  1. All Digital Extras are included with the new car for a duration of three years, excluding the Log Book. My vehicle is equipped with Pre-Entry Climate Control, as stated in the app and handbook. However, none provides detailed instructions for setup. The vehicle was in the garage, hence reluctant to initiate the engine. I will attempt again tomorrow if it is not raining.
  2. Seeking expert advice from the Forum. Acquired a new vehicle yesterday. Digital Extras denote the inclusion of pre-entry climate control. However, attempts to activate were unsuccessful. The application allows me to select seats, but the activation and deactivation buttons are unresponsive. Is it necessary for the ignition to be on and the engine to be running to configure this? Kind regards
  3. He states that the 2022 C-class is not associated with the 3G discontinuation. The MB Me service is exhibiting erratic behaviour, as it frequently does, albeit in various manners.
  4. Indeed, I completed all necessary tasks when I replaced the thermostat, so I believe I am adequately prepared in that regard. I observed typical oil spots around the seal positions, which had been improperly installed. It appears that the new MAF required calibration in my situation.
  5. Disconnected the negative terminal for 20 minutes while replacing the fuel filter today. It is currently idling more effectively.
  6. I apologise, everyone. I did not receive notifications regarding your responses. I ultimately resolved the issue. The MAF was indeed defective. I purchased a pre-owned Y-Pipe in superior condition than mine, which included one MAF. I transferred my functional MAF to it, and it registered the accurate temperature and airflow measurements. Nonetheless, I occasionally have a minor hitch after startup. During discussions with Avantgarde in Clevedon, they indicated that the adjustments must be recalibrated for optimal performance. The issue is that I currently reside in Scotland, necessitating the search for a reputable independent establishment in Edinburgh. All nearby garages I have approached have provided a standard quotation of approximately £90 for one hour of service. It would be more advantageous for me to purchase a superior fault reader than to spend two minutes having them reset it.
  7. I have recently replaced the temperature sensor, and I am not surprised that it did not resolve the issue. I have observed that when I disconnect Sensor A, its temperature remains at 79°C whereas Sensor B decreases to 21°C. Upon disconnecting Sensor B, both temperatures stabilise at 79°C. The subsequent course of action appears to be attempting a costly MAF replacement, unless someone possesses other insights.
  8. Greetings, everyone. I am receiving many trouble codes on my 2010 E350. The initial focus is on the Air Intake Temperature sensor, which I intend to replace due to the original appearing contaminated, and the cost is sufficiently low. I was informed that the codes are associated with a defective MAF sensor. Enclosed are the codes and the real-time readings from my Maf sensors. Unplugging sensor B results in a value of 0g. Upon disconnecting Sensor A, the readout displays 166g, while Sensor B subsequently increases to 8g. I am willing to invest in a replacement MAF sensor, but I seek guidance before making any purchases.
  9. I possess Ooonos in each vehicle. They are exceptional. Similar to Waze, they depend on the user community to report and confirm the ongoing existence of cameras and risks. The number of Ooono users is lower than that of Waze, resulting in inferior coverage. They function similarly to Waze, yet they are far more audible and apparent when issuing alerts, and acknowledging or reporting cameras and hazards is facilitated by a huge, singular button.
  10. Upon acquiring my CLK 12 to 13 years ago, one of the rear tires was an inexpensive, substandard brand. Installed by the vendor to comply with the MOT requirements? The traction control indicator would often illuminate. The new Goodyear tires resolved the issue; the light is off.
  11. The SL63 AMG, while a distinct vehicle, also lacks a mechanism for securing the lift cylinders, unlike my C55 AMG. Instead, it has a tiny metal locking latch affixed to the inner section of the wing inside the lift hinge mechanism on the passenger side (RHD). It is painted the same colour as the automobile, namely black (apologies for the absence of a picture), and may be difficult to detect. One must simultaneously press the little latch with one hand while manoeuvring the bonnet, which, in my opinion, represents a regression from the latching cylinders and is quite cumbersome. Could yours be identical?
  12. I sometimes have similar sentiments about my vehicle; it would be nice to use it for over a month without encountering mechanical failures or the illumination of the engine management light. Typically minor issues that do not impede the vehicle's movement, unlike the original poster's situation; yet, they are irritating. One would assert that this is typical for a 15-year-old vehicle with 100,000 miles; however, it is not consistent with my experience. Even my earlier ALFA, which lacks a service history and has almost twice the mileage, was more dependable and had much fewer breakdowns.I have owned other vehicles with far more mileage, yet so far, the Mercedes ranks prominently on the components failure list. It is to be hoped that she is OK with being unfavorable for a while. My three previous Mercedes-Benz models (R170 SLK, 200 CLK200, and W169 A170) have shown far greater reliability.
  13. The loom modification is simple. There is no need to remove the dash. It will be one of the following: 1. The airbag 2. The contact spiral 3. The wiring modification Commence with the number three and proceed accordingly. Omit the key, and it will remain secure.
  14. I have just discovered, after the installation of Windows 11, that all my SD cards and USB devices are encrypted with BitLocker. Could this be related to the issues I am experiencing? Do I want them to be encrypted regardless?
  15. Furthermore, the situation deteriorates... While playing a music on my iPhone SE, I am unable to silence the device except by restarting it. The 'Home' button just returns to the home screen; the music continues to play regardless of my actions.
  16. Not at this moment. You choose a folder, which reveals the tunes contained therein, and then pick one to play.
  17. It presently employs folders. It is possible that my phone is partly malfunctioning due to the metadata; nonetheless, I am indifferent to the reason. I want it to function correctly, similar to the Audio 20.
  18. Both the Android head unit and Apple Music possess significant shortcomings, although for different reasons. The aforementioned technique is effective, and I have successfully migrated my music, organized in folders, to Apple Music on my iPhone. It is shown in the sequence it was loaded, which is acceptable. Nevertheless... The Android head unit is subpar, since it plays all content from the USB stick, but does it in a very disorganized manner. Apple Music is inadequate since it only accepted 1,250 songs out of around 1,750 on the same USB stick; the others were either disregarded or downloaded as separate tracks into different folders labeled 'Unknown Album'. I have not yet verified its functionality in the vehicle, but I anticipate that aspect will be satisfactory. The USB stick functioned well in an NTG2.5 COMAND; I almost regret not possessing one anymore. It works well via the Audio 20 in the C207. I am certain it can be resolved, but I lack the knowledge to do it and do not know anybody who has that expertise. I could have to use the USB stick via one of those inferior adapters that connects to the cigarette lighter. Isn't contemporary technology really impressive...
  19. Please be patient, since my knowledge is rather limited. I organize my music into folders on my Windows 10 PC, consisting of ripped CDs, all MP3 songs, and files saved to an SD card or USB stick. The Chinese Android head unit in my ML plays files from the USB stick, which are organized alphabetically; nevertheless, the head unit arranges and displays the folders in a manner that is distinctly non-alphabetical, and I am not of the criteria it employs for this ordering. I have been informed that I may circumvent the head unit by playing music from my iPhone via Carplay. Is it possible to do vital functions, and can I manage the phone via the head unit? I own the Apple Music symbol and the iTunes Store icon on my iPhone SE, but to my knowledge, I do not have iTunes itself. The head unit's Carplay has a symbol for Apple Music. Could someone please confirm the procedure for transferring my music folders to Apple Music on my iPhone? I have been informed that it can only be accomplished via iTunes; nevertheless, Google AI yields the following results: To transfer MP3 songs from your PC to the Apple Music app on your iPhone, use the Apple Devices program (or iTunes) to include the music into your PC's library and thereafter synchronize it with your iPhone. You may upload the MP3 files to iCloud Music Library by logging into the Apple Music app on your PC with your Apple ID, thereafter accessing them on your iPhone. Method 1: Utilizing the Apple Devices Application (or iTunes) This technique entails incorporating the music into your PC's collection and synchronizing it with your iPhone. Procedure for Synchronizing Music from PC to iPhone 1. Install necessary applications: Obtain and install the Apple Music and Apple Devices applications from the Microsoft Store on your PC. Launch the Apple Music application on your computer. Transfer the MP3 files from your computer's directories right into the Apple Music application's library by using drag and drop functionality. 3. Connect your iPhone: Utilize a USB-C or Lightning connector to link your iPhone to your PC. 4. Grant access: If asked, unlock your iPhone and choose "Allow" to authorize your computer for data access. Launch the Apple Devices application on your computer. Choose your iPhone from the sidebar. Choose the Music category. Select the checkbox for synchronizing music to [device name]. Select to synchronize your whole collection or certain tracks. Select Apply in the lower-right corner to initiate the synchronization. Your MP3 files will thereafter be uploaded to your iPhone and will be accessible for playback in the Apple Music application. I can adhere to their guidelines; but, one aspect concerns me. Is it possible to move whole folders into Apple Music for access, or must I upload individual tracks? If that is the case, I will be in a more detrimental position than I now am. Is there an application that can organize files for display in alphabetical order on the head unit? I need assistance; I am experiencing cerebral discomfort.
  20. Consuming double the quantity of gasoline is substantial. Is it conceivable that a fuel leak has occurred since the replacement of the injectors and fuel pump?
  21. Greetings to everyone, My recently acquired W204 has begun to activate the external lights randomly when I park and switch off the engine or lock the vehicle. Initially, it pertained to the tail lights. I then unplugged them until I could ascertain the situation, but upon returning home the next night, my fog lights were on. I activated the ignition and started the vehicle, at which point they extinguished. I then shut off the vehicle and secured it, only to have my sidelights activate. I manipulated the light switch, verified that the indicators were off, then switched off the vehicle. At that moment, just the driver's sidelight remained on, prompting me to concede defeat and secure the vehicle. It is peculiar that upon starting the automobile, all functions operate correctly and any erroneous lights extinguish. No dashboard alerts, no sporadic malfunctions. I ventured out yesterday, and the power was depleted, which I somewhat anticipated. It was left charging for a whole day and night, with the side light on continuously. The automobile was started, and the side light extinguished. Traversed the area and subsequently returned. The automobile is parked, and no lights are illuminated, but I anticipate they may malfunction again soon. Do you have any suggestions? I have heard that the light switch may be a contributing factor in some instances; but, the problems I am experiencing do not seem to correspond with that explanation. Possibly the SAM? Any assistance would be appreciated!
  22. Alternatively, the bearing may not be functioning freely as expected. Is it deployed correctly? Should it be 'them' in the plural form, or is the noise emanating from a single source?
