Is it advisable to remap my Mercedes E-Class E280 W211?
Blu_Ray_UK2007 replied to keithmerc220's topic in General Discussions
Although it may seem trivial, what is your intended goal? Do you need more "umph" due to necessity, or is it more of a desire for an extra boost? What are the numbers for E320 and E350? Or improved fuel efficiency (improbable). Which stage is it: Stage 1 or Stage 2? I understand that it may seem overly concerned with little details, but it is pertinent to the matter at hand. -
Impressive. Thank you. I fail to get the purpose of erecting it if I am just going to dismantle it again upon my next use of the vehicle. The one rationale I can see for doing so would be to prevent excessive accumulation of dust inside the vehicle, particularly during prolonged periods of non-usage.

I agree that the soil must be same, yet, the black vehicle seemed to maintain a cleaner appearance for a longer duration. During my daily commute, a black automobile would remain clean for a whole week without requiring any cleaning. The white automobile seemed quite dirty after only one day. The dust I referred to was atypical in nature. One would have assumed that this substance had been used as a protective layer, making it more difficult to remove than typical dust. The sight brought back memories of the time when the nearby power plant would clean out their tanks, resulting in the accumulation of black, sooty residue on the windows of houses.

How to fix a chipped paint on a calliper?

If it is causing you discomfort, then take action and do the task. Using touch-up paint will suffice. -

I had made a reservation for the automobile with the dealership from where I purchased it. Resolution: The problem of noise emanating from the car's interior was identified. In order to fill the automobile, they must remove the rear panel. The difficulty arises from the usage of PTFE spray, since the material cannot be stripped off once it has been applied. Consequently, the material will not adhere properly due to the presence of silicone. Consequently, I am now required to tidy it up and make another reservation, leading me to my subsequent inquiry. What is the most effective method for cleaning the PTFE spray that I have used extensively, including on seals and any plastic components that come into contact with each other?Does anybody have any recommendations on how I can clean it? Thank you very much!

In the future, I will take into account the OCD aspect. However, at now, my primary concern is that the price of the thing I purchased accurately corresponds to its worth. Up until now, I had a total of 4 megabytes. Each time I exchanged one, I held the hope that maybe my previous experience was only a stroke of bad luck, and that the new one would actually exceed my expectations. However, each time, they all left me rather dissatisfied. Perhaps my expectations for a combination of metal and plastic are too high 🙂

Greetings. Recently, I have observed an unusual noise emanating from the rear of my 2023 A class vehicle. The sensation may be likened to the sound produced when a pack of 12 plastic Coca-Cola bottles are in close proximity, causing them to rub against each other and emit a high-pitched squeaking noise. I attempted to identify the source of the sound, but I have been unable to determine it so far. Have any of you ever conducted an experiment similar to this? This is most noticeable while driving at low speeds on uneven roads or when encountering a speed bump. Thank you beforehand!

Encountered a similar issue when working on a vehicle. Based on my recollection, the oil was originating from the head gasket located above the timing cover. Certain locations inside the timing cover need sealing with RTV. If the oil manages to penetrate that barrier, it has the potential to enter the bell housing and thereafter be propelled in various directions. The resemblance to your previous article is rather striking.

The malfunctioning steering wheel controls
Blu_Ray_UK2007 replied to PixelMaster's topic in General Discussions
That would be logical as the airbag is only linked via the clock spring connection IIRC. However, he did not mention the absence of an airbag light. Nevertheless, it is worth investigating anyhow. -

Oil replacement after winter storage
Blu_Ray_UK2007 replied to jennycarlotta's topic in General Discussions
I often engage in my own activities during the spring season, while it is not connected to the act of storing it throughout the winter. I believe that storage has little impact on the oil itself for a short period of a few months.
