Motoman
The Sportage GT Line S HEV for the year 2023. When utilising the trip computer in driving information mode, I used to drive and make intermittent stops throughout the day for various purposes such as pick-ups, drop-offs, and coffee breaks. As long as my stops did not exceed 4 hours at any given time, the trip computer would display the accumulated information for the entire day. Currently, if I stop and resume the vehicle, even after a minute, the information is being reset to zero each time. This is not desirable, as it should retain the prior information. I would want to know how to restore it to function with the 4-hour option. Please refer to the handbook for further information. Display of driving information This display provides trip distance (1), average fuel efficiency (2), and total driving time (3) data once each ignition cycle. Fuel economy is determined by calculating the distance a vehicle has travelled once it has exceeded 300 metres. The Driving Information will be reset four hours after the ignition has been off. Therefore, if the car ignition is activated within a time frame of 4 hours, the data will not be cleared. Pressing the "OK" button for a duration of 1 second or more after the Driving Information is shown will result in the reset of the shown information. Information will be gathered as long as the engine is running, regardless of whether the vehicle is in motion or not.
PixelMaster
My device has consistently reset every time it starts, followed by a reset after each refuelling, and finally, it keeps track of the cumulative amount since it was first used.

TDudette
"Point of order"... not from its inception, but since its reset. If you choose that display and initiate a reset by tapping the "OK" button, it will reset.
ForumGuru
"Out of Order" refers to the first word in my post. Indeed, it is possible to manually reset any of these three displays if desired. For the final three autos, numbered 22, 23, and 24, the information is the same as what I posted.
BEERMAN
I suggest examining the settings, as there may be a potential for modification. Alternatively, it may have been modified in a recent update.
Motoman
I believe you may be correct on the modification in the update.
jimmy47785
This is one of my few issues with the Sportage, especially because I own an Audi that also exhibits this behaviour. Furthermore, might it be considered excessive to request the inclusion of an average speed estimate on the display?
WordSmith
If you need your collected data from the day, you may reset the cumulative value by pressing and holding the [OK] button. Indeed, acquiring the automobile will result in the forfeiture of your accumulated total. However, if you have a genuine need for the daily amount, it may serve as a temporary solution.
