Imminent issue or only a malfunction?
clk320x4 replied to Craigbelont's topic in General Discussions
Would disconnecting the MAF enable you to determine whether the fault code alters? Alternatively, consider use a spray MAF cleaner. -
Have you ascertained if the compromised coating is located on the inner or outer surface of the lens? These glasses experience UV degradation on the outside, which may be remedied (see to YouTube). These are really the standard Halogen H7 lights, correct? Not High-Intensity Discharge Xenon?

Hello, I own a 2014 W205 2.2 diesel saloon with a 7G gearbox. What is the part number for the gearbox repair kit? Is Meyle a reputable brand? Additionally, do I need 8L or 10L of oil, and will I need to purchase any additional components for the ATF? Thank you for your assistance. -
I had my 2012 W212 serviced at Alex Crow on Monday; the subframe seems to be in excellent condition. I wish that were not the case, as I would love to get it changed prior to selling it! Particularly now, the vehicle has reached 208,000 miles! I was not anticipating another oil cooler leak.

If you choose to acquire an E350e, I would very enjoy being informed of the projected delivery date they provide. I placed an order for a fully equipped E350e on June 2nd, with the guarantee of delivery in late September; nevertheless, I now lack a construction date, despite the involvement of the dealership's General Manager. I selected the Driving Assistance package for my C350e as my primary choice. It is especially beneficial in stop-and-go traffic, so consider that in conjunction with automatic driving. What is your assessment of the Lexus? In 2008, I had a new GS450h Hybrid, which is the only vehicle I have owned for three years. I disposed of it because to its small boot, and the alteration of congestion pricing regulations resulted in the loss of its exemption; I sold it prior to the information being widely known.

Eliminate rust, apply chemical treatment to any residual rust, prime, and layer colour and clear lacquer till just above the surface level, then level with compound. The job should be almost imperceptible. Utilising a body shop for a stone chip seemed overkill to me. Particularly because one may get another chip the next day! Stone chips occur spontaneously and are mostly unavoidable. Regrettably, I lack a photograph of my former 209 bonnet, which had more chips than paint on the first foot, since it had spent its life on the freeway before to my acquisition! I did have it resprayed; however, none of the chips exhibited rust, remaining white or grey owing to galvanisation.

It is a faulty connection of the wheel sensor to the chassis beneath the wheel arch. Disconnect and spray generously with contact cleaning. Done -
Simply wear a mask in their presence and proceed cautiously with both wet and dry conditions. Removing the bumper off a 2004 model vehicle may result in complications.

Have rebuilt the EGR and intake manifold with little impact; now changing the PCV and will investigate the DPF sensor.
-
All replacement components are from recognised aftermarket manufacturers.
-
Having completed that, there is no observable change. I have replaced all recognised common components that might trigger the issue code. The PCV is now in progress. Are there any unusual components or circumstances that can result in an air leak? P227906

Greetings to everyone I own a high-mileage, 460,000 km W212 E250 CDI used for a chauffeur service in Australia. A few months ago, while driving home, I had a little bump followed by a loss of power, an illuminated engine management light, and a soft limp mode. I was able to drive home but had to manually shift gears. Previously, the boost hose had split, exhibiting same symptoms; thus, I assumed it was the same issue and was able to restart the vehicle without applying sufficient weight to activate limp mode. The attempt was unsuccessful, so I brought it to a mechanic, who scanned it and retrieved the MAF code and gearbox code. Cleaned the mass air flow sensor, no results; replaced it with a non-OEM Vemio sensor, still no results. To summarise, we are essentially making random adjustments, having replaced the mass airflow sensor, another intake sensor, the EGR valve and cooler, two intercooler hoses, the intake manifold and this week, the PCV cover. The vehicle idles smoothly without any discernible unusual noises. If the PCV does not resolve the issue, we are both at a loss about the source of the air leak. The new MAF has been recalibrated, so any insights or comparable resolved cases would be very appreciated. Salutations

Did you encounter the same error while using both keys? The electronic ignition switch may lead to non-start or non-crank issues; alternatively, defects in the crankshaft position sensor and camshaft sensor might be responsible, although I would expect these to generate fault codes. -
Although I have never personally had a vehicle with Recaro seats, this brand has been renowned since the 1960s. https://www.roadandtrack.com/news/a61739137/recaro-the-car-worlds-famous-seat-maker-files-for-bankruptcy/

The voltage of the alternator will remain consistent as long as the engine is operating, as previously mentioned in this discussion. A high-quality battery normally operates at a voltage of around 12.8 V. It is important to note that the battery voltage never exceeds this value. Therefore, the voltage output of your alternator would range between 13.8 V and 14.2 V. Regrettably, this does not indicate that your battery is completely charged.

Steering wheel experiencing vibrations at speeds over 55mph.

If you are satisfied with the balance of the wheels, it is possible that there is some debris trapped between the wheel flange and hub assembly. Remove the front wheels and gently use emery cloth to smooth the two surfaces that will come into contact, ensuring a flawless fit when the wheels are reattached. -
Ha ha, I was under the impression that you meant "sock" as in the slang term for a filter.
-
Socks won't filter like a real filter. Some turbos use plastic impellers, which may be damaged by tiny particles since the filtering isn't effective.
-
Is this considered a legitimate 'service item' according to Mercedes Benz? Typically, drive units of this kind are sold as a single part by dealers, without including any internal components. Typically, an innovative individual on the internet provides "home made" components to individuals who want to handle their own repairs. In some drives, such as this one, the gear made of 'plastic' is intentionally engineered to be sacrificial. It serves as the weak point that is meant to break when the mechanism is subjected to excessive stress. Without any particular relevance or connection. One of the machines I often use features a gearbox with an electrically operated overload mechanism, followed by a clutch. In the event of a malfunction, a brass pin shears off, causing the whole system to come to a relatively safe halt. On many occasions, I have arrived to the site to see that the local experts had already started dismantling the whole machine, with bits scattered around, only to realise much later that the shear pin was already broken. Men often neglect to read the instruction manual. The thread hijack has ended.

^ Europeans exhibit a high level of compliance with regulations and requirements consistently. I see several films with unsightly yellow front licence plates detracting from the appearance of your sports automobiles. In the United States, our nation was founded through acts of rebellion. We are indifferent to the legality of an exhaust modification; we will find a method to proceed with it nonetheless. Indeed, we have a greater preference for it if it is unlawful. Throughout the United States, many sports vehicles are being driven without front licence plates, despite the fact that they are legally required. If I had an OPF, I would remove it from my vehicle with such swiftness that it would vanish before you could complete the utterance of "Otto-Partikelfilter"!
-
However, is it only the exhaust valve control? Wasn't there also the implementation of particle filters (in Europe) that influenced the sound?
-
Perhaps I can uncover pertinent information in the service history that will explain the nature of each component. It seems that the previous owner had all additional features, including a garage door opener, installed. The historical document is remarkable, thus it is possible that there may be a hint included within it.
