Modern keys hold personalised configuration data, such as radio, display, and seat settings (depending on the model). I believe it does not save any further information. Some models have the option to designate a key as a 'valet' key, which restricts the speed and radio level when it is used.

Typically, I only utilise a single key.

Optimal 20-inch wheel and tyre specifications for a Gen1
WiseSage replied to Trevorseaf's topic in General Discussions
I have conducted research since I am also currently in the market. Both the options of 20x11 ET30-35 or 20x12 ET42 seem to be favourable. The fitment of the tyre will be contingent upon its specifications. I want to use 20x11 wheels with an offset of ET30 and install them with 325/25/20 tyres, if they are compatible. -
The quality is exceptional, indicating a high level of craftsmanship. I really like using the s-tronic in manual mode, and these enhancements have further enriched my experience. I made a purchase with Europrice, however, the products were manufactured and sent from Belgium. I had previously seen these on a topic here and was intrigued by the concept of their preserving the original paddles. Extremely satisfied with these and a beneficial enhancement.

Indeed, I own both Sirius and the compatibility for Apple Carplay as well as Android Auto. All tasks are really efficient. The sound quality is excellent thanks to the OE B &O speakers and amplifier. I have had it for around 7-10 days, therefore I am currently in the process of familiarising myself with all the menu and possibilities. I am an enthusiast of Samsung devices, but my daughter prefers Apple products, and she effortlessly changes between the two. I previously used the Bovee dongle, which was OK, albeit it sometimes had glitches but was generally acceptable. This is much superior. The appearance is quite satisfactory, just as I desired. In addition, my vehicle originally lacked parking sensors and a camera. However, I had cameras installed that seamlessly blend in with the car's design. These cameras will be invaluable in preventing parking-related damages in the future. I have just used my mobile device on a few occasions, but the audio quality seems to be satisfactory and distinct.

I have just added the Maestro/Alpine head unit combination and a Eurozone carbon/leather steering wheel with matching stitching on my 2014 Samoa R8. In addition, I installed carbon extenders on the paddles. These items are quite pleasant to use and have an impressive appearance. I delayed the installation of the head unit since my vehicle did not come with any parking assistance, so I also included cameras. I should have completed the task sooner. I am quite satisfied with both of the improvements.

If the merchant is your friend, then there should not be any suspicious activity taking on. I had my vehicle for a duration of one year, during which I encountered two instances of damaged alloy wheels, each measuring 19 inches in diameter. One of the front fog lamps has malfunctioned, and the vehicle has been using a significant amount of gasoline. If you are an enthusiast of automobiles, it is certainly worth considering owning.

There will no longer be any MOT certificates.

Indeed, the veracity of this statement is confirmed by Matt, a used vehicle salesman at High Peak Autos, on his YouTube channel. He affirms that this applies to all automobiles, even those he purchases for his dealership. -

I am uncertain whether it is exactly the same, but I believe there have been reports indicating a significant increase in the number of automobiles that are not paying taxes since the removal of the tax disc. -

Immaculate 560 SEC with just 69,000 miles.

The ageing of automobile owners, the implementation of ULEZ in and around London, the retirement of mechanics, the rising costs of restoration, the absence of Bluetooth/Satnav/CarPlay in older cars, and the affordability of newer models like the c215 or C216 have become significant concerns for individuals. Hallelujah! -
Thank you for the excellent background information. It was quite useful.

Thank you, I will examine it.

Greetings, everyone. I now own a W205 C63, which I have had for about three years, and I am interested in acquiring a stage one remap. I often encounter a firm named Litchfield in Tewkesbury, which is located around 1.5 hours away from my current location. Alternatively, there is another establishment mentioned in a previous discussion called MSL, situated in Birmingham, which is little over 2 hours away. I am considering going to Litchfield and I am curious if anybody has firsthand experience with getting a remap done there. Thank you in advance

I use dental floss to sever the glue on the emblem, followed by the application of tar remover to eliminate the residual stickiness.

The lubricant used for the R-tronic gearbox.
WiseSage replied to PixelMaster's topic in General Discussions
Upon purchasing my vehicle two years ago, I promptly replaced all lubricants, including the gearbox fluid. The condition of the oil at 87,000 km was subpar. I want to maintain a gearbox oil replacement frequency of 5 years. Straightforward task.
