  1. I apologise, that is really F30. Those are definitely my wheels. Not my literal wheels, but you get the intended meaning. Based on your post, it seems that you have also chosen the appropriate tyres. Thank you very much. Therefore, my only remaining question is if it is significant if the speed rating differs. For my current tyres with a load index of 91, may I replace them with 225/45 R18 Y95 tyres instead of 225/45 R18 Y91 tyres? Is there a discernible impact?
  2. Thank you for responding. Paulinelinker, it is reassuring to learn that a staggered configuration is considered common. The vehicle in question is a BMW 3 Series, namely the 2.0 320d MSport Auto Euro 6 (s/s) 4-door model from the 66 Plate. Is that assistance satisfactory?
  3. Greetings, everyone. I have had my BMW for a duration of 4 years, during which I consistently choose for the direct replacement of the tyres. Can someone provide guidance on whether the tyres are appropriate and, if so, explain the reason for the discrepancy between the rear and front tyres? The tyres are Bridgestone Potenza Run Flats with a size of 225/45 R18 and a load index of 91. The rear tyres are Bridgestone Potenza Run Flats with a size of 255/40 R18 and a load index of 95. I appreciate your assistance beforehand.
  4. ABS rings for the E90 model. Located at the back of the shaft/joint. Place the front of the hub onto the bearing.
  5. How did you inspect the reluctor ring? The issue is located in the hub and the solution is to replace the hub with a new one. A task that is relatively simple to do.
  6. While I was self-assured in my capacity to find it, I opine that it would be more expedient for persons to provide a hyperlink when referencing anything, rather than necessitating everyone to do a search for it.
  7. The model is a C203. The drain holes are designed to allow water to flow out, thus it is expected for water to drip from them. The tailgates have a tendency to allow water to enter. Typically, the source of the issue is the 3rd brake light.
  8. 3. Install new struts. The impact of the tailboard falling down will result in a significant bruise on your skull. They are very inexpensive to do. 4. Require a photograph. 5. If the weight is very high, it may be due to a seized steering joint.
  9. 1. It seems that you have a control unit that is shutting down. There will be no involvement with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). 2. Replace each glow plug individually. It is advisable to do so since leaving them in for too long might cause them to seize.
  10. Impressive, sibling. I really hope that you get the most favourable result from this situation.
  11. I have successfully resolved the issue. The source of the leak was identified as the high pressure fuel line labelled as number 16 in the attached picture, highlighted in yellow. This issue occurred due to repeated installation and removal of the fuel line, which is known to cause problems. The flange of the fuel line becomes flattened over time, resulting in an inadequate connection. Consequently, a replacement pipe had to be ordered. Please note that only the primary dealer can provide it, at a minimum cost of £33 in the UK. The issue with gasoline consumption has been resolved and is now back to its usual level. Thank you to everyone for your contributions. Hopefully, this will assist anybody facing a similar issue. Secure
  12. I have identified the source of the leak. The specific region shown in the image will not be dismantled today due to it being Sunday, and the unavailability of necessary components. Additionally, I am required to attend work tomorrow. I have reason to believe that there may be a leak either from the gasoline return line or the pressure regulating valve. I have also attached a diagnostic kit and all fuel pressure readings seem to be within acceptable limits. The fuel pressure reaches the desired pressure level. I am optimistic that it will be the gasoline line for the return journey. I will inform all of you promptly after I have resolved the matter. Thank you.
  13. Indeed, that is very beneficial. I will start an investigation and provide you with updates. I am optimistic about locating a leak.
  14. Indeed, I have inspected the engine compartment with the hood off. My vision was completely impaired. Are there any concealed gasoline pipelines located at the rear of the engine? Because I have a hunch that it is located someplace in the rear of the engine, but I am hesitant to remove the manifold without knowing the specific location and purpose of what I am searching for. An illustration depicting the arrangement of gasoline pipelines in the engine compartment would be beneficial. Thank you.
  15. Greetings, I am now facing a severe fuel leakage problem with my e87 120d m47d20. Initially, the issue was little, so I neglected it. However, it has now escalated to a significant extent. Could you maybe provide guidance on where to begin investigating the source of this leak? Based on the significant quantity of leakage, I presume that the issue is related to a hose. I have included a video clip showing the leakage from underneath the vehicle.
  16. Are diesel cars a good choice to buy in these days?
  17. The rings are made of coated plastic metal nitride. If they were used in a 2-stroke engine, they would be considered the best option. I have been changing these rings for a minimum of 10 years, and they always result in a decrease in oil use, often eliminating the need for oil altogether.
  18. There is just one correct method to do them thoroughly, which involves completely removing all impurities and completing the task in a single attempt.
  19. If the roof mechanism on my friend's CLK cabriolet is comparable to the one on my R129 SL, then there is likely a relay located close to the pump in the trunk, which is known to be a common cause of issues. Following that, you may examine microswitches (with available diagnostic methods), which may get filthy from lack of usage if the roof has not been used for an extended period of time. Occasionally, if the issue is just a result of the roof not being used for a while, manually unclipping and moving it back and forth will resolve the problem. However, it is necessary to have the emergency release tool and follow the instructions in the owner's handbook to manually raise and lower the roof.

  21. I too own a 2014 vehicle and I am now considering upgrading the head unit. Which conversion kit and Alpine model did you utilise?
  22. The car is equipped with current technology, eliminating physical buttons and relying only on electronic controls. It has an MBUX display, as seen in the video.
