ForumGuru
Acquired a new 2024 Venza LE on Friday, September 20, 2024. It has been driven around 100 kilometres. What mileage should we anticipate throughout the break-in period, and what actual miles are other forum members reporting? The current display indicates about 32 mpg, which is below my expectations; nonetheless, all components are secure and intact, so... We own a 2017 Prius Prime, which is said to get an estimated 52 mpg; yet, we just completed a 500-mile round trip to the mountains, averaging 62 mpg without any plug-in recharging. Drawing on my experience with the Prius, I anticipate achieving fuel efficiency above 40 mpg with the Venza once it is fully acclimated. I saw a post on the Venza in which the author described it as "McDonald's caviar." I see this car as a Rav4 adorned in formal attire. He may even be named Tux. PixelMaster
My Venza is almost two years old, and the readout consistently ranges between 43 and 46; nonetheless, I question its accuracy.
WordSmith
My Venza has around 9,000 kilometres and an overall fuel efficiency of 39 MPG. Approximately 4,000 of the miles consist of vehicle excursions at interstate speeds over 70 MPH. Other significant factors include your geographical location (flatland vs mountainous terrain), climatic conditions (I reside in Michigan, characterised by frigid winters and sweltering summers), and driving behaviour (aggressive acceleration?). I use precise figures for miles driven (odometer readings) and gallons dispensed at the pump. I see that the reported MPG is around 5% higher than the real figure (i.e., around 41 MPG compared to 39 MPG).

jennycarlotta
We have over 16,000 on our 2021 model in Hawaii, and the average consistently registers at a minimum of 44.6 according to the computer.
ianwh4
This is a statistical history of around 500 Venzas' actual miles per gallon as recorded by owners.

drummer
My 2024 model is now on its first tank, having travelled 400 miles on the odometer; I will refuel this week. The average I see is 46.3. Thus, fresh and tight is not guaranteed. I am 85% urban across the 400 miles. I operate my vehicle with great caution. I registered at Fuely, where one may see a wide array of drivers and experiences. Ensure you narrow it down to '24 or, at the very least, '24 and '23. I see no justification for anybody to achieve less than 42 in mixed life.
