  1. In addition to the 20-amp rating of my fuse, it is confirmed that the fuse is in proper working condition.
  2. Greetings everyone, I will review the matter tomorrow.
  3. I possess knowledge on the matter at hand. In 2008, I had a same issue with my 2001 W220 S500L vehicle. The conductor plate was ultimately replaced with a reconditioned item; nevertheless, it cannot be definitively said that this course of action would resolve the issue at hand. The garage I used in the past was situated behind the Esso garage on Garratt Lane, next to the Wimbledon Dogs stadium. The concept of "long gone" refers to a situation or phenomenon that has ceased to exist or is no longer relevant. If it is of any assistance, this issue does not need advanced scientific knowledge in the field of rocketry. An individual with knowledge and expertise about the kit should promptly identify and rectify the issue. Two independent establishments that I would recommend are Alexanders in Twickenham. The provided contact information is 020 8898 5656. Engage in conversation with Ben. This year, the establishment has had a change in ownership, currently being managed by Nigel, a very knowledgeable individual specializing in Mercedes vehicles. Nigel has previously worked at MB Weybridge, further enhancing his expertise in this domain. It is worth noting that the establishment is equipped with all the necessary tools and equipment to effectively carry out their services. The service provider exhibits a pragmatic approach, demonstrating helpfulness and sensibility in their telephone interactions, as well as displaying reasonable pricing strategies. The PCS located at Horndean is very commendable; nonetheless, it is situated around 50 miles distant along the A3 route. It is suggested, but, I am skeptical that you are inclined to do a one-hour journey. Please contact Natasha and Ollie using the following telephone number: 023 9257 0123. Once again, the service provider exhibits a realistic approach, offering assistance over the phone and demonstrating appropriate pricing strategies. It is not recommended to engage with Bradshaw Webb. The organization is inundated with projects and assignments that are mostly associated with corporate entities and affluent individuals who are either the primary or secondary owners. Individuals that are not suitable for the use of outdated equipment.
  4. In January, I encountered a novel collet type when I found myself in the position of having to replace my left rear Gen3. This particular tire had suffered substantial damage on an offroad excursion, perhaps in the segment that traversed the swamp. The bag ultimately became unusable on my journey to the southern region. The method for removing the airline proved elusive, necessitating the intervention of a technician who resorted to severing the airline. Fortuitously, there happened to be sufficient surplus length in the line, enabling its retrieval. I purchased a set of pliers often referred to as "duckbill" pliers from the online retailer Amazon, with the intention of using them to securely grasp a nut and gradually rotate it in order to disengage the airline. I have not yet attempted to do so. The challenge of fitting the top piece of the rear air springs through the aperture has been a matter of concern. After aligning the components, I proceed to partially insert the automobile, then lowering it onto the assembly, which often facilitates its complete insertion. However, the positioning of the airline's intake is just marginally higher than the metal surface. A few months ago, I made the decision to purchase an 08 LR3 as a replacement for my P38. Consequently, I am now transitioning towards engaging with new endeavors and facing fresh obstacles. With that being said, I have just concluded a 42-day expedition through the Yukon, Alaska, and the Northwest Territories, which included Tuktoyaktuk, without encountering any significant obstacles. The distance covered was 10,176 kilometers or about 6,323 miles, with the unfortunate occurrence of a damaged windshield.
  5. The timeless Shadow themes always get me. These automobiles are to die for. Rollsroycerescue.
  6. I'm a huge fan of yours but I've been unable to fix my broken brake booster because I can't figure out how to disconnect the intake side fitting.
  7. My previous mechanic broke the brake booster fitting that was attached to the manifold, and the vacuum line clip going in on the back of my manifold, just under the PCV valve, is snapped. Since the fitting needs to be removed to paint, I'm hoping you can help me figure out how to remove and replace it. I called Mercedes and they said I had to buy the whole manifold instead of just the part I needed. I have a spare entire manifold with the fittings in fine condition, but I'm afraid to remove them since I can't see a clear method to do so. Mate, if you can assist, I'd be pleased to pay you some money because I value and appreciate generosity. The Aussies...
  8. Gafferjim is a guy on PH who detailed the process of adding incident-specific messages and how the system works (or doesn't). This seems to have quite a bit, however it is somewhat lengthy: Here's the link: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic... mid=259361 I suppose they have some utility now and then for things like animals, people, or rubbish on the road, but they have a lot of untapped potential. The 'stay left' information is useful but underutilized in the effort to raise driving standards. Rather of relying on a narrow selection of committee-approved statements, adding more freeform content would be a good first step.
  9. The recommended tire pressure for 18s should be maintained during the ride. In general, I simply keep everything at 35 PSI across the board; you won't be too far off at that pressure.
  10. There is no doubt that even the most little of touches may set off this reaction. As an example, the father-in-law's garage has an empty plastic bottle that is hung from a length of thread; when the bottle comes into contact with the windshield, it is time to pull over ;). When my wife came to visit us last month, it was sufficient to trigger the same warning on the Mercedes-Benz Me app for our vehicle (I wonder whether it also makes use of the camera in addition to parking sensors, radar, and so on).
  11. K3 DWO Posted for the benefit of anybody else who may glance at it and Google it in order to investigate it.
  12. Sync makes sure that the temperature in all three climate zones is the same. If you change the driver's side, the passenger side will also change to match.
  13. The R-Line's steering wheel was a factor in my decision to go with Elegance. Much more content with physical keys. I've set the temperature to my liking, activated Auto, Sync, and A/C, and haven't touched it since.
  14. My Jag XF was giving me trouble for weeks since it kept needing a service because it had oil contamination and was doing re-gens. No error messages. The problem was an EGR valve spindle that had broken. The motor provided the appropriate feedback as it turned, but the valve remained open.
  15. We're going to go get a smoke machine (we have an air connection set up). We have one in the office, but nobody can seem to borrow any equipment recently. In case other people are experiencing the same issues, I will continue to update the article. Thanks.
  16. My son just purchased a 2007 Mini One 1.4. It has around 72000 miles. It displayed the P0420 code and the engine light a few weeks ago. The exhaust smells like the engine is running rich. The cam chain is silent (but might be stretched), and the vehicle failed its emissions test a few years ago. I'm not sure how it was fixed. We replaced the plugs yesterday (as part of a service) and observed the revs dropping periodically at idling. We observed the Lambda output (not sure whether this is before or after cat-assume post) and it plummeted in tandem with the rpm, resulting in the gasoline smell coming from the exhaust. It also said misfire cylinder 2, so we switched the coil packs for 2 and 3, and it now shows misfire cylinder 1. We've been watching the voltages at the pre and post cat oxygen sensors, but we're not sure what to anticipate. It was roughly 1.45v before and 0.09v post at idle (fluctuating).
  17. This has to be qualified with "YMMV" since you should actually refer to the instructions for destroying camcorders. I agree with your reasoning. My camcorder accepts a 5mm audio in/mic input while still recording video.
  18. You're on if the AV in socket matches the one on the cam. If not, you will need to combine different audio and video sources. ADVICE: Purchase wire protectors.
  19. Although they are not readily accessible and are notoriously difficult to install, it is highly recommended that you get polyurethane bushes rather than these, despite the fact that they are almost identical in appearance. There is a wide selection available on eBay.
  20. This is a really intriguing endeavour. The 55, I'm assuming, has a standard intake system? How much energy should it generate?
  21. Never combine dot 5 (silicone) with anything, especially dot 5.1. Glycol fluid incompatible. Silicone repels water. Glycol-based fluids absorb 10% water.
  22. I can understand what you mean, CyberNinja, however some people merely read the article instead of looking left, which also saves time and could enlist the assistance of a local. Perhaps I'm being too particular, but a little detail can enhance the impact of a request.
