cumblechook22
I am in possession of a BMW 330e model from the 2017 production year, denoted by the 67 plate. I have lately seen a limited number of channels being shown on both the channel selection and the television guide. After doing a retuning process, the system indicated the discovery of 67 channels. However, the display continues to show a limited selection, consisting only of the same 5 channels. I am aware that I may be engaging in an erroneous or unintelligent action, and I would really appreciate your assistance in rectifying the situation. IrvesBMW
There may be a wide range of radio stations available, however the number of TV channels could be limited based on your region. The aftermarket antenna installed in my 320d could not get any television signals outside my home, so I did not pay much attention to it. However, one day while waiting for my wife at a higher place, I decided to experiment with it and it successfully picked up 60 to 70 television channels. Attempt it once again in an other setting. cumblechook22
Relocating and doing a rescan resulted in the detection of more than 80 television channels. However, only the same 5 stations were being shown.
ByteStorm
In my 2004 730d Sport, I initially had analogue TV which had generally good reception. However, due to the nature of being in a moving vehicle, the reception could sometimes be slightly unclear. Overall, it was still very functional. After the transition to digital TV, the reception became more binary in nature - either good or bad. When stationary on a hill, the reception and quality were good. However, when on the move, the digital TV did not perform as well as the analogue. It was acceptable when the signal was strong, but otherwise, the experience was a failure. It is intriguing that just five items are shown. Is this a subset of a favourites list? Are you able to visually see the names of all 80 individuals, or is it only a statement indicating the presence of 80 individuals?
Mistral
A few years ago, I installed an aftermarket television in my MGZTCDTI. It provided excellent picture quality on all channels. However, the reception quality depended on the signal source and location. In some places, the reception was great, but it made a significant difference when I turned the car around or changed direction. Nevertheless, the television was merely a novelty, as I rarely watched it. I had it set up to watch while driving, but I never did so because it was not a safe or legal idea. cumblechook22
Although I first believed that the feature was related to 'favourites', I have discovered that it only allows me to add a channel to favourites, not delete it. It is asserting a total of 80.

ByteStorm
Engage in colloquial conversation with individuals in Mississippi and Massachusetts, I assure you. Favourites are not one of the peculiarities in our common language, OH - Favourites - you see 🙂 Spellcheckers may be frustrating. Sitha (located in close proximity to Leeds!) Screwdriver_1
Greetings, everyone. Has anybody discovered a resolution to this problem? I own a 2018 X3 equipped with the TV feature. Previously, it functioned flawlessly. However, I am now experiencing an issue where, when scanning, it detects a total of 84 digital channels. However, at completion of the scan, just Challenge TV is shown, with no other channels appearing. I have attempted in other areas, with same outcomes. I suspect that there is a software glitch, which is preventing me from updating it. Interestingly, my attempts to update the software using the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) provided by BMW have also been unsuccessful. If I am unable to locate the explanation, I will consult BMW when my service is due in October. Regrettably, they are not in close proximity to my location. ianwh4
Have you successfully resolved this issue? I am experiencing the exact same problem with my 2018 740ld. It only saves around 8 television stations and one radio station. Thank you in advance, Ian.
