  1. The fan controller used Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) to regulate the fan's speed. Additionally, the diagnostic signal is grounded to enable the fan controller to communicate any issues to the Engine Control Unit (ECU). LIN may be a cost-effective option, since it is affordable and sufficiently quick. However, using CAN as a controller would significantly increase the expenses.
  2. Undoubtedly seems to be a suspect. On the icarsoft device, you will have the capability to see the precise temperature sensor readings.
  3. Are there any signs of looseness or excessive movement in the front control arms?
  4. https://allaboutcookies.org/amazon-brushing-scam#:~:text=Brushing scams aim to generate, buyer and boost their sales.
  5. It is simple. Acquire one, connect it to a power source, establish a connection between the phone and the device, and it will operate flawlessly. It occurred on my previous CLK.
  6. Indeed, my battery is the larger variant. The positive update is that it has remained well-behaved throughout the night and is now remaining in monitoring mode.
  7. I removed the batteries to test their ability to keep a full charge and to verify that they are not defective, as advised by OneForTheRoad. During the night, I performed a reconditioning cycle on the auxiliary battery. This morning, I initiated a regular charging cycle on it, and now it is fully charged using the Noco auto charger. Transitioned to state supervision. I have transferred the charger from the starting battery to the main battery, which quickly replenished it to its maximum capacity. This action also caused the charger to switch to monitoring mode. I am aware that the batteries are in a satisfactory condition. I shall abstain from including them for the remainder of the week as a means of affirming their true condition. Your statement on the car's need to be aware of its battery seems to be credible. I own a vehicle equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine and I recall a video on YouTube by a content creator called ThreePeaks mentioning the need of wiring the batteries to the automobile. This issue is most likely a result of the user's actions, as is often the case with these vehicles. Everything was satisfactory. I was using crocodile clips to recharge the front battery when the vehicle was not in use. After seeing many instructional videos, I proceeded to connect the back battery to the charger. Everything seemed to be in order. Subsequently, I removed the auxiliary battery for a duration of many weeks and addressed the areas of rust on my vehicle. Upon reinserting it, I affixed a permanent connection to the auxiliary battery. However, throughout the charging process, it would reach the full capacity momentarily and then abruptly deplete to empty, remaining in that state until I initiated the car's ignition. Subsequently, it seemed that the activation of the automobile would revive the battery, enabling it to recharge flawlessly till the subsequent occasion when I inspected it and found the battery to be depleted once again. The automobile was delivered without its manuals or second key, resulting in a rather uncertain connection as I am left to speculate on its operation.
  8. Initially, I only charged the front battery and everything seemed to be OK. However, I then switched to charging the rear battery instead, which seemed to be effective. However, when I removed the battery to address minor rust issues, complications arose. I left the Auxiliary battery for repair overnight and am now recharging it from empty. This will determine whether it has to be replaced with a new battery. Once this is determined, I will proceed to do the same with the front battery.
  9. Thank you everyone. I want to attempt the removal of the battery and then charge it while it is not connected to the automobile. If the battery retains its charge and enters maintenance mode, it indicates that the automobile is becoming active and experiencing a power loss.
  10. I own a 2007 Sl350, which I acquired as a temporary automobile. It is not often used, similar to many other SLs. Previously, I used a Noco Genus 10 charger to maintain the charge of the front battery, and it functioned well. Nevertheless, I had to address a little issue of corrosion in the trunk, so I removed the auxiliary battery and performed the necessary maintenance. After reinserting everything, I connected charger terminals to the auxiliary battery and saw a really peculiar activity. The automobile undergoes a trickle charging process for a few days, but then experiences either a battery short circuit or a complete depletion of the battery. The remote becomes unresponsive, necessitating the physical use of the vehicle key to unlock it. Upon starting the automobile, all components come to life in a lively manner. The battery charger seems to indicate a momentary pause. No, I am not entirely flat. In fact, I have a green coloration. Can you observe? It then resumes regular behaviour till it begins the narrative over. When I start the vehicle, I see the typical error message indicating that the auxiliary battery is dead. However, after driving for a distance of at least 20 miles and properly recharging the batteries, all of them indicate a voltage of 12 volts or more, and everything returns to normal. Has anybody seen something analogous? I would like to mention that I own a S Coupe and I share the charger with it. The charger works well in that vehicle.
  11. Indeed, the SLK would remain in my possession if I were to purchase it. I must admit that I lack proficiency in the art of selling, particularly when it comes to automobiles. I am unlikely to purchase this item unless it is offered at a significantly reduced price. If I am going to face repercussions from Mrs. D for acquiring another vehicle, it must either provide exceptional value or allow for discreet concealment. Concealing vehicles may be costly, making it a worthwhile investment for a CLK GTR but not as much for a C 32, despite their remarkable qualities. It is important to note that while these vehicles are considered groundbreaking in my view, they have been sold at a low price for a significant period of time. As a result, it is usual to encounter deferred maintenance issues with the C 32 model. However, if you are able to avoid purchasing a faulty vehicle and instead find one in good condition, they may be excellent.
  12. Let's observe its maximum altitude. Meanwhile, your behaviour has a negative impact.
  13. I have never had the same model on two separate occasions. Do I consistently compare it to the original version?
  14. If I choose not to make the purchase, please refrain from reminding me about it in the future.
  15. It is possible that you may have caused harm to the clockspring during the installation process. The item, such as horns, may have sustained damage during the process of removal from the source automobile. Exercise caution if the wiring connecting to the squib is compromised, as you do not want the airbag to deploy unexpectedly. Detach the battery during the inspection process.
  16. I had the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system 'delete' performed on my 2007 OM642 engine. The business that conducted my mining operation said that the use of a plate was unnecessary (I suggest consulting your own company on its need). Additionally, they clarified that they do not entirely eliminate the plate, but rather adjust the valve opening to a minuscule percentage. I hypothesised that by doing so, the automobile maintains the belief that it still has the valve, yet the quantity of gases being recirculated is negligible.
  17. +1. Upon hearing the OP's remark of increasing RPM, it was my first response.
  18. What is the rationale for the need for a new engine? Upon leaving with £600, I would like further information beyond that. Insufficient compression? Are the bores or rings worn? What is the distance it has covered?
  19. Seek the expertise of an automotive electrician. Indeed, the presence of moisture in the dash is plausible, but its origin remains uncertain. A proficient electrician will locate it within a time frame of less than 30 minutes. If there is any observable moisture present in the vehicle, it is advisable to address the removal or reduction of such moisture simultaneously. Equipped with garments or a lengthy air-conditioned vehicle.
  20. Certainly inspect the battery. It would be advantageous if you could decipher any error codes. I had a defective Wheel Speed Sensor, resulting in a variety of apparently unconnected alerts, including ABS, Engine Fault, and the roof failing to shut. These cautions were triggered by the car's inability to accurately detect its own motion.
  21. Wow, it was effectively obstructed. Excellent work and congratulations.
