For those who have installed non-original exhaust systems

Recommended Posts

What did you do with your original equipment manufacturer (OEM) exhaust? I chose to retain my original equipment manufacturer (OEM) components, anticipating the possibility of selling the R8 in the future and having the flexibility to restore it to its original condition. However, after I completed the installation procedure, I found it difficult to see myself being willing to invest the time and effort required to do the task, or to incur the expense of hiring a professional to do it. In addition, the Kline Inconel exhaust is not too noisy, so it is unlikely that the future owner will choose the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) exhaust over it. The item is occupying precious space in my garage, and I am contemplating either disposing of it or attempting to sell it. Has there been a significant rate of success in selling the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) exhaust, or is it not a profitable endeavour?

If this were my vehicle, I would package the original exhaust and retain it. Subsequently, should I ever engage in the sale of the automobile, I would provide the subsequent owner with the previous exhaust system, in the event that they need it for any particular purpose.
However, I do not have any issues with storage space in my residence. I own two lofts inside my garage that provide enough storage space spanning hundreds of square feet.

Retain it. When you decide to sell the vehicle, be sure to replace the aftermarket exhaust with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) exhaust and sell the Kline exhaust system separately.

I have available space in my garage and have retained the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) exhaust, which is in excellent shape. Subsequently, upon my sale of the item, the subsequent possessor will also be entitled to get it. However, I will not exchange the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) exhaust for such exhaust systems. If they so like, they have the capability to do the task independently. However, I am perplexed as to why they would prefer the OEM exhaust over the superior B Rogue Built titanium exhaust, which is quite impressive.

Retain it. I have seen automobiles being sold on platforms such as BaT that are equipped with modified exhaust systems. A common inquiry that arises is if the original exhaust system is still available. Although the customer may not intend to wear it, the availability of the choice is appealing. Furthermore, losing a sale due to it would be really undesirable, but it is rather simple to retain it and prevent such a situation.
