is from Milan....
  10. Does it have any utility in a TTY case? The material of the bolt might change as a result.
  11. The purchase of the vehicle has been finalised, and I intend to pick it up this coming weekend. I contacted Merc, and they informed me that the gearbox service is valid for 77,500 miles and does not have a certain duration. It seems like everything else is being taken care of. There's no need to be concerned because it comes with a year's guarantee. I recently drove a vehicle with significantly fewer mileage and the transmission felt the same.
  12. It has 69,000 miles and won't require a gearbox service for another 8,000 according to Mercedes, but it doesn't feel quick enough to have been remapped. Is jerky the correct term? While the comfort mode seamlessly transitioned between gears, the sport+ mode made shifting gears with a floored throttle much more noticeable than in comfort, where the shifts were hardly perceptible. Yes, even in sport+ mode, the other two cars were very comparable. So long as it comes with a year of guarantee, I might as well have it.
