  1. Thank you, I will conduct some preliminary checks tomorrow and will reach out if I encounter difficulties.
  2. Could this be a grounding problem?
  3. I was anticipating your visit. I shared the same opinion; however, he assessed the battery, which indicated it was functioning properly, and it also failed to jump-start from his pack or the van. I had previously experienced alternator problems that resulted in unusual electrical troubles; yet, he reiterated that the jump start should have initiated the engine. I am enquiring whether there are any unusual minor features that could lead to these symptoms.
  4. Greetings everyone, This is my inaugural post here. Yesterday, my 2016 Clubman SD stalled and is now inoperative. While driving to work as usual, without any prior indications, the collision system indicated a malfunction, subsequently followed by a defect in the stability control system. At this juncture, the vehicle decelerated progressively and the engine ceased operation. The RAC retrieved my vehicle but indicated that their system displayed numerous errors, primarily related to communication issues. I am seeking suggestions for initial steps and plan to schedule an appointment with a small specialist for diagnostic purposes; nonetheless, I am curious if there are prevalent issues similar to this one. Thank you.
  5. I own this feature on my 2025 GLE; it functions effectively and I utilise it most mornings. Heated seats, steering wheel, and overall heating activated. Vehicle prepared for performance.
  6. Yeah, all complete. Mine came with the V5C, service book, full MOT, and even a copy of the HPI clearance. Only had one key, but that’s fairly common with repos. Everything else was spot on.
  7. Bought a 2021 BMW 520d M Sport from them in September. Same process full payment into their segregated client account first. Got an email confirmation from their accounts team the same day, which settled my nerves a bit. Delivery to London took 8 days. Car arrived spotless with all the documents V5C, MOT, service records, even a finance release note. Took it to my local garage after a few days everything checked out. Bit of a gamble at first, but turned out fine for me.
  8. If you require photographs of the dashcam placements and the cable installation routes, please inform me, and I will endeavour to obtain them as the weather permits.
  9. I have installed front and rear dashcams on my current MY26, as well as my previous MY20 and MY23 Evoques without issue. I have also integrated a Cellnet Neo7 battery for the dashcams, which receives power solely from the ignition to charge the battery and operate the dashcams while the engine is running; the battery supplies power to the dashcams when parked. I found the battery in the trunk and established a power connection using a fuse tap from the rear fuse box power socket fuse. After supplying power to the battery, I routed a cable beneath the vehicle's trim to the front dashcam on one side, and then connected a coaxial wire from the front dashcam to the rear dashcam on the opposite side of the vehicle. The installation of the dashcams and the concealment of the cords required around one and a half hours; it was a straightforward task. I have never encountered an issue with the electronic systems in any of my Evoques. I acquired the Cellnet Neo because, prior to owning my first Evoque, I connected the dashcams directly to the fuse box for both parking and driving modes in a Volvo XC60, which resulted in numerous issues until I purchased a dedicated battery. Since then, I have solely relied on this battery to power the dashcams.
  10. I would refrain from acquiring a smoking M157 engine. Worn bearings, piston rings, or oil seals in the turbocharger may be present. My recommendation is to seek one that is not emitting smoke. An inexpensive AMG does not exist. If anything is undervalued, there is an inherent issue with it. Typically costly. AMG, which denotes All Money Gone, is not an inaccurate representation if one acquires a defective model.
  11. Maintain fresh batteries in the keys and annually alternate with the spare key to avoid loss of programming, since reprogramming at the dealership may be costly.
  12. Posting in the head unit/navigation topic may get a more favourable answer.
  13. Apple Music lacks the idea of folders. It will associate songs into albums based on the metadata present in the files during the ripping process. From your head unit or mobile device, just choose a track, artist, album, playlist, etc., and it will begin playing. You will not choose a folder like you would with a USB drive. iTunes is required on your Windows laptop or desktop to transfer them to your phone or to the cloud. You may either download from the cloud to your phone or stream directly.
  14. Utilize the interior door unlock button or switch.Occasionally, I am unable to open the tailgate or fuel flap of my automobile from the outside without doing this action.Could be effective?
  15. I extend my condolences over your father. Indeed, you are correct; one cannot take possessions after death. Therefore, use resources wisely and get pleasure from them. Remember to include photographs.
  16. My device reverts to the previous display 99.99% of the time.
  17. Uncommon? It is exceedingly uncommon to see a vehicle with such a deteriorated interior at "only" 140,000 kilometres. Has he housed dogs or chickens in it? A comprehensive interior refurbishment will significantly increase the cost of the vehicle. For individuals concerned about such matters, the MOT history is very inconsistent; it has passed in most years, albeit frequently accompanied by numerous recommendations.
  18. Thank you once again. Regrettably, it exhibits the same behaviour in sport mode. I will search for a scanner. Does attaching a scanner in any way void the warranty?
  19. Thank you for your response. It is intriguing that you reference the DCT. It seems as if the gearbox or clutch is unable to comprehend the situation, becoming entangled in confusion. I needed to research the definition of an OBD, since I do not own access to one. Are the inexpensive options of satisfactory quality? What may it reveal to me? Are you referring to fault codes?
  20. Greetings, everyone. I have an unusual situation. It does not occur consistently and never when I bring it to Kia. 1 Initiate vehicle ignition from a cold state (after overnight cessation). Allow the vehicle to warm up. Achieve around 40 mph. Depress the accelerator firmly. The vehicle downshifts, engine revs increase, nevertheless the automobile fails to accelerate, with rpm oscillating between around 250 and 500 RPM. 5. Release the accelerator and wait for 2-3 seconds. Depress the accelerator firmly once more The vehicle accelerates as expected. Subsequently, the vehicle operates normally. Even after deactivating the engine and allowing the vehicle to cool for many hours. This issue seems to occur only when the vehicle is started from a cold state, such as overnight or during very frigid weather, and consistently manifests during the first firm use of the accelerator. It has been examined, but no issues were identified. Ironically, the last time I engaged it (yesterday), when I departed from the garage and accelerated rapidly, it occurred. It had been frigid for many hours. Exhale. The only alternative I see is to leave the vehicle with Kia overnight. To ensure it is chilly for their testing. Nevertheless, it does not occur consistently. Enquired if it was only an idiosyncrasy of the vehicle. It has shown this behaviour since new (I purchased it at 1,700 miles - ex-demonstration). Has anybody else experienced this?
  21. I have tested high-quality FLAC tracks on USB, nevertheless the harshness remains, although I am on the newest head unit/system firmware from August of this year. I have an upcoming appointment with a vehicle audio professional and will respond with their diagnosis and proposed remedy. I hope it will just include new drivers and not the head unit.
  22. Greetings, I just purchased a 21-plate e-Niro 4+ (MY20). The vehicle is excellent, with outstanding efficiency, and I really appreciate it. Regrettably, I find the integrated audio unimpressive. When playing high-quality FLAC files or connected via Apple CarPlay, vocalists seem thin, and female vocals produce excessive sibilance. The same applies to the DAB radio as well. I have attempted to alleviate this in three manners: 1 - Reduced treble by -3, increased mid by +1, and similarly elevated bass by +1. Adjusted the audio two notches rearward to diminish emphasis on the front tweeters. Folded a black microfiber towel into four sections and positioned it over the dashboard tweeters, leaving the central one uncovered. None of the aforementioned solutions is optimal or effectively addresses the problem. Is it possible to resolve this by replacing the speaker drivers, or is the problem with the head unit? If the issue may be rectified by the replacement of speaker driver units, might someone suggest suitable alternatives and a UK-based business capable of doing this task? I appreciate your assistance in advance.
