I agree that the soil must be same, yet, the black vehicle seemed to maintain a cleaner appearance for a longer duration. During my daily commute, a black automobile would remain clean for a whole week without requiring any cleaning. The white automobile seemed quite dirty after only one day. The dust I referred to was atypical in nature. One would have assumed that this substance had been used as a protective layer, making it more difficult to remove than typical dust. The sight brought back memories of the time when the nearby power plant would clean out their tanks, resulting in the accumulation of black, sooty residue on the windows of houses.

How to fix a chipped paint on a calliper?

If it is causing you discomfort, then take action and do the task. Using touch-up paint will suffice. -

I had made a reservation for the automobile with the dealership from where I purchased it. Resolution: The problem of noise emanating from the car's interior was identified. In order to fill the automobile, they must remove the rear panel. The difficulty arises from the usage of PTFE spray, since the material cannot be stripped off once it has been applied. Consequently, the material will not adhere properly due to the presence of silicone. Consequently, I am now required to tidy it up and make another reservation, leading me to my subsequent inquiry. What is the most effective method for cleaning the PTFE spray that I have used extensively, including on seals and any plastic components that come into contact with each other?Does anybody have any recommendations on how I can clean it? Thank you very much!

In the future, I will take into account the OCD aspect. However, at now, my primary concern is that the price of the thing I purchased accurately corresponds to its worth. Up until now, I had a total of 4 megabytes. Each time I exchanged one, I held the hope that maybe my previous experience was only a stroke of bad luck, and that the new one would actually exceed my expectations. However, each time, they all left me rather dissatisfied. Perhaps my expectations for a combination of metal and plastic are too high 🙂

Greetings. Recently, I have observed an unusual noise emanating from the rear of my 2023 A class vehicle. The sensation may be likened to the sound produced when a pack of 12 plastic Coca-Cola bottles are in close proximity, causing them to rub against each other and emit a high-pitched squeaking noise. I attempted to identify the source of the sound, but I have been unable to determine it so far. Have any of you ever conducted an experiment similar to this? This is most noticeable while driving at low speeds on uneven roads or when encountering a speed bump. Thank you beforehand!

Encountered a similar issue when working on a vehicle. Based on my recollection, the oil was originating from the head gasket located above the timing cover. Certain locations inside the timing cover need sealing with RTV. If the oil manages to penetrate that barrier, it has the potential to enter the bell housing and thereafter be propelled in various directions. The resemblance to your previous article is rather striking.

The malfunctioning steering wheel controls

That would be logical as the airbag is only linked via the clock spring connection IIRC. However, he did not mention the absence of an airbag light. Nevertheless, it is worth investigating anyhow. -

Oil replacement after winter storage
Blu_Ray_UK2007 replied to jennycarlotta's topic in General Discussions
I often engage in my own activities during the spring season, while it is not connected to the act of storing it throughout the winter. I believe that storage has little impact on the oil itself for a short period of a few months. -
Comparison between C-HR and Yaris Cross

Has the Yaris Cross been traversed by you? -
May I inquire with members who have influenced both their perspectives? Initially, I was inclined towards selecting the Yaris Cross, but I am now inclined towards the C-HR due to its larger size, although not excessively so. There is a scarcity of parking facilities in my locality. While there are other variants that exhibit somewhat more width and height in comparison to the Yaris, my personal preference is with the C-HR.

Corrosion of Gearbox Oil Cooler Pipes
Blu_Ray_UK2007 replied to Geek2232's topic in General Discussions
Without complete information, it is difficult to provide a definitive answer. However, I must admit that I have limited knowledge about the R8GT. It is worth noting that all R8 LMS cars are equipped with gearbox coolers for their sequentials. Additionally, in early 2010, there was a cooling redesign for the LMS cars due to elevated engine and gearbox temperatures. R-tronic has superior heat dissipation compared to S-Tronic. Additional air ducting or air flow adjustment might have been included in the R8GT. The Z06 engine operated at temperatures of 305°F oil, 235°F water and 270°F gearbox (manual) on days with a temperature of 75°C at Virginia International Raceway. Among these temperatures, the gearbox was the only one that caused significant difficulties. The automobile was anticipated to reach the specified temperatures for the oil and water, which, to be honest, is not very favourable given that the majority of the additives in the oil are cooked beyond that point. Chevrolet's first introduction of the 7th generation Corvette was marred by a significant error. It was believed that a group of experienced individuals would purchase them for the purpose of embarking on a weekend excursion. Prior to the occurrence of several lawsuits, there was a significant number of individuals who purchased these vehicles, particularly Corvettes, with the intention of driving them to high speeds. By the conclusion of their 2019 run, the plant had implemented a fully revamped and enhanced cooling system. -
Corrosion of Gearbox Oil Cooler Pipes

The primary reason I see is that owners do not exert significant effort while driving the automobiles, rendering it futile. While there may be some validity to such claim, the reasoning lacks coherence. Why purchase a vehicle with front/rear SLA if the automobile's only function is to go in a straight line? The management of cooling systems poses significant challenges and incurs substantial costs within the realm of research and development. Due to inadequate underbody airflow, the designers determined that it was imperative to include a cooler in order to cool the gearbox. The VW group would likely see a significant issue with superfluous oil coolers. Do you sometimes overheat the gearbox when driving to car meets? However, it seems that you are impeding the car's performance. If you ever drive the vehicle on the track or in really hot weather, it will quickly become evident. I have already seen gearbox temperatures over 270°F on the track, which are both unpleasant and unmanageable without adequate cooling. -
