  1. Maintain fresh batteries in the keys and annually alternate with the spare key to avoid loss of programming, since reprogramming at the dealership may be costly.
  2. Posting in the head unit/navigation topic may get a more favourable answer.
  3. Apple Music lacks the idea of folders. It will associate songs into albums based on the metadata present in the files during the ripping process. From your head unit or mobile device, just choose a track, artist, album, playlist, etc., and it will begin playing. You will not choose a folder like you would with a USB drive. iTunes is required on your Windows laptop or desktop to transfer them to your phone or to the cloud. You may either download from the cloud to your phone or stream directly.
  4. Utilize the interior door unlock button or switch.Occasionally, I am unable to open the tailgate or fuel flap of my automobile from the outside without doing this action.Could be effective?
  5. I extend my condolences over your father. Indeed, you are correct; one cannot take possessions after death. Therefore, use resources wisely and get pleasure from them. Remember to include photographs.
  6. My device reverts to the previous display 99.99% of the time.
  7. Uncommon? It is exceedingly uncommon to see a vehicle with such a deteriorated interior at "only" 140,000 kilometres. Has he housed dogs or chickens in it? A comprehensive interior refurbishment will significantly increase the cost of the vehicle. For individuals concerned about such matters, the MOT history is very inconsistent; it has passed in most years, albeit frequently accompanied by numerous recommendations.
  8. Thank you once again. Regrettably, it exhibits the same behaviour in sport mode. I will search for a scanner. Does attaching a scanner in any way void the warranty?
  9. Thank you for your response. It is intriguing that you reference the DCT. It seems as if the gearbox or clutch is unable to comprehend the situation, becoming entangled in confusion. I needed to research the definition of an OBD, since I do not own access to one. Are the inexpensive options of satisfactory quality? What may it reveal to me? Are you referring to fault codes?
  10. Greetings, everyone. I have an unusual situation. It does not occur consistently and never when I bring it to Kia. 1 Initiate vehicle ignition from a cold state (after overnight cessation). Allow the vehicle to warm up. Achieve around 40 mph. Depress the accelerator firmly. The vehicle downshifts, engine revs increase, nevertheless the automobile fails to accelerate, with rpm oscillating between around 250 and 500 RPM. 5. Release the accelerator and wait for 2-3 seconds. Depress the accelerator firmly once more The vehicle accelerates as expected. Subsequently, the vehicle operates normally. Even after deactivating the engine and allowing the vehicle to cool for many hours. This issue seems to occur only when the vehicle is started from a cold state, such as overnight or during very frigid weather, and consistently manifests during the first firm use of the accelerator. It has been examined, but no issues were identified. Ironically, the last time I engaged it (yesterday), when I departed from the garage and accelerated rapidly, it occurred. It had been frigid for many hours. Exhale. The only alternative I see is to leave the vehicle with Kia overnight. To ensure it is chilly for their testing. Nevertheless, it does not occur consistently. Enquired if it was only an idiosyncrasy of the vehicle. It has shown this behaviour since new (I purchased it at 1,700 miles - ex-demonstration). Has anybody else experienced this?
  11. I have tested high-quality FLAC tracks on USB, nevertheless the harshness remains, although I am on the newest head unit/system firmware from August of this year. I have an upcoming appointment with a vehicle audio professional and will respond with their diagnosis and proposed remedy. I hope it will just include new drivers and not the head unit.
  12. Greetings, I just purchased a 21-plate e-Niro 4+ (MY20). The vehicle is excellent, with outstanding efficiency, and I really appreciate it. Regrettably, I find the integrated audio unimpressive. When playing high-quality FLAC files or connected via Apple CarPlay, vocalists seem thin, and female vocals produce excessive sibilance. The same applies to the DAB radio as well. I have attempted to alleviate this in three manners: 1 - Reduced treble by -3, increased mid by +1, and similarly elevated bass by +1. Adjusted the audio two notches rearward to diminish emphasis on the front tweeters. Folded a black microfiber towel into four sections and positioned it over the dashboard tweeters, leaving the central one uncovered. None of the aforementioned solutions is optimal or effectively addresses the problem. Is it possible to resolve this by replacing the speaker drivers, or is the problem with the head unit? If the issue may be rectified by the replacement of speaker driver units, might someone suggest suitable alternatives and a UK-based business capable of doing this task? I appreciate your assistance in advance.
  13. If I do not use premium diesel fuel (such as V Power), I include 50ml of Archoil AR6900 with each refuelling. I have not had any issues; however, I monitor the DPF soot level and do extended drives (over 90 miles in around 2 hours) once a month.
  14. Rooting the MCU2 is quite difficult and requires physical access. Your optimal course of action is to direct message LayZ, since he is the expert in this domain. There may be a method to modify some gateway configurations, however I have been informed that it is only feasible for pre-2020 MCU2s. Furthermore, Full Self-Driving (FSD) is now accessible for MCU1, so it may be feasible to install and activate it; however, I am uncertain. It is new information to me that it is disabled for salvage vehicles, which could pertain to European regulations.
  15. Approximately 1,000 is only designated for high-voltage inspection and service centre reactivation, unrelated to full self-driving. Thank you for the information regarding the UK.
  16. Perhaps the UK is unique. That discussion does not reference salvage vehicles. Is your assertion pertaining to salvage autos specifically or to all vehicles in general?
  17. 1) Continuously, after examination, they will reactivate it (or allow it via root access, which you likely own). False 3) False. They will not work on any high-voltage components until a separate inspection is conducted. However, various mechanical and 12V systems are permissible. Inspection costs vary by area, but $1,000 seems reasonable (you did purchase a less expensive vehicle by acquiring a salvage title, correct? Thus, it is a little expense). Upgrading to MCU2 will result in the loss of the SC 'hack' presently in place, necessitating an examination.
  18. I have traversed the same section of freeway in a recent model Corolla hybrid without encountering the troubles I am now facing. The tires, produced in April of the previous year in Turkey, may have been improperly stored, perhaps resulting in flat spotting. I will attempt to persuade the dealer to replace the tires with a different brand, produced more recently and sourced from another nation, and observe the outcome. I will document the findings after this has transpired.
  19. It is a 1.8-liter hybrid. In New Zealand, the Limited model ranks as the second most expensive variant of this vehicle, while the GR model is the most costly. The primary distinctions between the two are that the Limited lacks the greater horsepower 2-liter engine but has a glass roof.
  20. The tire pressure is within specifications, and the wheels have been balanced. I test drove two of the dealer's demonstration vehicles, and they had identical flaws. The term "bouncing" may be misleading; it would be more correct to state that the car(s) exhibit a little vibration between 90-110 km/hr. The tires were manufactured around 1.5 years ago, which may indicate improper storage resulting in a flat area. The tires are Bridgestone Turanza. Similarly, the other vehicles I have evaluated possess tires that were produced concurrently, all in Turkey. From your statement, I infer that your automobile does not experience this problem.
  21. Has anybody seen these new models exhibiting a tiny bounce when driving on a smooth road at speeds between 90 and 100 km/h? Which deteriorate with increased velocities. Identical for all models regardless of their tires.
  22. By removing the oil filler cap, you may determine if the noise is originating from within or outside the source.
  23. Initially, I attempted to use their services, but promptly received a message instructing me to contact them, maybe due to the fact that the vehicle is already insured via their company. I appreciate your guidance on Compare the Market as well.
