Everything is satisfactory here. Is your foot on the brake?
-
While they vary slightly, you should find a settings option or a similar feature within your Aftermarket box; I anticipate it will be included there.

If your aftermarket head unit is compatible with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, it should have been equipped with a wireless antenna upon installation. They additionally possess a USB port for updates and wired AA connectivity. Disregard the automobile USB that serves solely to charge your phone. A WiFi dongle is unnecessary if your head unit is equipped with WiFi, as this may complicate matters further. My phone successfully connects via Bluetooth to both the car (RR Evoque) and the aftermarket head unit simultaneously without issue. Wireless AA necessitates the utilisation of Bluetooth for initial discovery, and pairing is required when prompted. When AA on your phone detects a wireless head unit, it thereafter attempts to connect to the WiFi automatically. To activate wireless Android Auto on your phone, you must enable it in the developer options.

To utilise the Aftermarket box for wireless Android Auto, first pair your phone with the box via Bluetooth. Subsequently, it will automatically connect to the Aftermarket box's Wi-Fi, launching and connecting Android Auto without the need for manual Wi-Fi connection. Upon the initiation of the AA menu screen, you will have the freedom to proceed as desired. If you are able to reach that stage but cannot initiate an application such as Spotify or Google Maps, I recommend verifying that the permissions on your phone permit autostart; otherwise, the application will function when manually activated, but Android Auto will be unable to launch it autonomously.

I appreciate your insights; they are very beneficial in alleviating my concerns and assisting me in the choice to retain our vehicle.I would consider exchanging it for an M340i one day, only to appreciate the amazing B58 engine.

I apologise if this topic has been already addressed, but having had an exceptional M340D Touring for the last two years, I am becoming concerned that our low yearly mileage may lead to future problems. My wife mostly operates the vehicle, doing a daily round journey of around 8 miles to her business, with occasional longer excursions on weekends, resulting in an annual total of 6,000 miles. This week, during the 30,000-mile service at BMW, I expressed my concerns about the DPF/EGR, only to receive contradictory opinions: the service manager indicated that short journeys are detrimental to the vehicle, while the technician who performed the service reassured me that modern diesel engines do not present significant issues. I am becoming increasingly perplexed and would value any sincere feedback to guide me on whether I should consider exchanging my car for an M340i, which, while not the worst option, may not match the versatility and torque of my current vehicle that we truly appreciate.

Deregister the former owner's ID from Mercedes Me.

I attempted to contact MB directly to request the removal of my data from the account, but they refused and informed me that I had do it myself. It is noteworthy that the vehicle is overdue for a Mercedes service; nonetheless, it is much more significant that the engine's coolant level is low. -
Divest from electric vehicles and revert to diesel?
Motoman replied to bvlenci's topic in General Discussions
Envision The recent plug-in hybrid battery has been enhanced. The battery range of the earlier 30e model is commendable initially; but, after a few years, users report a decline to about 15 to 20 miles. It seems to be a recurring issue with the battery charge whenever you use the vehicle. Will you not get fatigued with using the charging cable? I have never owned an electric vehicle, but I have experienced a friend's Polestar and was pleasantly surprised by its comfort, quietness, and enough performance. I am not an advocate of hybrids due to their limited battery range and increased potential for malfunctions. It is either an electric vehicle or a petrol vehicle for me; I do not like hybrids. I have never had a diesel vehicle, since I only do short journeys. My two cents. -

What is the length of the wheel nut thread?

What is the length of the wheel nut thread?
Motoman replied to Motoman's topic in General Discussions
Thank you, but it pertains to normal wheels.Any regular wheels. I positioned the disc on the rear of the wheel and inserted a 40mm threaded bolt, which protrudes by barely 8mm. The 26 - 28mm threaded bolts would not pass through the disk. Consequently, it will not secure into the hub.As it will be too brief. 26-28mm bolts are compatible with the space saving wheel, but not with the alloy wheel. -
Is there anybody who can provide the correct thread length for an A209 equipped with AMG wheels? Upon initial purchase of the vehicle, the rear was equipped with M12 1.5 radius bolts with a 40mm thread and spacers of 3mm (about). The front components used 10mm spacers and 45mm tapered bolts. I have inserted a 40mm radius bolt through the wheel with the disc positioned at the rear (without a spacer) and measured the extent of thread protrusion. It measures 8 millimeters. I have quantified the thickness of the hub. The measurement is 10mm, albeit the last few millimeters lack any threading. If the bolts extend completely through the hub, any length beyond 55mm will interfere with the parking brake. It seems that a 40mm thread may be the appropriate size. 8mm seems minimal; yet, at 15mm, there is contact with the hold-down springs. Is anybody aware whether M12 1.5 radius bolts with a 40mm thread conform to the normal size for AMG wheels? If not, what ought they to be?

I think A34311120218 is the accurate component number.

Remarkable! Consistently cherish familial heritage. I reside on the west coast in Ayrshire.

I suppose you are also in Scotland, given the presence of the Saltire flag.

Navigate to the status page and tap the circle in the upper right corner to forcibly reload the application. Connect does not update data upon opening to avoid potential difficulties with the 12V battery, since it requires waking the vehicle to get data. The status page displays the date and time of the latest update under your vehicle.

Risks of Purchasing Used Rather Than New
Motoman replied to ForumGuru's topic in General Discussions
In what manner? The interest rates for new and used vehicles are typically comparable, unless a promotional rate is offered for new cars. Since borrowing money incurs costs (there is no such thing as a 0% interest rate), the associated charges will diminish the profit margin of the vehicle, resulting in reduced flexibility for the dealer regarding the pricing of new cars. Considering the significant depreciation of new vehicles currently and the superior worth of cars aged 18 to 36 months in comparison to new ones, I would not contemplate purchasing a new car at this time. Moreover, the majority of new automobiles are subpar. Therefore, purchasing a new vehicle is not more economical. If you are referring about employing one through a PCP, the financial benefits may be minimal; but, I cannot envision it being more economical, much less "significantly cheaper." -
Thank you, I will proceed with that. Should I measure to the wheel arch? Garages may be quite frustrating.
-
Thank you. I observe that...

I had a wheel alignment performed after the replacement of a front bearing; nevertheless, I see that the camber has not been changed, and some corrective measures, such as Toe In and Toe Out, are not accurately within specifications.

Are there valet services available in Surrey?

The establishment I visited had positive reviews on DW, seemed to be a "Forum Supporter," and included a description on their website detailing extensive repair performed on a 968 coupe the prior year. I visited before to reserving the automobile with him and still incurred significant financial losses and trouble to rectify the situation. Buyer beware - emphatically!!
