V8 Coolant System for the 2017 Range Rover
br1anuk replied to QuirkEinstein's topic in General Discussions
Effectively, the intercooler circuit is on its own. In this case, it is displayed inverted. The intercooler pump is connected to the top hose, while the two smaller hoses extend from the intercoolers. It is essentially its own circuit, with the exception of a little branch off the radiator hose, that is only connected to aid in filling and bleeding. -
I am following this thread closely as I have been looking at a 2019 BMW 320d they have listed on Gumtree. The price is very competitive compared to dealers near me in Glasgow. My only concern is buying without physically seeing it first. Has anyone here actually visited their premises in Belfast before committing?

Upon my purchase, all data from the prior owner (the dealership) had been erased by the dealership. I had to establish everything from the beginning. If your dealership claims they lack the knowledge to perform the task, I recommend returning to them and asserting that their statement is unfounded.

A wheel's bearings bearing? -
The vehicle appears to initiate operation on the second or third attempt, necessitating the removal of the key each time. Voltage measures 12.33 volts with the vehicle off and 14.79 volts when the vehicle is operational.

This evening, I attempted to use the automobile again. Initially, it failed to start, but upon subsequent attempts, it successfully started. What might be occurring? Refer to the accompanying video.

I measured the battery voltage, which was 11.6 volts. The car was jump-started and functioned properly. Measured the voltage at 14.4V, indicating the alternator is functioning properly; nevertheless, the battery is not retaining the charge. Installed a new battery; the vehicle started and operated without issue throughout the day. I parked the vehicle and left it overnight, but when I attempted to start it this morning to go out, it would not start again. Any recommendations?

During the recent cold snap, the vehicle failed to start. The RAC arrived, disconnected and then reconnected the battery, after which the vehicle started without issue. Inspected both the battery and alternator, confirming that both are functioning properly. Left the vehicle idle for around five minutes. The following day, I attempted to start the car, but it failed to start once more. I assume the battery may be the issue, but could someone share their experiences before I invest in a new one?

Kia Picanto 2020 challenging ignition - immobiliser malfunction

My sole consideration is to return it to the individual who "repaired" it. -
The thermostat is malfunctioning and requires replacement.

Some time ago, I encountered a similar issue and resolved it by deleting my surfing history and cache from the preceding month, which restored normalcy. However, this was related to a browser notification rather than an influx of emails. Best of luck.

This issue frequently recurs on this Forum, and utilising the 'Search Community' tool will provide numerous discussions from previous years. I recall that the most persuasive argument came from a retired member of a major refinery, who stated that premium fuels contain additives introduced during the refining process, whereas supermarket fuels consist of inferior byproducts. It was noted that diesel engines may reportedly operate on cooking oil. My only knowledge is that during the initial years of our prior Evoque, I utilised retail fuel, and in 2019, I encountered a 'DPF full' problem that required a forced regeneration. Subsequently, I utilised premium fuel (first BP Ultimate, followed by Shell V-Power) and have encountered no additional issues. Given that I only drive approximately 3,000 miles annually, I consider the additional operating expenses to be a reasonable compromise.

A low mileage does not inherently indicate superior condition; it may reflect numerous short trips, potentially utilising worse grocery fuel. Additionally, a full service history merely signifies adherence to the necessary biennial servicing, during which the oil may have gradually deteriorated. Users of Diesel Ingenium on the Forum opt for annual oil and filter changes between services and either utilise premium fuel or additives to potentially enhance engine combustion efficiency. I possess my second diesel Ingenium Evoque and will undoubtedly opt for a third if they still available at that time. I believe it is an excellent unit with substantial torque; nonetheless, it requires proper maintenance.

I submitted several bids on BCA, which ultimately sold for 22.5k, inclusive of commission. I believe that is inexpensive, even if the repair costs several thousand dollars. It was an enjoyable experience; I am somewhat disappointed that I did not win, but it may be for the best. I am uncertain about your opinion.

Hello, I am considering an S63 AMG coupe; however, it is emitting smoke from the engine. It has only 50,000 miles and possesses a full manufacturer service history. The oil level is slightly low; do you have any recommendations, considering it is currently more affordable than normal due to the aforementioned factors?

I accumulated just 6,000 miles annually in my 640d. As long as one undertakes a 20-minute drive sometimes, my journeys often lasted 20 to 30 minutes three times a week, supplemented by other short excursions. The vehicle remained in optimal condition, as I consistently monitored its status via diagnostics.

It resembles a nightmarish version of Christine. Regrettably, she is unable to reconstruct herself.
