Steering wheel experiencing vibrations at speeds over 55mph.
KissezFun replied to KissezFun's topic in General Discussions
Although I had all four wheels aligned last year, they neglected to do the wheel alignment this time. -
Greetings, everyone. After many months of mostly problem-free driving, I am experiencing an issue that I am unable to identify. After my aftermarket 19" wheels developed cracks, I decided to replace them with genuine Mercedes 18" wheels. However, I am now experiencing a noticeable vibration in the steering wheel while driving at speeds over 55mph. The wheels underwent refurbishment and were fitted with new tires without any reported problems. Subsequently, I had all four wheels inspected once more at a separate alloy wheel establishment. Has anybody experienced anything similar to this previously? I am contemplating what to investigate next. Thank you in advance, hoping for the best outcome.

As an IT professional employed by one of the largest insurance companies in Australia, I understand the reasons for the significant increase in insurance prices. All you need to recall is seeing the news, recollect witnessing the sight of several vehicles drifting down the street, and the sight of rows of charred residences. Due to the escalating costs of car repairs and medical treatments, insurance firms must modify their rates to adequately account for these expenditures. Moreover, variables such as inflation, the expenses associated with vehicle maintenance, and the frequency of natural catastrophes may also contribute to the escalation of auto insurance costs. In the end, insurance firms must guarantee they possess sufficient cash to meet possible claims, resulting in elevated premiums for policyholders. The cost of these automobiles is around $80,000, and you may anticipate a yearly payment of $1200 (AU). You will value it when, and if, an incident occurs.

The headlights are not turning off by themselves.

That is how it was originally configured, and they don't disable it. -

Even though I made sure there was no delay, the xenon lights still won't go off. -

I was hoping there was a method to disable the lights when the vehicle is turned off, but they simply remained on instead. -

Is there a way to put in an automatic setting that turns off the electricity to the lights when the vehicle is turned off? The car doesn't have one. -
Greetings, I recently purchased a 2014 Range Rover Evoque. As a resident of Iceland, I am aware that it is mandatory to have the headlights turned on at all times. However, whenever I turn off the car, the headlights remain turned on. Is there a way to have them turn off automatically when the engine is turned off? Thanks! I know it's simply twisting a knob, but there are times when I forget, like when it's daytime and the light isn't visible on the road. I'd prefer not chance receiving a fine, so I'd appreciate any assistance!

Are you referring to a film on headunits?

Reconsideration; no cost provided you cover the shipping fees. -

Since I had a simple Audio 20 system with only a radio and single CD player, and after reading Wighty's discussion, I decided that it would be more logical to upgrade to a newer and more advanced head unit. However, I didn't want it to be too contemporary and stand out in a way that doesn't go with the rest of the car. -

126 SEC - Inquiry about rust removal and repainting
KissezFun replied to Motoman's topic in General Discussions
If the SEC paint is authentic, it will be solvent-based, while modern paint is water-based. Unless the rust is quite noticeable and widespread, it may be advisable to tolerate it and do temporary, improvised repairs to prevent further deterioration. Permanently eliminating wheel arch rust, particularly in the rear wheel arches which have double skin, is an uncommon occurrence. It is important to remove any secondary causes that may cause the rust to resurface before spending a significant amount of money. Paint supply stores may provide a similar shade in aerosol cans for do-it-yourself wheel arch repairs using colour match swatches. It is important to inspect and compare the colours in adequate outside lighting. The first coating would have been GLASURIT. -
Possible causes for the issue might include a malfunctioning master cylinder, situated behind the clutch pedal, or a faulty spring damper connected to the clutch pedal. If you are in need of a damper for your clutch pedal, I have one available for sale. The damper is brand new and comes connected to the pedal.

Avoid Mars Red as well. However, a contemporary GLA should not be susceptible to any issues related to red paint. It seems that the only available colour in red is Patagonia Red, which costs £825 as an additional option when purchasing a new car, as stated by Car Wow.

Irrespective of the information shown, you have driven almost 12,000 km in over 12 months. Therefore, I strongly recommend that you promptly arrange for an oil and filter replacement.

The sale is now taking place at the AA.

While doing research on breakdown covers, I came across the following options: Start Rescue is a recommended option with a 3-star rating. Eversure Gold cover was provided by Driver Guardian. -

A neighbour is experiencing a malfunction with his MG, which is covered by a warranty. Due to the 35-mile distance to the MG repair facility, he requested the local dealer from where he purchased the vehicle to facilitate its transportation to the centre. The driver departed to consult with the dealer before a local breakdown business came to retrieve the vehicle. Subsequently, an AA vehicle materialised to retrieve it. I am inquiring if the AA engages in outsourcing to local firms in areas that are not typically within their purview. -

The cover is good; however, I have yet to peruse the terms and conditions. The quoted amount was £36.40. -

As a resident of North East Scotland, I have seldom seen an AA van, save in situations when we need their assistance due to a malfunctioning courtesy vehicle. I believe I would benefit more from a firm that utilises nearby garages for maintenance and repair services. I have been employed with AutoAid for many years, however I have not renewed my contract due to the drastic increase in their prices. I have come across recommendations for Eversure Gold and Driver Guardian elsewhere, but I have not yet conducted an investigation into them. It is unlikely that I will do so until next year, given I just purchased a vehicle that included a 12-month RAC insurance policy. -
If the VIN ranges on Mazda UK's website are accurate, I am certain that I am using Telenav. Upon first observation, the interface and displays of the MacBook closely resemble those seen on the Naviextras website. I am inquiring as to whether the aforementioned software is compatible with both legacy and contemporary navigation systems. If it were to do so, it would be logical. Users do not need several installers for various navigation systems on the same automobile type. That is a formula for perplexity, particularly if managed inadequately. There will always be a need for installers for distinct Operating Systems, such as Mac or Windows. Nevertheless, it is advisable to refrain from using several installers for the same operating system family.

Both of my card readers are inexpensive USB devices, one being brand new and the other being one that I believed to have misplaced when I bought the replacement. Both provide identical outcomes. I will experiment with the W10 laptop, and my daughter also has a MacBook, which might serve as an alternative choice.

Hello everyone. Apologies if this has already been addressed. I conducted a search but could not find any relevant information. Last year, I successfully upgraded the SD card on my Windows 10 PC. This year, I acquired a Windows 11 personal computer. Upon inserting the SD card into the reader, I get the following message: Yesterday, the Toolbox software was just acquired from Mazda. I attempted to activate the re-recognize button, but received a same warning. A spare SD card reader was attempted, with same results. It is evident that the operating system is recognising the card and presenting it as a removable disc, which seems to be logical. According to Mazda's FAQ section of the toolbox website, there have been cases when the error message was caused by the removeable disc being seen as a local disc. However, this is not applicable in this situation. I am unable to recall the visual representation of the SD card on my Windows 10 machine. When the card is reinserted into the vehicle, the navigation system functions properly. Have any individuals lately used Windows 11 for the purpose of updating the SD card? I am now using Windows 11 Pro, namely version 23H2, build 22631.3085. I own a Windows 10 laptop and want to attempt it at a later time. However, it is now unavailable. Nevertheless, I am curious whether I am overlooking any apparent oversight. Do you have any suggestions?
