It appears to be in limp mode, which is likely related to the engine; nevertheless, it is unusual for it to be in limp mode without any fault codes present. The yt 642 exhibited same behaviour when my turbocharger experienced a loss of boost. If the engine is not generating sufficient power, the gearbox will not shift up until it reaches high RPMs. Stuttering resembles engine noise more than gearbox sound. Regrettably, all of this is somewhat speculative from this distance.

Released from my dealer...

Greetings, Could anyone with a 2021 E Class Coupe C238 provide a photograph of the under-boot area? I recently purchased a used model and discovered the absence of a tyre inflation kit, which I was informed should have been included from the factory, given that it was equipped with run-flat tyres. I can readily obtain an equivalent item from Halfords, but I would want to view an image, if possible, to ascertain the appropriate placement of the Tow Rope box and Emergency kit. Thank you in advance.

Judicial Discontent Regarding Credit Hire Expenses
AMG33D replied to clk320x4's topic in General Discussions
It seems that even judges want their opportunity to appear in court. -
Thank you for your response; I completely concur. This is only my understanding; no court or official agency has corroborated it, thus the question marks. If it is really the day of signing, then that is the situation, naturally. In summary, I get that it is a lengthy and probably futile procedure. Thank you

I have an unusual scenario, and I aim to articulate it clearly without excessive elaboration. My last inquiry will pertain to three specific matters: what actions would you do now? I believe I submitted the vehicle inside the warranty term, but Mercland disagrees. Mercland has sold me a non-existent warranty. Mercland has operated my vehicle upon certification of its repair for personal use. In January 2023, I purchased an S205 estate with an extended warranty from Mercland. January 16, 2023 I received my automobile from Mercland (Nuneaton) at my residence and can confidently assert that I am a proud owner of a Mercedes-Benz s205, 64 plate. Within a few days, I saw that the automobile took longer to start than usual. This marked the start of a seven-month period characterised by fluctuating travel to Mercland, during which I was without the vehicle for a total of six weeks and accrued over 2,000 more miles for 'test driving' purposes. I express it as 'this' because I received penalty penalties in the mail for unpaid tolls in London (about 3 hours distant / 140 miles from Mercland), which I find peculiar given the significant likelihood of the vehicle entering limp mode. Following the seven-month period, the vehicle was in satisfactory condition, and all repairs fell inside Mercland's six-month guarantee, which was acceptable. In September 2023, the Audio 20 system malfunctioned. A failure I encountered online is not unusual. Mercland informed me that this is now under the extended warranty (RAC) and no longer covered by Mercland. Understood. I was unaware of this, since I had never gotten any information about RAC and had previously assumed that the warranty was entirely with Mercland for its whole period. The RAC website indicates that the garage would provide all repair details, and I anticipated being called. I purchased the service at Mercland and then forgot about it over time. On January 7, 2025, I took the vehicle to Mercland for a comprehensive service. On the morning of January 11th, my automobile failed to start at my residence. This is the point of intrigue. The AA, sent via my insurance, came on January 12th in the early morning but was unable to identify the issue. An emergency vehicle was sent to remove my automobile. I contacted Mercland, since the vehicle is under repair there and I purchased the warranty from them, to enquire whether they can accept the car. That was feasible. While en route to Mercland, I sent a detailed email to elucidate the car's issues for the technicians' assistance. I also enquired about the specifics of my warranty, since it is set to expire on the 16th, two years from now. They did not respond to it. I requested the information by phone, and the representative assured me they would email it promptly; nevertheless, I never got it. I believed that Mercland would reach out to RAC, as indicated on the RAC website, and that Mercland would thereafter manage the situation. However, after many days, it began to irritate me, prompting me to request it again by email. Jay said that sales had ceased and that accessing the system is challenging, but he will send me the information at his earliest convenience. Furthermore, he said that the warranty would have lapsed by now anyway. I am still awaiting information on the warranty. I acknowledged that the warranty has already expired, but it was valid when I brought the vehicle in, and I would contact him the following morning. Consequently, I proceeded to do so. During this period, I spoke with RAC via both phone and email, receiving responses indicating their inability to locate any information on myself or the vehicle. I informed them that the warranty would have expired by now. I spoke with Janki, who confirmed that you purchased the automobile on January 4th, thereby initiating the warranty at that time. I was astonished. I said that the automobile was delivered on the 16th, although she insisted that the 4th was the correct date. After some debate over the phone, I initiated a hypothetical situation. I purchased a vehicle on January 1 without an extended warranty, hence the coverage lasts just six months. I will get the automobile on March 1. Is the subsequent two months of warranty rendered ineffective? Janki said that this is excessive; the purchase should occur in one or two days, but this is too severe. I said that mine is 12 days; where do you establish the boundary? She did not respond to the inquiry. The vehicle has been repaired after over four weeks, indicating that it has been at Mercland for more than ten weeks within a two-year period. Upon retrieval, I enquired once again about the warranty details. She resumed with the fourth item, which has now expired. I recognised and said that this is not what I enquired about. I would want to see the warranty paperwork, as I need to verify if I really had a warranty with RAC, as you said. She would send the details the next day. I did not get it and emailed a courteous reminder at the end of the day requesting it for the following day. No response received. I sent an email to RAC, the National Conciliation Services, and Mercland. I said that I would take action since this is fraud. Mercland has sold me an item that has never existed. It incurred additional expenses, and I would not use Mercland for comprehensive auto servicing if not for the guarantee provided by them, since there are Mercedes experts nearer to my residence. Upon returning the vehicle, I reviewed the dashcam video. I see many distinct excursions undertaken by the owner with my automobile after the notification from Mercland that the vehicle is prepared for collection. For instance, trips to their residence or delivering a package for mailing. This occurred without my notification. This concludes my narrative, and I pose the question: what actions would you do now? To recover the funds disbursed and to inform the relevant parties that Mercland has perpetrated fraud by compensating me for the use of my vehicle. Thank you everyone for your time!

It is hoped that a satisfactory used automobile warranty accompanies the purchase.

A few months before, my GLC entered limp mode on a chilly, icy morning after 500 yards, with no fault codes present. Parked and powered off, then restarted. It has been satisfactory since then. If it were a constant occurrence, I am certain we would all see it. I would attribute yours to a malfunction for the time being. Until you get that juncture.

Ten litres of oil are necessary for a complete ATF replacement. It is a torque converter, and you probably own a 7G+ gearbox. It has missed an automatic gearbox fluid change, which is scheduled every five years.
-
Successful outcome in obtaining the subframe replacement at no cost. It is regrettable that a ten-year-old vehicle need this. Upon disassembly, the dealer may discover worn components, prompting an inquiry on their replacement "while they are accessible." I am sceptical that Mercedes would install anything other than original equipment parts during reassembly. Delighted to hear you are enjoying your E63. I cherished mine and continue to miss it.

Regrettably, I must await a little longer to fully enjoy the E350E AMG, since I remained at the office on Tuesday until 4:55 PM for its arrival, after which I emailed the UK headquarters and departed for home. An email I was expected to get was never received; thus, my loan date has been postponed to the week commencing the 25th. I will have the BMW 530E M Sport just before the 20th to 22nd, providing an excellent chance to evaluate the engines and overall refinement. Regarding the Merc engine and the alleged construction issues, I enquired with an individual at headquarters, who seemed lacked knowledge on the matter; nonetheless, I suspect that even if he were informed, he would be unable to provide any details. It is peculiar that this engine is inducing delays in both E350e and C350e production, suggesting that the issue is more likely related to the engine itself rather than the specific vehicle model.
-
I will inform you about the construction dates, of course. During our first discussion on the 'underwhelming test,' it was revealed that the production of the E350E is now suspended owing to 'engine difficulties' (her terminology, not mine), with an anticipated delay of 6 to 7 months. Considering the engine's considerable noise during my test drive, I chose to enquire about it, hoping they were making some refinements. She somewhat retracted her statement to assert that Mercedes was only swamped by demand, which may really be accurate, since the G30 BMW 530E is now one of their top-selling premium vehicles. It remains peculiar that builds would be 'suspended'; so, the true rationale is uncertain. Hereās to anticipating improvements in the engine; nevertheless, I will do the test drive first and thereafter request further information from Mercedes HQ UK. They may be considering that the BMW meets a lower emissions standard, resulting in significantly reduced BIK tax expenses, especially in M Sport configuration with 20" wheels. The batteries provide a significantly extended range, suggesting potential modifications to the vehicle. The Lexus GS450h F Sport is notably fast. I acquired it from my Executive Director, who ordered it since he had the V6. However, he then developed a preference for an Audi RS6 Avant, purchased it privately, and asked if I would want to assume his GS lease. It is not as well constructed as the prior German vehicles I have owned (Audi/BMW), yet it remains quite satisfactory. Additionally, it incurs substantial BIK costs; thus, opting for the E350E would result in a monthly tax savings of Ā£250, while the BMW would yield a Ā£295 monthly saving. Consequently, either vehicle presents a significant financial advantage, as these amounts represent enhancements to my take-home pay, potentially allowing me to purchase a new car for my wife with those savings.

Initially, I commenced with the E350E AMG and subsequently incorporated the Premium Package, Night Package, Lane Tracking Package, Parking Package with a 360-degree camera, metallic paint, and split rear seats. I am enquiring about the pre-installation for rear entertainment, as it currently appears to include only USB ports, possibly accompanied by some brackets, which may enhance the experience for children during extended journeys. I have disabled several automatic driving capabilities, since I am uncertain about their use for the £1695 investment. Mercedes HQ positively replied to my email and will bring a long-term test vehicle, the E350E AMG, tomorrow. I will have it for a total of seven days, which pleases me much. Although it lacks the night package, a conversation with a kind gentleman revealed that several more amenities would likely be included, hence enhancing the vehicle's representation compared to the rudimentary specifications provided before. I look forward to operating it in various scenarios, since I have many long-distance journeys planned, in addition to a few short workplace commutes of just 7 miles each way.

It is believed that the engines are same in the C and E 350e variants.

Greetings, I just joined the site and have dedicated some time to perusing the extensive C350e owners thread, since both the C350e AMG trim and E350e AMG trim are contenders for my next business vehicle selection. Until yesterday, the C350e in AMG configuration was a formidable option; nevertheless, it may be rather inadequate in size, particularly since I sometimes transport colleagues and have a young family requiring car seats. The engine exhibited robust performance, and the trim was satisfactory; nevertheless, the little cabin constriction ultimately proved detrimental. Consequently, I regret to inform you that the C Class is no longer a consideration for my future corporate vehicle. During my visit, they provided me with the keys to an E350e, but not in the AMG grade that we had requested. Although the cabin seemed far larger, I must admit that I left feeling disappointed with the whole experience. To clarify, I am not here to provoke or start a debate on which automobile is superior; that is not my aim. The trim level of the E350e vehicle I drove yesterday seemed to be very low, particularly by Mercedes' standards, especially considering it was a car supplied by Fleet for demonstration reasons. I have not yet had a Mercedes as a corporate vehicle, but I have lately visited several dealerships and sat in a few models. The overwhelming majority seemed to be a really pleasant location. Recollecting, the majority of the E Class included a leather-stitched dashboard and the traditional multi-button configuration on the door panel for seat adjustment, elements that distinctly convey Mercedes luxury and elegance. However, the E350e I was shown yesterday lacked any of those features. The dashboard was an unappealing, rigid black plastic, and the chairs lacked complete adjustability, including just a limited array of buttons at the base, along with a manual lever for forward and backward placement. The vehicle lacked the elegant arrangement of Mercedes side panels, was devoid of parking sensors, and did not include an automatic boot closure button on the lid. The headlining was a cream hue that appeared worn, all on a car with 3,500 kilometres on the odometer. The most impressive aspects of the E350e were the engine acoustics and the driving experience. The engine was very loud and harsh-sounding, not just during acceleration in Sport or Sport+ mode but also when idling at traffic lights, creating an intrusive noise that was apparent to all of us. Surprisingly, none of us saw it in the C350e, making it perplexing why the technically superior vehicle had worse sound quality. The E350e suspension seemed to be inadequate as well. It seemed to languish, entirely lacking in sensation and response. Regrettably, I found the whole procedure profoundly unsatisfactory, resulting in both vehicles on my list being in contention. I am optimistic that the E350e I rode yesterday lacked some technological enhancements that contribute to superior ride handling seen in its more advanced variants. Given the absence of fundamental features such as motorised seats, I would presume that this may be the situation. I have written Mercedes to enquire whether they had an E350e in AMG trim available in the UK, since I am willing to go, giving yesterday's experience the benefit of the doubt. As I am unaware of the whole specifications or trim level of the vehicle I rode yesterday, could anybody with an E350e, particularly in AMG trim, provide insight into if enhancements are anticipated in the AMG variant? Regarding the engine, do you see yours as unusually loud, or might it be that the one observed yesterday was just operating very poorly? This is not a trolling message; I am maintaining an optimistic outlook, which is why I contacted Mercedes by email this morning. However, if I must base my purchase choice on yesterday's experience, I would be reluctant to approve a £55k E350e AMG and commit to a three-year lease, since it poses an excessive risk without assurance that the ride and handling would improve, although I am certain the trim will.

I am just 30 minutes away and can provide a second view if that would be beneficial.

I had many damaged springs, both front and back. Installed Eibach components without any issues to yet. -
The tyre pressure warning light activates after about one hour.
AMG33D replied to AMG33D's topic in General Discussions
I have contemplated if the issue may be the TPMS control module.Does it have a loose wire? Or is it influenced by thermal accumulation?I am unaware of its placement on the GLC220d.I am reluctant to remove plastic trays in search of it, but I may have to begin at some point. The TPMS batteries would not maintain recovery, would they? -
The tyre pressure warning light activates after about one hour.
AMG33D replied to AMG33D's topic in General Discussions
Confident that all tyre pressure monitoring systems are functioning properly, since they consistently provide correct readings after the vehicle has been driven for many kilometres. After about one hour of driving, the issue arises, and the warning light activates, accompanied by the message indicating that the monitoring system is unavailable. The next day, everything was satisfactory once again, until about one hour of operation. -
Hello, my tyre pressure warning light activates after about one hour of driving, accompanied by the statement "tyre pressure monitor unavailable." The next day was clear, and after a brief drive, I was able to check the tire pressures, all of which were OK.Continued driving will activate the warning light and message once again. Is this an issue with the control module? If so, where is it located on my GLC220d 4MATIC manufactured around January 2020?

Greetings, fellow enthusiasts, Can anybody provide guidance on whether breathable vehicle coverings are advantageous, or should I just get a standard cotton-lined car cover to save the paintwork? Thank you very much
-
The vehicle is equipped with a dual-clutch gearbox. I recommend having the ECU examined and possibly reset. According to your description, while in park, it attempts to engage either forward or reverse. Since the gearbox has been serviced, it is likely that the ECU requires restoration to its original settings using STAR or another diagnostic tool.
