  1. I have not received the Coolwalk update yet, despite being on the most recent version of AA. We must exercise patience and wait.
  2. Thank you for the advice. I was unaware that hitting the Music button on the console would change the applications. That is ok to me 🙂
  3. Upon opening my Android Auto screen, the primary display is occupied by Google Maps, while the secondary display, positioned to the left of the screen, has the Music player. Every time, I have to go to the right side of the screen and choose the music player as the primary display in order to reverse the placement. Is there a method to choose the default placement? I am unable to locate it in any location.
  4. Fascinating, that is pleasing to learn. Whenever I park, I consistently raise the top to prevent the formation of wrinkles, since I am concerned about their appearance. It is likely that this is another one of those misconceptions about automobiles.
  5. Most likely not, since you have previously acknowledged that someone has tampered with the BeCM and altered it, making yours not a reliable representation.
  6. Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery does not reset anything other for requiring you to reconfigure the windows and sunroof. If the vehicle is immobilised, it remains immobilised. What actions did you take that resulted in its first immobilisation? The typical reason is engaging the lock using the fob and disengaging it using the key, which then requires entering the Emergency Key Access (EKA). If the keyswitch in the driver's door latch has failed, and you have locked and unlocked the door using the key, the system will only detect a signal from the CDL switch. Consequently, it will assume that you have broken the window and opened the door by pushing up the sill locking button. If the vehicle was initially programmed with an Electronic Key Authorization (EKA) and someone has subsequently deactivated it in the Body Electronic Control Module (BeCM), the EKA is still required for its operation, but it may not prompt you to enter it.
  7. If you are interested in taking a vacation to Essex, I recommend trying out these options. Car Body Repair services are provided by Kraftwork Vehicle Refinishing in Chelmsford. The work they performed on our son's silver 1999 V70 was exceptional. It is impossible to see any evidence of mending.

  9. Upon doing a brief search on Google, you may discover that you are granted a period of six months to address any defects or issues that may arise.
  10. Did you experience any water infiltration prior to relensing them?
  11. Does the car have GT specifications with steel brakes and callipers? There is something present at that location. It was believed that all of them were equipped with the Carbon Ceramic Brakes (CCB).
  12. Given that the alarm did not sound, it may be inferred that your wife remained still. Alternatively, is there an issue with the alarm? I wanted to provide my opinion on this matter.
  13. Prices seem to fluctuate. In January, I paid £29.68 for Start rescue, which provided the same level of coverage.
  14. The non-conforming glass causes my OCD to twitch. A little darker shade is OK, but the black material is problematic....no.
  15. I successfully installed an authentic clutch pedal sensor (£28) without requiring any relearning, and everything seemed to be functioning well. Anticipating a period of trouble-free driving
  16. Discovered this item, which did not seem to be originally installed by the manufacturer. Additionally, both ends of the shrink tube junction had previously been secured by someone else, perhaps due to a similar problem. They replaced the wire with unknown connections and wires, since several connections and two different coloured wires were detected. This was not satisfactory. In summary, I removed the part and replaced the wire with the appropriate shrink connectors, electrical tape, and cloth tape for a polished appearance. The car now starts without any problems. However, a new issue has arisen where a message appears asking to depress the clutch. This is a new occurrence that has not happened before. After a few attempts, the car starts. It seems that the clutch pedal sensor is malfunctioning and has to be replaced. Once the replacement is done, the system will need to be relearned. Afterward, I will take the car on a drive to initiate a forced regeneration process. May this information be of use to anyone facing a similar problem. I will provide an update if the issue is totally resolved or if any further problems arise. I hope for a positive outcome.
  17. I will do the task and provide updates. Thank you, my friend.
  18. Greetings, br1anuk. The mechanic has been occupied with work in the last several days, so little progress has been made so far. If the automobile starts OK when power is directly sent to the starter with the ignition on, but does not turn over by itself, it is possible that the starter is faulty, or there may be an issue with the wiring to the starter or the grounding. However, all the relays are functioning properly. Require a thorough diagnosis for it, using Opcom and perhaps further procedures based on online research. However, the other technician is now on vacation till November, indicating that the vehicle is not experiencing significant issues. We will thoroughly verify everything later today when he arrives shortly after 2pm, including the first steps. If we get any outcomes, I will inform you. Thank you for your assistance. Exasperating.
  19. Good evening everyone, I hope you are all in good health. I have just had the Insignia A 2011 Elite ecoflex ss for 2 months, and it has not been a satisfactory experience so far. After a few days, I received a service vehicle soon message and my car finally entered limp mode. I decided to take it for a drive on the highway when the dashboard displayed a message to keep driving. This action eventually resolved the problem, but the service vehicle soon message continued to show without the vehicle entering limp mode again. Performed a diagnostic using a Snap-on kit and identified a faulty DPF sensor. Replaced the sensor and conducted the necessary calibration. The vehicle operated smoothly afterwards, however, the "service vehicle soon" warning continued to appear when decelerating, but disappeared when accelerating. Shortly before my planned trip to Devon, the vehicle entered limp mode, despite a 40-mile motorway journey with no improvement. Conducted a diagnostic test and identified a defect with the brake pedal sensor. Replaced the faulty sensor, but the vehicle remained in limp mode. Due to time constraints, left the car overnight. Upon returning the next morning to do more testing, the car failed to start, despite the battery being in good condition. This is an unusual occurrence. The ignition lights are functioning, however upon attempting to start the vehicle, the ignition lights turn out and there is no engine crank. Examined all pertinent relays and cables that were visible and conducted tests on all grounding connections, all of which seemed to be in satisfactory condition. We activated the ignition and applied the probe to the starter, causing it to immediately start. This has left us feeling perplexed. Is it possible that the problem lies in a defective ignition system, immobiliser, poor grounding, faulty wiring to the starter, or a malfunction in the CAN bus? The sole diagnostic fault that was identified was related to the Body Control Module (BCM), which indicated a loss of communication with the ABS system. Apologies for the lengthy message, but I have made an effort to explain to the best of my ability given my little understanding. Apologies for the oversight. I neglected to mention the specific time when the vehicle was forcefully started, and thereafter, it operated at maximum capacity but emitted a significant amount of smoke. I would really appreciate any assistance from you all.
  20. This demonstrates the process of replacing your HDD.
  21. Thank you everyone, I resolved the issue after many further attempts. I discovered a useful suggestion online, but I cannot confirm whether it had an impact on my situation. Rotate the shaft so that the open end of the clip is positioned at 12 o’clock. In this manner, the lower side droops slightly, allowing the clip to centre itself when the shaft is inserted. If the open end is facing downwards, the clip ends might catch and potentially roll over onto the splines if enough force is applied. After reseating it, I used a rubber mallet to give it three hits. I felt it move, then with a last push, I heard a pleasant 'click' sound, which led to some joyful expletives! Thank you everybody for your advice and recommendations. They have given me confidence that I am on the correct road. Much love.
  22. Thank you both. I am certain that the old one is still on the old shaft. However, I will inspect the hole more closely just to be thorough. I'm also curious whether the used shaft has a snap ring, since it may be hitting the bottom without anything to catch onto. Otherwise, I will persist. Thank you for the guidance.
