I performed an oil and filter change yesterday, and today the iDrive indicated that the oil level was too high; however, the dipstick shows no oil level. The dipstick indicates no oil, although the gauge displays an excessively high reading. Everything was OK after the oil change yesterday. No oil is seeping anywhere. Even if there is a defective sensor, my dipstick should still indicate the presence of oil. I will examine the filter later today and inspect the dipstick. Does anybody have any recommendations? Thank you in advance.

Recommendations for purchasing a R8 V10
Blu_Ray_UK2007 replied to DreamWeaver's topic in General Discussions
In my own opinion, I find the Coupe to be aesthetically superior than the Spyder, mostly due to the inclusion of a glass engine window that allows for a clear view of the V10 engine. They illuminated the engine bay to enhance visibility at nighttime. The Spyder engine remains concealed until the hood is opened. Spyder's limited headroom when the top is closed may be a concern for anybody taller than 6 feet. -
Indeed, it is only the downward stroke that generates the necessary force to propel the piston outward.
-
It will not, just have someone apply gentle pressure to the brake and see the piston extending outward. To be honest, they are around 1.75 inches in length. You simply need to extend it by around 20mm.
-
Elevate the vehicle, rotate the wheels. Observe if the rear brake discs exhibit uneven temperature distribution on one side of the vehicle after a drive with little braking.

Is the rear brake calliper sticking?

As mentioned by @TDud ette, it is a really practical approach - I have acquired a considerable number of winter tires using this method over the years. It is important to note that winter tires begin to lose their effectiveness once the tread depth reaches 4mm. Many people choose to sell their tires at this point. Therefore, it is not advisable to spend a significant amount of money on 4mm winter tires, as they may not have much usable life remaining. I agree with the concerns about the date code, and it is important to ensure that the product remains within a timeframe of less than 10 years.

What is the colour of this R8?

Indeed, they are two distinct colours that were offered in 2012, correct? Is it possible for the automobile to have both Suzuka Grey and Ice Silver colours? I am attempting to ascertain its identity. -
What is the colour of this R8?

The ad indicates that the colour is "Suzuka Grey Metallic/Ice Silver," nevertheless, it seems to be silver in my observation. I believe the object is covered with a matte wrap, which might be altering its colour to some extent. Could someone please determine the precise colour of this automobile based on either the VIN or the pictures? -
I have been searching for a 2012 R8 GT to acquire, with the intention of subsequently doing a manual conversion on it. However, this particular one is causing me confusion: https://www.phofnash.com/inventory/used-2012-audi-r8-gt-5-2-fsi-quattro-2d-coupe-wua9nafg3cn900310/

Hi all, I used to have some problems with exhaust system on my R8, but my mechanic made some changes on the car's system and everything is quite good now . Thanks

A few years ago, I embarked on the same journey with my motorcycle. Since I did not see any R8 vehicles, it may be inferred that we own a unique and distinctive automobile.

Modern devices equipped with integrated SIM cards need more frequent use, since the SIM card has the tendency to enter a dormant state, and this is the method to reactivate it. -
Greetings, A 2010 E350 vehicle with a mileage of 50,000. I believe that one of the front springs has fractured, and I am uncertain about the cause or mechanism behind it. Has anybody replaced them with Bilstein or Sachs springs, or did you choose to use Mercedes-Benz springs? There is a price difference of almost two times. The cost of a pair of Bilsteins is £100, including delivery via AUTODOC. The price for a pair of Sachs is £109 via Carparts4less, which is essentially an online-only site for Euro Car Parts. The cost for a pair of MB is £232 from a local dealer, but may be obtained for £214 through Mercedes Newcastle on eBay. Undoubtedly, MB is the least certain to give rise to complications, and I am inclined towards that option. However, I am curious whether the originals are only relabeled Bilsteins/Sachs?

It is likely that we have all come across individuals of such kind in the past. My approach is to just go on; it is their disadvantage and there are plenty others who are worth interacting with.

Is it advisable to remap my Mercedes E-Class E280 W211?

Although it may seem trivial, what is your intended goal? Do you need more "umph" due to necessity, or is it more of a desire for an extra boost? What are the numbers for E320 and E350? Or improved fuel efficiency (improbable). Which stage is it: Stage 1 or Stage 2? I understand that it may seem overly concerned with little details, but it is pertinent to the matter at hand. -
Impressive. Thank you. I fail to get the purpose of erecting it if I am just going to dismantle it again upon my next use of the vehicle. The one rationale I can see for doing so would be to prevent excessive accumulation of dust inside the vehicle, particularly during prolonged periods of non-usage.
