  1. I fail to see why a conventional automotive pedal would be incompatible.
  2. I ensure that the oil and filter are changed at every MOT (about every 6,000 miles), and I maintain a spreadsheet to track all other service-related tasks. My vehicle is too outdated to support iDrive records.
  3. Once a vehicle is outside of the authorised dealer network, BMW does not prioritise the order and it becomes inconsequential to them. Is it a duration of 2 years? Ensure that the service is conducted in accordance with the computer's recommendations or by following the correct procedure, without beyond 10,000 miles between oil changes.
  4. Removing it is a straightforward task after the glovebox has been taken out.
  5. Indeed, diagnosing intermittent issues may be rather challenging, particularly when there are no error codes to provide any indication. If I were in your position, I would consider replacing the front fuse box/jbe with a secondhand one, since they are quite inexpensive. The fuse box may be easily installed and does not need any further configuration. However, it is important to ensure that the module component has the same part number as the one from the original automobile.
  6. The AUC (Automatic Recirculated Air Control) feature in BMW vehicles is not responsible for the DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) concerns. It is primarily used for automatically recirculating air in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system. This information is often shown when the vehicle is scanned. It is peculiar to have lights on without any error codes, which suggests a momentary power outage, comparable to when the ignition is turned off. I assume that the issue may be connected to JBE (Junction Box Electronics). To diagnose the problem, I would thoroughly inspect the connections on the JBE for any indications of moisture damage. I need a circuit diagram to accurately follow the path of wires for the power supply.
  7. Having the precise code and description would likely be helpful.
  8. Additionally, the Kia Connect app offers a feature to deactivate the 'Advanced Anti Theft' alert. To access the Advanced Anti Theft settings, go to the Home Screen on the Connect app and click 'More' at the bottom. Then, go to User Settings > User Profile > Vehicle Settings > Vehicle Settings (again) > Convenience. Finally, ensure that the 'Advanced Anti Theft' option is deselected.
  9. Yes, you may test the divert valve by applying a 12-volt power source to check whether it activates or not.
  10. Experiencing difficulties with boost malfunctions Prioritise the task of eliminating any potential leaks. Additionally, it would be beneficial to inspect the vacuum lines using a smoke machine. Please note that the £60 smoke machines need a separate compressor for operation. Alternatively, I personally use a smoke machine that comes with its own built-in compressor. It is important to avoid the wasteful practice of blindly replacing components in an attempt to resolve the issue. Instead, focus on systematically ruling out possible causes.
  11. During a recent flight, I noticed that all the seats on the aircraft were Recaro brand.
  12. I have recently travelled a distance of over 100 km by car. The battery is indicating a voltage of 14.2 while in transit. Occasionally decreasing to 13.8. Did not exceed such thresholds. The warning light only illuminates after the vehicle has been parked for a period of time. Currently, there is no indication or alert about the reading of 14 following the ignition process. Require durability throughout the duration of the weekend, including during transportation on a boat. Intend to use a physical key instead of an automated system.
  13. Thank you, bvlenci . During transportation, the current measurement has reached 14.8 volts. There is no message shown on the dashboard. I will schedule an appointment for a check-up next week.
  14. My automobile has been rather idle for the last several weeks. The vehicle in question is a 2019 E220 diesel model. The aforementioned notice has been shown on the dashboard both today and yesterday. I plan to operate the vehicle later this evening, since I was unable to do so earlier. Interestingly, on the distinct battery and engine menu, it seems that the battery is well charged and the notification vanishes after about one minute. Will the battery remain functional till I reach an automotive repair facility next week? Tomorrow, I will be embarking on a journey that will need me to spend a duration of 2 hours driving. Can you provide me with your assessment on the feasibility and safety of this endeavour? The battery remains unchanged so far.
  15. Recently, my employer added his son to his car insurance policy with Admiral, even though he doesn't typically insure his vehicles with them. This happened the day after his son passed his driving test. The car in question is a 4-year-old C1. The cost is £1400 without the use of a telematics device (Admiral does not provide telematics devices). I have been a loyal customer of Admiral for some years now. They have always offered fair rates for both of my daughters when they obtained their driver's licences, and I make sure to properly compare their rates every year. Incidentally, my employer is now in the market for a new car and is considering a 2019 C300d estate. He is unwilling to drive his GT3 on a daily basis.
  16. Essentially, it is a vehicle that combines the features of two different types. The electric hybrid motor is positioned between the engine and gearbox and provides assistance in delivering power intermittently. To see the energy flow while driving, go to the "Information" section and choose "Fuel Efficiency." From there, access the "Energy Flow Monitor." The double arrows indicate the flow of energy from both the gas and electric sources. Additionally, it is included on the window sticker.
  17. The blue one is a kind of clothing that is wrapped around the body. I glanced briefly since it is in close proximity to me. While the automobile is not inherently flawed, it does not really possess the colour "blue".
  18. I am under the impression that I came across information suggesting that there are disparities across HK music systems. Although I have always found the system in my Optima to be exceptional, I am unaware of its specific placement within the HK range of automotive systems. The non-HK system in my current Hyundai car is as satisfactory and I am content with it.
  19. The fuel efficiency is accurately described as follows: 16-18 MPG in city driving and 18-20 MPG on the highway.
  20. I bought the ML430 brand new in 1999 for my wife. Undoubtedly, it has been the finest automobile we have ever had. The vehicle now has an odometer reading of 98,000 miles and is still operating very well. Aside from a few minor issues after the delivery, the experience has been without any significant problems. We have just replaced the spark plugs, ignition wires, belt, fuel filter, front and rear ball joints, performed a radiator clean and changed the fluids in the gearbox and differentials. The total cost of these maintenance tasks was $2850.00. According to my independent technician, the vehicle is expected to last for an additional 100,000 miles. The ML350 is more popular than the 4.3L model because to its superior fuel efficiency. The reason for its discontinuation is likely the same as any other manufacturer: the introduction of new models and changes in branding. What is the difference between 350 and 430? According to my contact at Karl Heintz Mercedes, who has over 40 years of experience in the industry, the 430 models are far superior and have less issues. He solely works on MB's - I'll trust his expertise. Advice: Avoid purchasing a vehicle equipped with the factory Navigation System, since it is of subpar quality. I had a post-purchase navigation system added, which had XM radio and more functionalities - far superior. Proper maintenance ensures the longevity of any object, allowing it to function indefinitely. That belongs to me.02 Wishing you success!
  21. Thank you, my friend. The previous one had to be sent for repair on two separate occasions. All the malfunctions, such as the windows, mirrors, and wipers, were repaired. However, while reinstalling them in the vehicle, the central locking system began to malfunction, which was the sole component that was functioning properly before to the repair.
  22. Thank you for responding. Uncertain, however they are now transporting the item to the main dealership.
  23. I appreciate your response. The new item is completely new since the previous one was irreparable.
  24. The 2004 E46 330 convertible had a new module installed since the previous one was irreparable. The garage is unable to programme a new module for the automobile. Unable to locate or enter the vehicle identification number (VIN). Is it exclusive to authorised dealers? The garage is searching for a module that the automobile does not possess. Assistance would be much appreciated.
