The EGR issue with the 2009 109 CDI Vito
Matt865 replied to Howard_silver's topic in General Discussions
It can be the ECU connection(s). A live function test might reveal its operational status. Indeed, Star is capable of doing that. If not, some diagnostic tools may detect an open cct problem. -
Has anyone dealt or used Zolee Logistics for a repo purchase?

For what it's worth, my brother bought a Mercedes GLC 220d from them last year. The funny thing is none of us believed it was real at first because the price looked too good. We spent two evenings searching reviews and checking Companies House before he committed. Vehicle arrived nine days later. No horror story, thankfully. -
Mine was functioning when I parked the car, but it has since stopped responding, so I'm hoping it's not the vp44. When I think back on this difficulty from many years ago, I recall that we had to tow the automobile in order to start it, but I believe that was due to the fact that we didn't have alternative methods. For some reason, the only thing that comes to mind is to give it a quick spray of brake cleaner or easy star for a couple of seconds.

The phrase "left bank, drivers side" provides a hint that it is describing a vehicle with the left-hand drive. Regardless of the driver's seat, the cylinder numbers remains same

For the high pressure needed by the SBC, isn't it the pressure reservoir or accumulator?

Surely that plays a pivotal role in the engine's performance? -
My car doesn't seem to have turbo, and I received a fault on the diagnostic, so I wanted to get everyone's opinions. I have a 28EC00 code for the pressure sensor, which means the sensor is missing from the metal pipe. The tuner installed the bolt, but I didn't pay attention to it.By the way, I removed the dpf, EGR, swirl flaps, and stage 1 from my car as well. However, the only part that still gave me trouble was the pressure sensor. I'd be grateful for any advice you could provide me.

What kind of protection does the addition of pig tails provide against oil seepage up the wiring looms?

The W213 E220d's Jerky Gearbox in Sport Mode

Sport+ makes them slightly more aggressive. In my opinion, the most useless setting for regular on-road driving a 2.0 diesel. Due to its exorbitant price, no one ever uses it. -
Kia automotive dealership

I acquired my Kia Sportage GT-Line S HEV two weeks ago. Upon collecting the vehicle, the sales representative was unaware of the procedure to erase the previous owner from the automobile or the Kia app. Instructed to reach out to Kia UK. I have accomplished that.I attempted to disconnect driver 1 from the display, resulting in the car becoming inoperative (all systems off). I am now apprehensive that if I attempt to remove it from the vehicle and Kia Connect, the car would cease to function. I will contact the Kia dealership to request resolution of the issue. I am currently unable to establish a car account. Any guidance is appreciated, please.

For my S212, I opted for a screen from Icebox Auto. Though it took me three hours to install, I am satisfied with how it communicates with the rest of the car's features, especially the parking sensors. I now have the option to use either the car's original NTG4.0 system maps, Waze installed independently on the new screen, or Google Maps when I connect it to my phone using Android Auto for sat nav. A replacement screen measuring 10.25" mounted on a custom frame was installed in lieu of the original, and it blends in seamlessly. I've got FM radio and CD on the old menu, DAB and music via SD and USB sticks on the new screen menu, and Spotify and Internet Radio through Android Auto. It's easy to go back to the traditional functionality. It cost around ÂŁ500, which is more than the Temu and AliBaba deals but far less than the most expensive alternatives.

Press down on the brake pedal just enough, like you would at the start of applying the brakes, and hold yourself in place by pressing a stick into the seat or the wheel. The reservoir will no longer drain if that is done. Not in time for this task, but that's the way it's done in the future.

Your responses are greatly appreciated. I will investigate, but I haven't seen any differences at 75 mph. Going from sixth to seventh gear at forty miles per hour in comfort mode is par for the course. Have learned that the vehicle has received three upgrades over airwaves, which are as follows: November 26th, 2018: Communication module optimisation Enhanced Mercedes-Me module 9.11.23 Update for the Mercedes-Me module 3.6.21 Missing from all previous updates

Hello there, I have been experiencing issues with the automatic gearbox in my C class, which has logged 38,500 kilometres. Unless you utilise the paddles on the steering wheel, the automatic transmission will not change up from sixth gear to seventh gear and beyond. As expected, the gearbox shifts down, and up and down movement of the paddle shifters produces the desired effect. After driving on the self-learning cycle, the issue of not being able to shift into seventh speed at around 40mph reappears, even after resetting the automatic gearbox. I was informed by a Mercedes specialist that this model does not require a fluid replacement until 75,000 miles, however the automatic gearbox has not been serviced or changed since it was new. I had similar issue last year, but it went away in the late summer after a particularly warm spell. Now it's back. A scanner from the local garage, an Autel Maxisys 908s, detected four suspicious wheel speed signalsâone for each wheel. Based on my little exploration of the web, I have discovered multiple instances of W205 auto gearboxes failing to engage in 2019 models. Does anybody have any ideas as to whether the issue is with the sensors or the software, and how much it will probably cost to fix it? Would appreciate any suggestions for an independent MB specialist (within a reasonable distance from Northwich, Cheshire) with an appropriate Star system who can diagnose the problem and fix it the first time around; I'm thinking of taking my car in for diagnostics. Even when the engine temperature is normal, the electric cooling fan continues to run after shutting off the engine, which is another intermittent defect. This seems to begin occurring after driving through numerous puddles. It seems to be a winter issue; I experienced the same thing last year, but it went away in the summer. Maybe Mercedees are starting to hate our rainy season. Though my two issues pale in comparison to the ones that Mr. Starmer is presently facing, I would really appreciate any feedback you could provide.

Appalling sound coming from the back of the vehicle

Perhaps the worst design everâthe handbrake shoesâare worth taking a peek at. -
I wouldn't use anything less than a real kit or one from a respectable company considering the amount of work that would be required and the potential outcomes if they weren't any good.

It is important to note that low oil pressure does not inherently indicate low oil level. Low oil level is only significant if it results in low oil pressure; however, low oil pressure may arise from various other underlying issues. Therefore, monitoring oil pressure is more crucial than tracking oil level.
-
The driver need not monitor the oil level while operating the vehicle; this was typically assessed using a dipstick on a weekly basis or before to an extensive trip. The sole scenario in which the oil level may precipitously and unexpectedly decrease to near-empty is if the oil sump sustains a sudden fracture or the drain plug detaches; hence, the oil pressure warning light will undoubtedly activate promptly. Traditionally, most vehicles were equipped solely with an oil pressure switch rather than a low oil level sensor, which could have been easily installed, because a low oil level does not provide an immediate threat as long as the oil pressure remains enough. An insufficient oil level may result in long-term damage; however, this is sufficiently mitigated by weekly dipstick inspections. The emergence of automotive electronics has resulted in sensors for numerous functions; however, this does not imply that all monitored parameters are essential. A low oil level may trigger an amber or white alertâindicating a warning or informational statusâsignifying 'continue driving and rectify at your earliest convenience,' however low oil pressure will consistently activate a red alert, indicating 'cease operation, turn off the engine.'
