Dude, just swap out the buttons. You won't be using them very much, and they seem so cheap in comparison to the rest of the car. -
Salutations, tous, Does anyone have any recommendations for high-quality metal buttons that can replace the ones that came before the facelift? Unfortunately, most of the ones I've seen are made of plastic. Also, I am strictly seeking do-it-yourself options. At £800+, I'm not buying one of those gorgeous steering wheel adaptations! Instant win.

My 1.4 Fiesta no longer has a terrible idle after I filled up with E5 petrol. Using the higher octane has made my engine run more smoothly at any speed.

I can locate these on Autodoc. Is this the optimal site for placing these orders, or do you recommend an alternative website? ECP, Halfords, and similar retailers offer a restricted selection of brands.

What is the cost of a complete set of front and rear discs and pads from BMW?
-
Greetings to all, I seek your feedback on which brakes to select. I need to replace the brake pads and will also attend to the discs concurrently. Which brand do you suggest? I wish to circumvent Pagid and similar brands from ECP, since I am aware of their subpar quality.

I monitored the discussion until its conclusion to ascertain whether anyone proposed the water pump. Several years ago, my son's Galaxy exhibited same symptoms, prompting a local garage to attempt several solutions, similar to your approach, until I proposed that the water pump might have experienced a failure of the vanes from its plastic impeller. They initially dismissed my assertions, yet subsequently acknowledged my accuracy.

At least they are aware of the issue, and it is being addressed. 👍

It appears you are referring to Brake Hold. It secures your brakes when you halt. I was referring to the parking brake. On your 22 model, the parking brake should engage when shifted into park and release when shifted into drive or reverse. You must configure it to perform this action, or alternatively, you can execute it manually using the parking brake button.
-
I am uncertain; my vehicle is configured to automatically disengage when I select drive or reverse. I engage the parking brake by pressing P after I have parked. It autonomously removes it. While it may not pertain to your concerns, it is a thought that occurred to me. It is hoped that the dealer has resolved your issue satisfactorily.
-
A brief press of the button is sufficient to start the car, provided the brake pedal is depressed. I presume that is not your concern, but it is worth noting nonetheless. Is the parking brake configured to disengage automatically upon gear selection, or must it be disengaged manually? My device does this function automatically, although my previous generation had the option for either automatic or manual operation; I presume the second generation is similar. I am merely sharing some considerations; I hope it is a swift resolution once your return to the dealer.

Thank you for all your replies. I should have examined the instructions more thoroughly, since they are sealed systems and individual bulbs cannot be changed. I was rather indulged by my prior vehicle. The illumination is adequate on standard routes, but not very effective on narrow alleys.
-
Indeed, accurate! I need to have examined the instructions more thoroughly prior to contemplating this. I will have to tolerate lights that are not as luminous as I want in the lanes. I suppose I was somewhat indulged by the arc lights on my Subaru.
-
This option is unavailable on the Soul, at least on my model. Thank you for the recommendation. There is no mention in the handbook, however they may be self-leveling, similar to my last vehicle (Subaru).
-
Thank you. I had been seeking that information!

My 2021 Soul FE (EV) is equipped with LED headlights; nevertheless, being in a remote area devoid of lighting diminishes its effectiveness. Has anybody replaced their LED headlights with third-party alternatives? I am examining a product that claims to be 9/10 Canbus compliant. Prior to investing a substantial amount of money, I am inquiring whether others have undertaken this and if you have had any data-related issues. Salutations

I own a 2010 Mercedes-Benz E350 with a 3.0 V6 engine. It is scheduled for the MOT on Tuesday after being unused for about 18 months. The wipers are inoperative because the vehicle detects that the bonnet is ajar, as indicated by an open bonnet notification. Does anybody understand the reason behind this? I must arrange it promptly since the MOT is scheduled on Tuesday. Thank you
