  1. I believe it is not straightforward; there appears to be a missing code, but could you explain the values that the ECU is adjusting for various pressure ranges for each injector? Unable to locate any screenshots online, yet SDS at least displays them... I recall a comparable situation from the past... yet I cannot recollect the resolution.
  2. Remember to utilise this as a justification for taking a somewhat extended drive in your Evoque occasionally.
  3. Ah, the pleasures of possessing an Evoque!! Or any contemporary diesel vehicle, for that matter!
  4. Utilise the Search Community to locate references to Tongou. Proficient electricians present have conducted evaluations on several of these items, which are certainly worth investigating. It's somewhat beyond my comprehension.
  5. I converted the headlights of my lawn tractor from 2009 to LEDs. My inner rebel has been awakened by this realisation 😄
  6. I already have an e90 and was wondering if anyone has discovered any cheaper insurance for an e46? I'm planning to use it as a drift car that is still road legal, so I don't want to spend a tonne of money on insurance.
  7. Sadly, no; he's firmly putting his foot down. What a shame, because that car is just stunning. I simply do not believe it at this time.
  8. My research online indicated that these were tty bolts, so I appreciate your confirming that. Stretch or not, the assembly was a major letdown. It is a matter of trading standards because the dealer is also refusing to accept returns. Buddy, I really appreciate you sharing that information.
  9. The question I have is whether any technicians are available to provide me any advice. It just took a few hours after I bought my 2014 Outlander for the top injector to pop. During my investigation, I found that one of the three bolts wasn't even an injector bolt, the other two were twisted, and the retention bolt on the right side was missing. This shambles because the dealer just got a chain and balance shaft. Were those bolts supposed to be changed out when the chain was being worked on? 103,00 miles According to him, they can be reused, according to his "Mitsubishi trained mechanic." Apparently, that included the one that wasn't an injector bolt. Much obliged in advance!
  10. Thanks a lot, that's fantastic!
  11. Just lately, I started seeing a message that said "Start engine" whenever I opened the door to my three-year-old 530e, which has only 11,000 miles on the odometer. A problem with turning off the vehicle's electronics caused the power consumption to spike while the vehicle was at rest. Get your Service Partner to look into it if the issue persists. Does anyone have any idea what this notice means or a simple way to fix it before I spend a bunch on my "service partner"?
  12. From the wheel store, I purchased a spacesaver wheel and jacking system for £89. A new tyre will be necessary if you insert that foam. For what it's worth
  13. I can't help but wonder if it will be on an electric vehicle, because they claim that the first manufacturer has already implemented it.
  14. yet again, something that the average guy can't solve.
  15. Similar thing happened to me yesterday; I got the notice three times in the span of thirty minutes. We got there, hung around for 45 minutes, and then it returned on the way back.
  16. You have the option to have the automobile fixed or reject it during the first 30 days if you are insured by CRA. For my part, I'd turn down the automobile completely. They offered it as totally working even though they knew it was a "spares and repairs" vehicle; if you want to reject it for principle or just to be safe, that's OK.
  17. However, in the future, when purchasing an automobile, avoid sellers who attempt to get you to sign a "sold as seen" document. That should raise the most alarm bells in your head. Their message is essentially that "don't bring it back to us" because they know the automobile is in bad shape. While it's common practice for private sales to include an implicit sale, I've never heard of an individual selling their automobile requiring a buyer to sign a document—unless, of course, it's a dealership attempting to pull a fast one.
  18. Is this just any old dealership, even if you call it a garage? Are more vehicles available for purchase? The Consumer Rights Act might apply to you in that case. Please seek the counsel of citizens; I am not an attorney, but I can suggest that you do so.
  19. Is a head-up display available on the Sortage gt line s? No. If that's the case, how can I turn it on? The manual doesn't seem to cover it.
  20. For towbars, I recommend Witter. I thought they were headquartered out of Chester as well.
  21. It appears that dpf is currently prohibited. Whenever the eml turns on, it usually means that there have been too many failed efforts at regenerating, thus the correct equipment is needed to do it safely presently. You can see videos of a guy performing one on YouTube.
