Thank you for the responses so far. Indeed, they are definitely facelift 2012 headlights. I had to replace the hood as well. I would want to apologies for providing incorrect information. Firstly, the high beam is not functioning. I have been working on this issue during daylight, which has made it difficult to accurately establish whether the high or low beam is turned on. Furthermore, tonight, after keeping the side lights (C-Lights) on for an extended period, I saw one of them extinguish, then promptly reignite, followed by the second light exhibiting the same behaviour. Does this imply that I must install a capacitor in order to rectify this problem? The user mentioned "DSM 10000." The wiring is not compatible, and I was not anticipating a 'Plug and Play' solution. However, I am now attempting to determine how to make it function, even if I have to replicate a LIM signal, for instance, to activate the high beam. I am seeking guidance on how the high beam is regulated and what specific signal is required.

Greetings, To the best of my knowledge, the headlight assembly consists of just four lights: a Xenon Headlamp, a Side Light, a Corner Illumination, and an Indicator. All of these lights are functioning properly, indicating that there are no problems with the ballasts. I am seeking a solution for controlling the shutter motor that regulates the intensity of light emitted by the Xenon Headlamp, specifically for switching between high and low beam settings. The shutter seems to be in a fixed open position, resulting in the headlights being always in high beam mode. However, the shutter should be closed to enable dipped headlights and only opened for high beam. You stated coding, but, to my knowledge, cars manufactured in 2008 are equipped with CAN Bus, whereas vehicles produced in 2012 are equipped with LIN Bus. I have just discovered that pin 2 on the facelifted (2012) headlamp serves as the LIN Bus connection. The connection between pins 2 and 11 on the facelift headlamp remains unestablished due to uncertainty over the appropriate components to which they should be attached. Assistance of any kind would be much valued and acknowledged. Thank you.

Greetings, esteemed sources of wisdom. I am now in the process of installing C250 AMG W204 (2012) Coupe Diesel FACELIFT headlights onto a PRE-FACELIFT C63 W204 (2008) 4 Door vehicle. Unfortunately, I have encountered an issue with the dipped beam function, which remains non-functional. I kindly want your assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you. Both automobiles use a 14-pin connection, however the C63 utilises 10 pins (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10), whereas the C250 uses just 9 pins (1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, and 11). I have successfully linked 7 wires (marked in red) and achieved functionality with the exception of the dipped beam. (WIRING for a 2008 Pre-Facelift 4-Door C63 with W204 Chassis) The user is referring to the headlight of a 2012 facelift model of the C250 W204 Chassis Coupe. Pin 1 - CAN Low is not connected (unknown reason). Insert a pin. Pin 2 - CAN High is not connected (unknown reason). Provide the precise location or identify the exact point on a map. Pin 3 is designated for the side light, sometimes known as the C-Light. The user is now engaged in employment or another kind of productive activity. Pin 4 is designated as Side Light 2 and is normally closed (N/C). Pin 5 is connected to Ground 1. 6 - Xenon Headlamp Pin 6 is functioning properly and is connected to a Xenon Headlamp. Pin 7 corresponds to the high beam function. Pin 8 activates the corner illumination feature, which is designed to turn on when the high beam is engaged. The user is now engaged in employment or another kind of productive activity. Pin 8 functions as an indicator, and Pin 1 also functions as an indicator, and both are now working. Connect pin 9 to provide a 12V power supply to the electronics of the headlight unit. Connect pin 9 to provide a 12V power supply to the electronics of the headlight unit. Pin 10 is connected to Ground 2. The following pins are occupied on the C63 Headlight: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. Pins 11, 12, 13, and 14 are not utilised. In all, there are 10 pins in use. The following pins are occupied on the C250 Headlight: 2, 11, 3, 5, 6, 8, 1, 9, and 10. Pins 4, 7, 12, 13, and 14 are not utilised. In all, there are 9 pins in use. I have two remaining connections on the headlight, namely pins 2 and 11, but I am unable to activate the dipped beam. (Whenever I activate the headlights, they immediately go to the high beam setting). To the best of my knowledge, there is a motorised shutter that is somehow regulated to cover the xenon headlight bulb for dipped beam. However, the shutter is designed to only open up for high beam. What is the reason for the constant open position of the shutter? What methods may I use to exert control over it?

Nor did I. -
I wouldn't reject a newer model only for that reason. Obtaining exhaust valve controllers is a very simple task, costing just a few hundred dollars. These controllers allow you to effortlessly open the valve to your desired extent.

Although I am an Android user and not an iPhone user, it seems that you have successfully resolved the issue of pairing Bluetooth devices. It seems that you are correctly using the appropriate auxiliary input for the Bovee. Another conspicuous factor to consider would be the status of the connections. Have they all been properly connected?

Issue with C63 W204 vehicle's drivetrain

I recommend postponing the use of the servicing kit until you have verified the oil level. I would also ensure that you thoroughly examine the trouble codes by using a diagnostic tool capable of reading all the gearbox codes comprehensively. Possibly due to insufficient oil, however there seems to be an issue with the MCT (torque converter replacement) in my opinion. -
Your battery is severely depleted. Require a replacement. Noco manufactures jump start packs. That should be sufficient to transport you to the mechanics and restore functionality for future use. Alternatively, if you possess rudimentary equipment and abilities, you may replace the battery on your own. There are instructional guides available on this platform.

There is a danger associated with the top-down approach that someone or a bird may inadvertently drop something into your automobile. Top up refers to the potential danger of someone infiltrating your roof. Owning a Spyder might be challenging, but the experience of driving with the top down and hearing the powerful V10 engine makes it very rewarding.

The gearbox failure is not caused by the horsepower, but rather by the torque. All gearbox models have a maximum limit, which is generally indicated in the model number. My Alfa box is named F40 because to its capability to withstand 400 Newton metres of torque. In contrast, the lower version uses the M32 box, which has a maximum limit of 320 Newton metres. None of the gearbox or gearbox models I have come across have a maximum horsepower rating, since horsepower is just a measure of the rate at which torque is generated. I am certain that by entering the model number of your gearbox in the Googlathon, you will quickly discover its maximum torque handling capability. -
126 SEC - Inquiry about rust removal and repainting

keithmerc220- Your perspective is valid and well articulated. Many 'paint companies' would prefer to just accept payment for routine accident repair paint jobs rather than engage in a complex and iterative spray job on a meticulous individual's 20-year-old cherished possession. -

It would be challenging to find someone who can match any shade of silver hue.I own three automobiles that are silver in colour. Some time ago, I made inquiries about the rust problems and other imperfections on my 'Iridium silver' C55 AMG. However, none of the individuals I talked to were willing to guarantee a satisfactory colour match for a 17-year-old silver vehicle. -
Apologies for the perhaps foolish inquiry, but is it possible to fold down the back seats in the A207?

It is possible that dropping it caused something to become loose. Can you compare the two without causing any damage to the one that is functioning properly? -

I am uncertain if the plastic end block has a functional component for the key. Hopefully, someone else may provide the missing information. -

To what extent is it damaged... Is it possible to replace the internal components of a used key? -
I removed the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system from my previous Audi 1.9tdi only for the purpose of assessing its condition. I was astounded by the complete obstruction, a single massive formation of carbon that was completely immobilised. It may have been completely blocked off. The car performed really well and consistently passed the emissions test with flying colours. The tester even acknowledged the impressively low results. Therefore, I doubt the extent to which they really have an impact. Although I thoroughly cleaned it, I did not see any noticeable change afterwards. I am certain that Volkswagen has compensated for any harmful emissions resulting from individual blocked EGR valves via their extensive scandal involving diesel emissions from their cheating device. I would engage in any activity that brings you a sense of joy and satisfaction.

Many individuals choose to remove or erase it due to the many problems it causes. (Whether justified or not) I somewhat see why individuals would feel that way, but I myself have not and will not. The emissions would not be significantly altered, and the removal of the EGR system would not result in any fatalities.
