The harmonic balancer/crank pulley tool is the W211 E55 AMG M113K.

I have received a response from the seller stating that this is a tool used to secure the rear subframe, rather than the M113K engine. I will verify the component number of WIS when returning home, but, I can locate several web references that confirm this to be the accurate part number. -

Acceptable! That seems to be encouraging. Do you have any prior encounters with this seller? It may be worthwhile to check the pricing of the tool offered by Mercedes. -

Based on the provided information, it may be inferred that the tool in question is designed for use with 1.6/1.8l engines. -
The crank pulley tool on my E55 is exhibiting signs of separation. I want to independently address this issue; but, in order to do so efficiently, I need a Mercedes 'crank holder tool'. Is there anybody who would be willing to sell or rent one to me in order for me to accomplish this? The component in question is 230 589 00 40 00, which is a product manufactured by Bosch. Regrettably, I am unable to locate an aftermarket variant, despite the abundance of options available for 1.8l engines that have resemblance but are inoperable. Greetings

There are a few MB Indi establishments in close proximity to your location, and I would recommend visiting one of them. If you do a search on the forum, you will see them mentioned.

4 Doors SD4. Appreciated the appearance of an authentic Range Rover. In a concise manner.

I have seen that my GLE experiences the same issue. I am certain that the cause of this problem is the fob in my pocket exerting pressure on coins or any other objects present in my pocket. It seems that my partner never has this issue when she uses the vehicle. I am curious whether it is possible to reprogram the key fobs using a star.

Assistance needed with financial predicament

In my opinion, a crankshaft breather should be there. It seems like someone has blocked it off, perhaps thinking it would help with oil consumption or oil deposit problems on the intake valves. The Prince engine has an issue with oil consumption due to oil passing the oil control rings. Blocking the breather will not solve this issue. However, installing a 'catch can' may assist reduce oil deposits on the intake valves. Replacing the oil control rings will ultimately resolve the oil consumption problem common in all Prince engines. -

After realising that the plug is located on the ECU side of the engine, I would inspect the camshaft sensors, oil pressure switch, thermostat, thermostat valve (beneath the thermostat housing), and MAF (positioned on the side of the intake manifold). -

Which side of the car? Camchain or thermostat housing side? You may trace the connection by following the colour pair on a wiring schematic using the available colours. -
For complete information. The phone is the latest model of the Google Pixel Fold.

I believe I have resolved it. Accessing the settings menu on the H7 device removed all Bluetooth options and then re-enabled them. Everything failed. System reset performed, no improvement seen. The phone detects the car, and the car detects the phone, yet the phone is not authorised. I opened the Android Apps on my phone, expecting that my Command feature wouldn't work. However, after connecting the phone to the vehicle with a USB cable, the handsfree option started working. Phone is now successfully linked and functioning.

I have followed your instructions but the devices are still not connecting. I will continue to persevere.

That was my first action. There were a total of 5 cell phones on it.

I attempted to connect my new Google Android phone with the W212 Command system. The phone and the automobile have mutual visibility, but the car will not provide authorization to the phone. I suspect that the phone may be either too new or using an incompatible Bluetooth version. After checking Google and doing all system checks, the connection issue persists. Seeking guidance

Sanitising interior buttons with delicate surfaces
guyskin replied to Geek2232's topic in General Discussions
Purchase Chemical Guys Nonsense All-Purpose Cleaner (APC) or Inner Clean, both very effective for cleaning car interiors, along with cotton buds and a few microfiber cloths. Unless you excessively apply spray over switches, it will be difficult for you to do any damage. Inner Clean is equipped with UV protection, making it suitable for use on dashboards and similar surfaces. On Youtube, you can often see individuals vigorously cleaning and brushing the innards of objects with APC (All-Purpose Cleaner). Although I myself would not go to such lengths, this practice appears to be rather prevalent, so I believe you will not do any damage, OP. 🙂 -
What was your progress or outcome?

I am not aware of that. I had an issue with my own. I attempted to open the bonnet, but due to a malfunctioning latch, the cable was unable to properly tighten. WD40 is used as a solution to the problem. The issue was resolved within 30 seconds and has remained problem-free for many months. 👍🏻
-
One straightforward and simple solution to consider is applying WD40 to the two bonnet catches.

Registering your phone to the vehicle and connecting it to Kia Connect should resolve the issue.
