  1. I am now faced with a moral quandary and would really appreciate several perspectives on the matter. I have been in possession of my 718 Spyder for a duration of two years at now. It is remarkable how swiftly time elapses. The current juncture necessitates a decision about the retention of the vehicle, either by fulfilling the balloon payment or by engaging in its sale. The progress made so far has been rather straightforward. I have not extensively used the automobile for many reasons, mostly due to my wife's dissatisfaction with its firmness and noise levels. The vehicle in question has a mileage of only 2300 kilometers, and furthermore retains the protective covering on its audio, which is intended to be removed upon acquisition. One vehicle that I often use is my Macan GTS automobile. Over the course of the last year, I have embarked on two separate journeys to Italy, and I am now making preparations for a third excursion scheduled to take place in the coming months. Undoubtedly, this vehicle stands as the most exceptional automobile I have ever had. The vehicle exhibits a high level of speed and athleticism while yet providing a satisfactory level of comfort. This automobile is well regarded by my spouse. I have been granted a reservation for the production of a Macan vehicle, with a designated time frame of many months. I have successfully constructed the automobile inside the configurator platform. The Macan specification I want is reflective of my own aspirations. However, I am unable to provide a valid justification for retaining both vehicles, since it is not feasible for me to maintain the Spyder while acquiring the new Macan. However, I hardly use the Spyder vehicle, and I own the 911 model in my garage that I seldom employ. I had briefly contemplated the possibility of selling the 911; nevertheless, I immediately recognized that I would experience acute remorse if I were to go with such a decision. I seldom use the Spyder and much less often do I employ the 911. However, each instance in which I operate the Spyder serves as a catalyst for my renewed affection for it. The aesthetic appeal of the subject matter is quite notable. There are other alternatives available. I recommend retaining both the Spyder and the contemporary Macan, since the latter is a fantastic vehicle. The automobile manufactured in 2016 has a very advanced set of features. I propose the sale of the Spyder in favor of acquiring the New Macan GTS, a decision that would undoubtedly provide satisfaction. However, it is important to acknowledge the anticipated feeling of nostalgia that may arise from parting with the Spyder. The mere contemplation of seeing my Spyder positioned at the showroom upon my arrival to get my new GTS would evoke a sense of distress. It is recommended to sell the Porsche 911 and retain ownership of the Porsche Spyder, while concurrently placing an order for the acquisition of a new Porsche Macan. Furthermore, it is quite unlikely that such an event would occur. What does option 4 entail? Is there a singular entity or phenomenon that can be identified in this context? Please observe this automobile. The subject of discussion has an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
  2. My E-Type now has Vredesteins (along with fresh SS Dayton wires). They fit perfectly.
  3. So began "the dumbest channel on all of YouTube," aka Hoovie's garage. To compensate for his lack of technical knowledge, he would go out and purchase the automobile that no one else would consider. Now, his writing is completely different. As a side note, he already had some "spare change" in his pocket when he launched his channel.
  4. As you say. These horrible items, I'm going to suppose, were always aimed for a niche market located far to the east of Germany.
  5. Tyler Hoover has his vintage Maybach fixed for free under warranty and is given a brand new model from the year 2023. It seems to reason that the 'bounce' technology used to free the vehicle from a hole is targeted towards customers who could otherwise become stranded on sand dunes.
  6. The locals here have little exposure to vehicles like yours.

  8. The silver coating is flaking off, which is annoying. It's possible that the pieces weren't clean when they were sprayed, in which case you can sand them down and re-coat them with silver.
  9. (Owner's manual) Use a moist, lint-free cloth, such as a microfiber cloth, to wipe off the wooden trim and trim pieces. For stubborn stains, Mercedes-Benz suggests using only official auto maintenance solutions.
  10. After you brought it up and after I did some research, it seems that it might be the one responsible for the problem. I had the map removed the week before last, and I've been in touch with MSL to try to schedule an appointment for it so that they can potentially map it correctly for me. I am grateful for your response.
  11. Good day to everyone - I'm new around here, so if you could possibly be patient with me? I have recently purchased a 2017 C43 estate, and given the success I had mapping my previous C220d, I wanted to try the same thing with my new car. To begin, I got a stage 1 remap from Celtic tuning, and I have to say that, in terms of performance, I was quite happy indeed with both the throttle responsiveness and the overall performance increases. After playing it for a few weeks and getting accustomed to it, I began playing it more quickly and in manual mode, and that's when I spotted a huge problem... so here we go! as I was in Sport+ and using the manual transmission, I would give it a vigorous acceleration through the gears, and the car would take off. However, as I would get into 5th gear at roughly 4100 rpm and 94 miles per hour, the engine would lose power and not go much further than that. If you shift into sixth gear, it will continue to behave the same way, i.e. it will stay at roughly 3600 rpm and will not increase any more. In the beginning, it would only do it when set to manual or Sport+ mode, but as time went on, it began doing it even when it was set to automatic, although to a lesser extent. Then, just very lately, it began to do it in the Sport and manual modes, but not in the automatic mode. There was no impact on any of the other engine modes, either manual or automatic. In an effort to find a solution to this problem, I contacted Celtic, and together we attempted the following: Remove the map from its case and reload it into the vehicle. Nothing changed despite using it in a variety of weather situations and at various stages of driving, such as after a short run, a medium run, a long run, and so on. Tested the configurations using the individual mode. Nothing I tried worked, and the problem persisted even after I removed the map, so I decided to test whether the vehicle itself would be the cause of the problem. However, the car is operating normally in all of its modes and settings. Celtic said that it is a frequently used map, but they have never had any problems with it. Since I purchased the super unleaded gasoline in September of last year, I have used it exclusively ever since, so that explanation is out of the question. Has anybody come across this before, or has any idea what it may be?
  12. In spite of the fact that I had some misgivings about them in the past, I believe that at this time I would choose GAD.
  13. I have a 200tdi, and once they're fixed up, they're pretty rare. Rebuilt at 200,000 miles, and the frames were still pretty good, taking everything into account.
  14. As previously stated, the 200tdi is the superior engine in the long run. For potency, the TD5 is superior to the 200tdi, but it will require greater maintenance. Both are positive and negative. A matter of course.
  15. The advice to "get one that fits comfortably" is among the best of the aforementioned remarks. It is really beneficial to try them on first. The only other recommendation is to look for one with a detachable lining since these can simply be removed, cleaned, and replaced when they start to smell. If everything else fails, invest in a fireproof baclava, which is another fire defense that is clearly simple to clean.
  16. In my experience, this is the case the vast majority of the time. It is unfortunate because the consumer ultimately endures. A vx220 that had been "stage mapped" by a specialist was, to put it mildly, abominable. I'll have to check to see if I have the graph from when we had it on the rollers; it is, to say the least, amusing. Boost was scattered everywhere.
  17. As a general rule, if a map contains the word "stage," it is not a decent map.
