  1. I am unable to locate the area where I may manually enter the data. What is perplexing me is that it is acknowledged for yearly maintenance.
  2. When I input my car registration on EMaC to access Kia Care, I get the message, "We are unable to find your vehicle. Please attempt again or get in touch with your dealer." However, I discovered this during my inspection for yearly maintenance. Today, I contacted the service department of the nearby Kia dealership. They achieved identical outcomes until they accessed an other platform. Do you have any hypotheses as to the possible reasons behind this? Additionally, the cost of yearly maintenance for the first 3 years online is £146 for the first year, £222 for the second year, and £146 for the third year. The first year's servicing provided by the Kia dealer costs £210, which is 66% more.
  3. Seems questionable given the price. As previously said, it is advisable to do an HPI check on the automobile. Additionally, it would be beneficial to get the assistance of an individual knowledgeable in C63s to inspect the vehicle.
  4. Do you want one for each hand, Mistral? 🙂
  5. The top component is a temperature sensor, while the bottom component is a wax thermostat. The fan should not be turned on until the temperature reaches 108 degrees. It should be set to stage one before reaching 112 degrees, at which point stage two generally activates. However, with the present software, the fan should be set to stage one at 108.75 degrees.
  6. I was quite irritated by the fact that they informed me that I had to go to Audi for this service, since I had first anticipated it being carried out in my own living room. 😛
  7. Interestingly, during my conversation with the service representative, she made a remark about checking for any outstanding recalls on my behalf. - Initially, I was inclined to decline, but due to my familiarity with my service adviser, I will just bring it up with him. Success!
  8. Although I have reservations about the practicalities and I am generally averse to leave the vehicle alone, it is always gratifying to get everything renewed for the spring season.
  9. Although there isn't anything noteworthy to mention, I will nevertheless provide a brief description, even if it may not be significant enough to warrant a detailed discussion. I anticipate that this will be a more extensive servicing, and I am also included the addition of a new battery and new tyres. Who doesn't like adding new items to their vehicle? The battery seems to be in good condition based on my observation. However, considering that it has been in use for over a decade, I believe it is prudent to replace it before it reaches the point of spontaneous failure. I am quite amazed by its durability over such a long period of time. The tyres still have a satisfactory amount of tread remaining, but it is now necessary to replace them. I have decided to choose for PS4s once again. I will also ensure that they do a thorough examination. The expiration of my extended warranty is scheduled for August of this year. I am now deliberating whether or not to get another one. The vehicle has been quite reliable, but there have been a few minor issues (mostly related to sensors that temporarily malfunction at the start of the driving season, but resolve themselves after one or two drives). I will probably request them to provide a pricing quote for another coverage just for the sake of it.
  10. The problems encountered include microblistering and lacquer flaking. It seems that the only solution is to completely repaint the vehicle's exterior, known as a bare-metal respray. At one point, Mercedes-Benz used to bear the expenses for this procedure. Uncertain about their current practices. To get information on paint issues with Mercedes Fire Opal Red, just search for 'Mercedes Fire Opal Red paint difficulties' on Google. You will find several results.
  11. I have not come across any reports about problems with the Designo Hyacinth Red Metallic colour, and our 2016 C-Class vehicle does not exhibit any paint-related concerns. We personally saw micro-blistering on a 2015 C-Class Coupe that was around 18 months old. Have you considered acquiring a blue one?
  12. Actually, it will be conducted using the WLTP test cycle. Although the distance may be over 550 kilometres on a cold and rainy night, there are not many individuals who drive longer distances without stopping under such circumstances in reality. There may be exceptions when an internal combustion engine (ICE) powered automobile would be the clear and appropriate choice. There are several expeditions that are not characterised by being wet, cold, and dark, yet will result in a distance far more proximate to 800 km. Undoubtedly, there will be those who drive even longer distances without taking breaks, as there always been.
  13. Apologies if my question has been previously addressed, but despite my efforts to search, I have been unable to locate the solution. I have scheduled an appointment on Thursday to have my 2011 C250 CDI undergo a remap, during which I have chosen to have the EGR function deactivated in the vehicle's software. I would want to know whether this modification alone would sufficiently disable the EGR system, or if, similar to my past non-Mercedes vehicles, I will also need to install a blanking plate or totally disconnect the valve. The engine of my vehicle is the OM651. Thank you in advance
  14. However, it must be acknowledged that the middle van has a visually appealing appearance. The appearance is significantly compromised due to the destruction of the rear windows, resulting in a complete disruption of the car's lines. Merely my viewpoint. Out of the six estate vehicles I have had, none of them have had the rears tinted, which is a visually unappealing appearance. However, everybody has their own perspective. Please note that the SWMBO old Zafira has rear tints, but it is naturally unattractive, making it challenging to make it seem even more unattractive.
  15. Attempting to circumvent the drilling of the subfloor in order to avert any rust problems in the future.
  16. Indeed, the plastic nut has been removed, and I have also seen the detachment of the stud, which is the metal component that protrudes from the floor.
  17. Greetings, everyone. I am experiencing a bothersome sound under my vehicle. Upon inspecting the area beneath, I first believed it was a loose heat shield. However, I have since determined that one of the plastic undertray studs has fractured. Can a replacement be obtained? If the repair has to be done, the optimal course of action is to grind or flap the disc flat, use JB weld to secure it, and then apply an undercoat to cover it. This process concludes the repair. Are there any individuals who own the component number for the stud and plastic nut? Researched extensively but was unable to locate it. Thank you very much
  18. Thank you very much! I will attempt this over the weekend 🙂
