The radiator typically contains an ATF hear exchanger. However, ATF is reddish-brown and smells unique.
-
Getting a picture is pretty difficult. It's leaving rainbow patches on wet tarmac, so it's definitely not coolant. It appears too advanced to be ATF. In essence, it's leaking onto the front under the tray and then spilling on the floor every now and again. Basically, it's right behind the radiator.
-
A sump seal? Could you upload a picture? Are you positive it's engine oil and not ATF or coolant?

For a long, there were very few problems, but now there is an oil leak. recently reached 58k, but there is some oil leaking from the engine's bottom end. My engine is fine, however Google first indicated that camshaft position sensor leaks are rather typical for this engine (and potentially destructive to the ECU). Do you have any suspicions about this specific engine? Thank you!

There is a chain of timing. However, I would see to it that the tensioner belt is replaced when necessary. All service intervals are listed in the handbook, not the service book. Invoices for work done outside of Kia or a service book with stamped services are required. Then, as you lack the necessary documentation, you are unable to make any warranty claims.
-
I recently purchased a car with 65,000 miles and no prior timing belt issues. When I called Perry's Kia dealer, they informed me that the interval is 190k. This is difficult for me to believe, and my responses have been contradictory. Does anyone know for sure if it has a chain or a belt (dry or wet)? Regards in advance. Mild hybrid Kia Sportage 1.6 diesel GT Line S.

I cannot recall the precise process I employed, but this was the note I made upon acquiring the vehicle: There are two Toyota applications available on the App Store, and the required one is the black MyToyota app. MyT application - finalise vehicle registration procedure - scan QR code/registration number/VIN to establish account - associate facial recognition/link profile to key - connect multimedia device - refer to Manual pages 50-56 ✅ Multimedia - Registration System ✅ -
On my Pixel 9, I merely require Bluetooth to be activated for recognition by the vehicle's infotainment system to log me in.

I encounter no difficulty after adhering to the basic setup instructions; both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth must be enabled, and my iPhone connects and pairs effortlessly each time. 🤷♂️ -
Mine exhibits identical behaviour. 😩👍

My 2024 C-HR PHEV displays the identical (or comparable) screen upon each startup. I have cancelled it, as I have previously registered the vehicle with the MyToyota App, which provides complete remote capabilities, including trip recording and GPS tracking. After completing the setup process (which required providing approval through the app or the MyToyota website), I am periodically prompted by my vehicle to establish a personalised driving profile. I have not done so at this moment as I am the sole driver. It is a PHEV in Design Trim; therefore, it lacks electric seats with memory settings, which is why I have not pursued it. This may explain why the screen above consistently appears each time I start the vehicle. I must navigate through that screen and an additional warning screen on cautious usage while driving before accessing the functions of the Multimedia Display.

Yes, it is your My Toyota account. Have you installed the smartphone application and connected your phone to the vehicle via Bluetooth?

Why do I consistently get this issue every time I start the car? I have reset everything.
-
I previously examined that. They perform excellently in Middle Eastern countries, but are unsuitable for UK weather conditions.
-
There are solar chargers, although I am uncertain of their efficacy.
