  1. What are the recommendations of MB? Does the white cog function as the primary driving mechanism? What specific aspect caused the prior one to be unsuccessful?
  2. Have you taken into account the possibility of reinstalling the defective components? If you have not inadvertently caused a malfunction or electrical overload during the installation process, uninstalling the recently installed components may potentially remedy the problem.
  3. I was confident in my ability to locate it, but I believe it would be more convenient for individuals to provide a hyperlink when mentioning anything, rather than requiring everyone to search for it.
  4. Is there a genuine link available for that?
  5. If that is really the situation, then 'The Juice isn't worth the squeeze' ...as the saying goes. Additional weight that is not supported by the suspension system, together with modified brackets and maybe new callipers, resulting in no benefit or advantage.
  6. I am unable to comprehend the measurements you have provided. Is the measurement 10mm followed by 22mm? What is the subject of your reference? The modification you suggest is superfluous when considering brake performance and/or pad wear. However, if your intention is just for aesthetic purposes, then it is acceptable.
  7. Cars equipped with air suspension include a level sensor on both sides. Steel sprung automobiles has just a single spring. It is conceivable to rotate the arm, which might explain why the headlamps are positioned higher. Alternatively, the sensor may have ceased functioning due to external interference. The brackets often experience corrosion, which causes them to become immovable. Applying a penetrating fluid and carefully moving in a back and forth motion will be beneficial. I have previously used a little amount of heat to extract them, but exercise very caution since you are in close proximity to the gasoline tank and other combustible materials. You have removed the nut. The remaining component is just a locating pin.
  8. Based on the symptoms described, it seems that there may be an issue with the ignition system. I would recommend inquiring about the replacement history of the glowplugs. If they have not been changed, it would be advisable to have them replaced anyway. Yes, it is possible for you to replace them yourself. Make sure to verify whether you need to remove any lining. At this stage of life, every plastic object you come into contact with is highly prone to cracking. 4. I lack a clc, hence I am unable to provide commentary. 5. Inspect the steering pump; it is quite probable that it need replacement. 6. I am unable to provide a remark, but I suggest using Google to get the information you are looking for. 🙂
  9. I used MB, since there are several distinct variations that I found uninterested in exploring aftermarket options.
  10. Does the glove box have a distinct socket, often of the round 3.5mm variety? Apple products may be somewhat particular when it comes to establishing connections with Bluetooth devices.
  11. Has this been the first error they have committed with any of your automobiles? If that is the case, disregard it.
  12. Therefore, the dealer that improperly installed the spring resolved the problem free of charge, which is the minimum they should do. Additionally, they did not charge for the MOT. You have a strong case to demand a return due to their admission of a significant mistake, as supported by the MOT failure. Alternatively, you might request a credit note for any future services you may want from them.
  13. Great work, that's a nice automobile. Is it you who performs the job, or is it a garage that you hire? Have an MB expert have a look at it for an hour or two and give you their advice on what to do if it breaks down soon. In light of the questions it raises, you should probably acquire a few extra components just in case they ever decide to cease producing them.
  14. There should be a diffuser trim present, with faux exhaust chrome points on both sides.
  15. I hope he ultimately acquires the non-stressed and over-stressed resources, while the remaining two resources are under stress. However, there is no need to be concerned. The weather is pleasant otherwise.
  16. Although I discovered the instructions on how to address the issue on Youtube, it resurfaced after a few weeks. I am astonished that a vehicle entering limp mode without the possibility to switch to Manual or Sport mode would not generate any problem on Star diagnostic system. (However, I must acknowledge that I am completely unaware of the limitations of Star diagnostic equipment)
  17. After consulting a local Mercedes professional who used the Star diagnostic system, it was determined that no problems were detected. Furthermore, during a subsequent test drive, the issue could not be reproduced.
  18. Although there are no fault codes shown on the dashboard, I connected my iCarsoft MB V2 diagnostic tool, but it too did not detect any faults. It is likely that Star has to be at a reputable independent film.

  20. The vehicle in question is a 2011 W212 E350cdi. While taking a walk in Arundel, she abruptly lost interest in altering her plans until she reached the door of 3K. She attempted to transfer to S and then M, but unfortunately, it did not work. I was hesitant to risk taking her for a longer run. Upon reviewing the data, it seems that there was an ATF change at 60,000 miles in 2021 (now at 76,000 miles). I have come across the term 'gearbox service' but I am uncertain about its specific functions. Is there anybody else present?
  21. I cannot provide a recommendation for anybody. To put it simply, I am located slightly southwest of Bristol. GAD, which is the desired destination, is around 3.5 hours away with favourable conditions. It is a location that I am willing to allocate a whole day to visit, as it ensures the task will be executed with utmost precision.
  22. I have successfully gained access to all features and functions of my wife's ML320CDI. The fuel efficiency improved from 29 miles per gallon (mpg) to 36 mpg during a trip. The fuel efficiency has improved from 21 miles per gallon to 27 miles per gallon in urban areas, and there has been an additional increase of 40 brake horsepower (BHP) along with a more favourable torque curve. The lads at GAD will provide you with precisely what you need, since they refrain from installing generic files as most "tuners" like to do.
  23. It is well worth it, particularly if you let GAD tuning to handle it. No further maintenance is necessary.
