Corrosion of Gearbox Oil Cooler Pipes
Blu_Ray_UK2007 replied to Geek2232's topic in General Discussions
The primary reason I see is that owners do not exert significant effort while driving the automobiles, rendering it futile. While there may be some validity to such claim, the reasoning lacks coherence. Why purchase a vehicle with front/rear SLA if the automobile's only function is to go in a straight line? The management of cooling systems poses significant challenges and incurs substantial costs within the realm of research and development. Due to inadequate underbody airflow, the designers determined that it was imperative to include a cooler in order to cool the gearbox. The VW group would likely see a significant issue with superfluous oil coolers. Do you sometimes overheat the gearbox when driving to car meets? However, it seems that you are impeding the car's performance. If you ever drive the vehicle on the track or in really hot weather, it will quickly become evident. I have already seen gearbox temperatures over 270°F on the track, which are both unpleasant and unmanageable without adequate cooling. -

I feel the same way. 😖 -
Simply adhere to the indicated deadline as stated on the dash menu.

In my opinion, authentic Motul products should be of high quality. The use of 5w instead of 10w is not a significant issue; it just indicates that the oil is formulated to function well at a broader temperature range.

Greetings Audi recommends using 5W30 oil for the purpose of ensuring long-term durability. You have the option to use the 5W40 oil with a consistent interval and it is recommended that you adhere to this schedule. There should be no issues given they own 11.5 litres of oil for their V8 engine.

Have you contemplated the possibility of leaving the vehicle unlocked? Does it not have an auto-lock feature? My device does have that limitation. However, I believe there is a method to circumvent it. Would you want to enable the 'tow away' function? Is that a viable option?

Which plugs did you install? They dislike elaborate plugs.Have you also inspected for hoover leaks? Leaking pipes or tiny bore tubes must not leak under vacuum conditions.Clean all the fuses and inspect the battery terminals for cleanliness and tightness. Clean and lubricate the Earth points, then reinstall them.Additionally, it is recommended to clean the idle air control valve thoroughly with carburetor cleaner. I fill mine with the cleaner and let it set overnight. This is the location of the intracranial volume (ICV).

Impressive! I would want a detailed breakdown of all the changes you have made to the car, including engine upgrades, weight reduction measures, and additions both inside and externally. I am seeking inspiration from your innovative approach to pushing the boundaries of what is achievable with gen1 vehicles.

Brake hose on E46 325ci is jammed in the brake calliper.

I have not needed to use heat since I began using it years ago, even when I assumed I would have to. Continue dowsing and then depart for as extended a period as feasible. -

AC90 is superior than WD40 for loosening nuts and bolts. Continue to douse it and then let it soak overnight. -
Determining from a snapshot is challenging, if not unattainable. Previously, AMG operated as an independent tuning company. In the UK, components could only be obtained via Stratton's, the only distributor. Parts were available for the SECs, including some 500 and 560 models with AMG bodykits, steering wheels, and wheels, which were quite pricey. It is uncertain whether any saloon kits were available. I really doubt that a 300 would have been equipped with authentic AMG components when it was new, mostly because of the cost. AMG kits should be branded with a component number. They were not originally installed at the manufacture. I mistakenly believed I had already submitted this, resulting in some duplication of BTB's.

Purchasing a high-mileage E400d. Unwise decision?
Blu_Ray_UK2007 replied to Screwdriver_1's topic in General Discussions
85k miles is not considered excessive mileage. These vehicles are often in better condition when regularly used and maintained compared to low-mileage vehicles that may have mechanical issues from lack of usage. 300k miles is considered heavy mileage. -

Either reputation or cost. £90 much more than £20. You are making an inappropriate comparison. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266658096349?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=L17ZJ2mVRd-&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=xvl3svqktkw&var -
I have never contemplated much on the impact of humidity and temperature on my well-being. Indeed, I ought to consider doing so. I have a strong interest in light and have extensively researched it. The influence on behaviour and mood is extensively recorded. Although it may seem peculiar, I have a strong preference for certain light levels, measured in foot candles, light colour, measured in Kelvin, and even CRI, which indicates how well the light replicates sunshine for colour perception. I am very astounded by the extent to which I can manipulate my emotions via the use of various lighting techniques. I use high Colour Rendering Index (CRI) lights with an intensity of around 40 foot candles for office work. These lights have a colour temperature of 5000K. As the work day progresses, I gradually reduce the colour temperature to 4000K and the intensity to 20 foot candles. During the final two hours of my work day, I switch to non-LED lights with a colour temperature of 3000K and an intensity of around 10 foot candles. I own a large quantity of candles that I often neglect to ignite due to my laziness. Additionally, I have candles affixed to my walls, which contribute to a very relaxed pre-sleeping ritual. All of my ceiling can lights are linked to the Phillios Hue system, allowing me to manage them using Alexa and create routines. Furthermore, I have successfully integrated the shades into the system, allowing them to gradually ascend with the onset of sunlight. If I attain enough wealth, I will include real bagpipes, similar to those used by the Queen of England, or maybe a whole orchestra, as shown in the film Coming To America (and naturally, the bath attendants as well). Currently, just the lights, blinds, and coffee maker are programmed to operate automatically. I strongly endorse it.

This raises another inquiry. Will activating the AC and setting the heat to the highest degree reduce the overall heat level? I must admit that I did not excel in formulating that inquiry. Is it possible to activate the AC and set the heat to the highest level in order to get maximum heat in the car? Do individuals consistently use the air conditioning button when using the heating function?
-
What is the reason for the activation of the AC light when pressing the front defrost button? I am likewise perplexed by this.
-
However, does the correct one activate both the tiny flat window above the shelf and the large glass that covers the engine bay?
-
I am perplexed by the functionality of my defrost buttons. What is their occupation? Which window is this for?

You own two distinct categories of services. One option is interim, while the other is a comprehensive solution that is more costly.

I suspect that it is also connected to the seatbelt alerts. However, I lack tangible proof to support that claim.
