At last, I have returned to a residence that accommodates a second vehicle, thus I am eager to acquire a convertible Mercedes. It has been eight years since I disposed of my exquisite SLK32, which appears to have undergone a plate alteration as it has vanished. I would consider another option, yet I have always been enamoured with the R171 SLK55, making it my primary choice; the 32 models exhibit erratic pricing, take considerable time to sell, and most suffer from cosmetic defects, which I wish to avoid, as I prefer any rust to remain concealed on the subframe! The 55 models with approximately 70,000 miles appear to be priced between £14,000 and £16,000. On the opposite end of the spectrum, there are several questionable options available on eBay priced between £8,000 and £9,000. There are several potentially altered versions priced at approximately £16,000. I am seeking a vehicle priced between £10,000 and £12,000, with little concern for mileage, focusing instead on its condition. I have observed numerous properties that have remained on the market for an extended period without selling, as well as those with seemingly overly ambitious pricing. There is a listing on eBay for a vehicle that has accumulated 152,000 miles and has been declared a total loss, priced at £12,500. I have no interest in that specific option, but I believe that if a quality, low-mileage vehicle can be acquired for £15k, then a high-mileage, totalled vehicle should be considerably cheaper, and I would anticipate a price closer to the £8-9k range. What price would you anticipate for a vehicle with a pristine history and excellent condition that has surpassed 100,000 miles? Is my financial allocation insufficient to acquire a satisfactory option?

I purchased a TOYOTA CH-R GR in October 2021, and in August 2026, I noticed that the front LED daytime running lights on the passenger side are malfunctioning. I reached out to the dealership from which I purchased my vehicle, and they conveyed via telephone that I must replace the entire headlight, amounting to 1,600 €. I find it intolerable for a corporation such as TOYOTA and for a vehicle model that I have operated for roughly 63,000 km to experience LED failures (unless it was a flawed production run). LEDs, as we are all aware, do not simply cease functioning abruptly. I possess acquaintances who own the same model from a prior year than 2021, with higher mileage, and have not encountered such an issue. Do you possess any details regarding the subject?

Otherwise, get a new automobile and throw it away if you really care about the environment. Environmentalists and politicians find it more convincing since, despite being just eleven years old, its production used resources that would have been depleted over millions of years.

Surprisingly, you're absolutely correct. You can find a wide selection on Auto Trader!

As far as I am aware, there is no such thing as an Evoque Cabriolet, therefore I don't understand how anything could be classified under that category.

My current vehicle is a 2015 2l-liter diesel, and I'm hoping to receive around $7,000–$7,000 selling it. Ideally, the car would have low mileage (up to 30,000 miles), a clean history, and all-around sensors. However, with so many options, how can I choose the best one? Please let me know your opinions.

Rear camera W212 retrofitting: another alternative

It appears like they used some unique materials for that kit; could someone confirm that? It's hard to believe I didn't find it earlier; it appears to be of high quality. Their website doesn't specify anything about that kit. -

Compared to other configurations, this one is really straightforward to comprehend and implement. The Garmin box seems to have some built-in features, however there is no canbus warning or anything like. The only accessories included are the Garmin rear camera parts. You won't need to run any more connections; the video shows you how to deliver wireless data to a Garmin device from behind. Even though the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) method is preferable, this works well as a simple back camera option, therefore I would go for it. -

I got the NTG 4.5 audio 20 unit no (command) since it's the cheapest system for this car, but I had to read a lot about retrofit rear cameras for W212 models because mine didn't come with one. Then I found out that it's not even possible to retrofit the original camera system with MB parts. After doing some digging, I came out an aftermarket module on AliExpress that ought to make it happen. However, I decided against that as there was little information available on the subject. Retrofitting the original camera from MB is possible with a command system, but it's a bit of a hassle and can be expensive. I came up with this system, basically. command system for MB's initial retrofit - The China wired kit -External screen-equipped wired kit - GPS-enabled wireless display I went with the wireless Garmin option that includes a GPS screen because the original GPS (Becker) is so useless and expensive to update (100€). To be honest, I could have saved money by not buying the GPS screen alone because I could have used a decent GPS. I appreciate certain aspects of this. One device with both a GPS and a camera. Very simple installation; there aren't many wires to go inside the vehicle. From the exterior, it appears to be OEM, and the quality is great to the touch. It will save you a tonne of time and effort without requiring you to alter your current setup. Reverse side of this remedy. After shifting into reverse, the screen takes around two seconds to load, and the image quality might be improved. Adding another screen may annoy certain people, but it doesn't disturb me in the least. S$100,-Garmin GPS Camera from Garmin 150€ Feel free to ask any questions you may have on this Garmin system or any other solution, and I will try my best to answer them.

This happened to me twice, but each time the problem was with the LED light controller (water ingress), not the headlights themselves.

I can provide information regarding my Hyundai Tucson, which is equipped with the HDA capability, and my eldest son own a similarly equipped KIA EV6. HDA operates quite well on both vehicles. I recommend that you schedule an appointment with your selling dealership and elucidate the issues encountered with the HDA engaged, as it should not function as you have described. If you purchased the car as new, you have the option to reject it; the procedure is available online or through Citizens Advice.

Is this the appropriate piggyback fuse holder? I am quite perplexed by your remark on a modest profile. -

Thank you. -
Hello, what size piggyback fuse holders are required for the glove box fuse box fuses? I have ordered a 2022 automobile but have not yet picked it up; I intend to install a dashcam once I have brought the car home. Thank you.

Given the several problems, it appears to be a power supply issue. You are at the wiring diagram section to verify the power supplies from the CAS and JBE, as that is where the power for the various modules in the vehicle originates

The code provided by the machine would be beneficial.

Do you own an extra wheel? A jack would only be provided if a spare wheel was available.
