  1. Thank you very much. I hope they have inventory available.
  2. Thank you for your response. I have searched for aftermarket options as well, but have not seen any. Could you provide a contact or link to share?
  3. Greetings, Community My E350 CGI is experiencing a misfire, and my technician indicates that it need new high-tension leads. Mercedes provided the component number A2721500318, but subsequently indicated that it is out of stock in the UK and has been discontinued. I have contacted Mercedes in Germany, and they have provided the same response. The vehicle is just 14 years old and has recorded 90,000 miles. I am not prepared to abandon it for the sake of generating HT leads. Any suggestions or information would be much appreciated. Thank you very much
  4. It is prevalent among more vehicles than one would assume; upon closer inspection, one will recognise the many automobiles equipped with larger passenger mirrors. In addition to the aforementioned reasons, you are seeing a mirror positioned four to five times further away than the driver's side mirror, hence it is logical for it to be larger. It pertained to several Volkswagen and Audi models from the 1980s and 1990s throughout my tenure in sales.
  5. It was only a virtually depleted battery. I feel foolish, but at least I spotted it before contacting anybody. 😅
  6. Hello, I own a MAXIECU but am seeking a mobile technician equipped with a STAR reader in the Essex region, namely Braintree. I hope they can use it as an ignition, since one click activates flashing lights and sounds!
  7. Hello, I am seeking assistance. I installed new discs, pads, and a calliper, but when I returned to the vehicle for a test drive... Initially, the red SRS light illuminated upon key insertion. Subsequently, at the first turn, a message indicating an SRS Restraint System failure prompted a workshop visit, accompanied by various clicking sounds, flickering driving lights, and intermittent dashboard illumination. I have attempted to detach the battery for many minutes and conducted a cursory inspection to see if the electrical socket, presumably for the airbag, under the passenger seat remains attached. I am somewhat perplexed, since I have just used the brakes and have not interacted with the wiring or the engine compartment, except than replenishing the brake fluid. Assistance required.
  8. If it has been at 0 volts for any duration, it will be irretrievable. Even if it accepts a charge, its capacity will be significantly diminished and it will be permanently impaired. Nothing depletes and sulphates a battery more rapidly than allowing it to remain discharged. Zero volts is uncommon and often indicates that the battery has had an internal short circuit.
  9. Given its proximity, it has moderate mileage and exhibits some wear and tear. It is an early W204 model with bigger wing mirror lenses. Disregarding the AMG insignia and custom tints, the boot floor is elevated, presumably for battery access. It has remained stationary for an extended period, as shown by the condition of the front brake disc. - Is the engine light on, or is it just the ignition activated? Consider acquiring a later model W203 Estate instead.
  10. A friend of mine is intrigued by this: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202402066306041?sort=price-asc&advertising-location=at_cars&body-type=Estate&make=Mercedes-Benz&model=C Class&page=2&postcode=CB24 6ZR&fromsra&polaAffiliate=isis&utm_source=RoEye&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=HELP&utm_content=Skimbit Ltd.&utm_term=Performance
  11. For a car with a red metallic colour, the interior choice that would be most suitable is cream or porcelain. However, the decision is ultimately up to you. Regardless of whatever motor you choose, it will be of excellent quality.
  12. The engine mounts and gearbox mounts are significantly worn and in need of repair.
  13. However, locating unusual sounds, particularly those sent via the internet, may be exasperating. Cracked exhaust manifolds, caused by a broken stud or other issues, may lead to a ticking noise that becomes more pronounced as the engine heats up. Engine revolutions per minute (RPM) I had identical symptoms on my last s123 vehicle equipped with the m102 engine. The reason of the issue was a fractured manifold bolt in my situation. However, without using a stethoscope or doing a thorough examination, the noise was comparable to a severe rattling originating from the upper part of the engine. The prevalence of broken exhaust manifolds on the M111 engine is uncertain, although they are certainly not uncommon.
  14. The Manta GTE has a standard fit. They were quite pleasant.
  15. Did they do wheel balance and wheel alignment, and were the readings satisfactory?

  17. At a price of £60,000, I would be content with acquiring three items. For the weekdays, a blue car is chosen, while a silver facelift is preferred for the weekends. A black car is kept as a spare.

  19. Did you provide your vehicle identification number (VIN) when you purchased the gasoline pumps? The pumps do not resemble authentic Mercedes components.
  20. I am experiencing a similar issue, but specifically with an M103 engine following the installation of new pumps.Initially, the machine starts easily with the push of a button. However, with time, it becomes progressively more difficult to start each day. I have a new fuel filter and accumulator prepared for installation. If the engine fails to start initially, I suggest turning off the ignition and inspecting the gasoline distributor for any leakage via the plunger seal.Insufficient gasoline is always the reason why the automobile cannot be started for the first time after being parked.
  21. What is the purpose of using agro £££ on conventional roads when there is little to no benefit?
  22. Instead of inspecting the tyre pressures, he was really engaging in the act of stealing the wheels.
