Identifying Problems with My C63

Recommended Posts

I have developed a strong affection for my friend's C63, since he is involved in the business of selling cars. He has had several inquiries for it, but he said that if I can get the necessary funds, he would reserve it for me for a few of weeks.

He is capable of doing a P\X transaction, but the price offered is significantly low. Therefore, he intends to sell the automobile to "We Buy Any Car" if he is unable to get the necessary funds promptly, since they are offering a reasonable price for the vehicle.

Before I get into this matter, what are the primary concerns that I should be cautious of? The automobile is priced attractively, therefore I want to ensure that there are no suspicious activities involved.

Thank you.

If the merchant is your friend, then there should not be any suspicious activity taking on.
I had my vehicle for a duration of one year, during which I encountered two instances of damaged alloy wheels, each measuring 19 inches in diameter. One of the front fog lamps has malfunctioned, and the vehicle has been using a significant amount of gasoline. If you are an enthusiast of automobiles, it is certainly worth considering owning.

While I wouldn't go as far as calling him a close friend, I do consider him a decent acquaintance. We have purchased family automobiles from him in the past. However, I just want to ensure that the price he is offering is not unrealistically low. I have a strong affinity for my S-Class vehicle, but it does not align with my own identity. I am in need of a more powerful and formidable automobile. I should not have heeded my wife's advice and purchased it first.

What is the colour? Are there any further items or options available? Can you provide information about the service history?

It seems to be a good deal so far...

The price of £17,500 is the most affordable I have come across. There is no need for contemplation, as long as the vehicle has a clear Hpi report. However, it is possible that it may have been classified as a category D, as previously mentioned.

If you have enough money to spend, I recommend purchasing the vehicle and using it often. However, be prepared to replace the rear tyres every 5,000 to 6,000 miles, which will cost roughly £350 for a pair. Additionally, expect a fuel efficiency of around 15-20 miles per gallon, maybe even lower initially if you are unable to drive the car in a sensible manner, unless your wife is with you.

To clarify Recently, I inspected a C63 with 70,000 miles on an 08 model. I was interested in it since it was the least expensive non CAT D vehicle listed on the market, priced at £20,950.

The film was really disappointing and the motor was producing a banging sound due to a leaky exhaust. Upon my inquiry, the vendor assured me that he would have it inspected.

The item was promptly withdrawn from online sales and subsequently surfaced at another retailer in Northern Ireland.

I examined a few crude ones. A sum of £17500 would not be sufficient to purchase a substantial amount, since it falls even below the trading value.

If something seems too favourable, it is likely to be deceptive or misleading.

On one occasion, I informed a friend that I had come across a Ferrari that was within my financial means, maybe a 348 model.
His advise was astute - if you lack the financial means to operate a new one, you certainly lack the financial means to operate a low-cost one!

However, it is impossible to predict with certainty.

Seems questionable given the price. As previously said, it is advisable to do an HPI check on the automobile. Additionally, it would be beneficial to get the assistance of an individual knowledgeable in C63s to inspect the vehicle.
