Greetings, I have replaced the updated 5-button interface, volume knob, and facelift display in my 2018 Civic. Transitioning from the pre-facelift to the facelift screen. All functions operate well, save for the screen's dimmer feature when the headlights are on. Has anybody else modified the updated display on the head unit and had issues? Perhaps someone will identify the little issue with the display fading. I seek assistance. I observed that pressing the brightness, phone, and volume keys simultaneously does not provide access to the diagnostic menu. Is anybody aware of the issue? Is the reason related to the replacement of the display? I really appreciate it.

There is consistently a need for certain items. I just sold a Boxster and a SQ5 privately within a week, fetching a satisfactory sum of money from my perspective. In order to excel in listing items, one must strive to be at the pinnacle of their abilities, avoiding the complacent and lackadaisical attitude that ensnares many. Laziness attracts those who are prone to daydreaming, indecisive individuals who are hesitant to take action, and individuals who squander time.

I will persistently argue that Gen2 is less exceptional, even to the point of exhaustion. Many individuals will experience emotional distress and frustration.

For those who have installed non-original exhaust systems
spiezen replied to Darrellll's topic in General Discussions
I have available space in my garage and have retained the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) exhaust, which is in excellent shape. Subsequently, upon my sale of the item, the subsequent possessor will also be entitled to get it. However, I will not exchange the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) exhaust for such exhaust systems. If they so like, they have the capability to do the task independently. However, I am perplexed as to why they would prefer the OEM exhaust over the superior B Rogue Built titanium exhaust, which is quite impressive. -
It is likely that your two-hour journey today will sufficiently recharge your battery to a satisfactory level. If you have a friend who is knowledgeable about cars, they could charge the vehicle for a few hours to fully recharge the battery. However, I would not recommend visiting the mechanic until the yellow light returns after your lengthy trip.

Is the CX 90 Premium classified as a hybrid vehicle?

I am grateful for the replies. I must accept and address the fact that the trim level of my vehicle is a mild hybrid Premium, and I will adhere to the information recorded in the DMV system. I must confront the additional payment of $117 during the renewal or re-registration process. -

Thank you for providing this information. Essentially, the premium trim level falls inside the hybrid category. Therefore, I just need to address the additional funds that I will be required to provide. -
Is the CX 90 Premium classified as a hybrid vehicle?

Thank you for responding to me. Fortunately, you own a comprehensive inventory of your unit. This is the only thing I get. Is there a discernible difference in the mechanical and electrical specifications between the Premium and Premium Plus models? Because the one I now own is simply the Premium trim level. -
Hello, I just purchased a 2024 Mazda CX90 Premium. After registering the vehicle at the DMV and verifying the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), it was determined that it falls within the hybrid category. I clarified to them that it is not powered by any other means but petrol. However, they continue to demand. I contacted the dealer about it gave us the documents like the car specifications catalogue you put in the window and sent it to DMV but still they denied my dispute. I also reached out to Mazda USA about my worry, and even they confirmed that the provided paperwork would be sufficient. I am unable to financially accommodate an additional $117 charge during each renewal period for a hybrid classification, despite the fact that my unit does not possess this feature. I am doing a crowd search on this website to find others who may have encountered a similar scenario as I have. I would really appreciate any advise or assistance you can provide on how to handle it. Thank you beforehand!

Could you do a diagnostic test on the fuse to see whether it has been damaged and requires replacement? -
Cameras are no longer functional after the software upgrade.

The reset has successfully completed the task. Thank you for the prompt response... -
Greetings, individuals. I just acquired a 23 plate Sportage GTLS. Upon checking the screen, it indicated that a software update was necessary. I proceeded to download and install the update without seeing any problems. However, upon engaging reverse gear, I discovered that the cameras were not functioning. Therefore, there are no posterior, anterior, superior, etc. Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue? Thank you

Last month, I conducted a thorough search and discovered that LV offers competitive pricing. Additionally, they provide coverage for the pan roof beneath the glass cover, a benefit that is not often offered by other providers.

My Mercedes from Poole caused my MOT to fail.

I empathise with your suffering. If you want a vehicle with an impeccable and untarnished MOT history, this automobile is an excellent choice. It is quite frustrating, but I would personally suggest that you just continue with your life. Even if you get the money, they will not be concerned about their mistake. -
The speed remained rather consistent at 40 km/h, sometimes increasing to 50, 80, and so on, but never dropping below the speedometer reading.

Upon attempting to read the numbers in real time, I saw that both rear wheels exhibit erratic jumps in speed, ranging from 40km to 80kmh, regardless of whether the vehicle is moving in a straight line or going around turns. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the rear ABS rings had come into contact with the sensors due to rust expansion. I have placed washers underneath the sensors, which has effectively resolved the problem. However, it is imperative that I address the underlying issue by obtaining and installing new ABS rings, since the current solution is just a temporary remedy. I am perplexed as to why the values increased instead of decreasing. However, I am grateful to all those who provided comments, since the diagnostic scanner indicated that the issue was with the steering angle sensor and the yaw sensor. It is unsurprising that the ABS rings rust, given that the routes I drive on are often flooded. Thank you once again

I will verify whether the readings fluctuate while approaching corners. This is the moment when the red warning light illuminates and deactivates the ABS and traction control systems. I will do this experiment tonight. Would the addition of the rear sensor on the right-hand side affect the readings of the other sensors? I am disengaging from the yaw sensor since the red brake warning light is very reliable when it illuminates at a certain speed and while cornering. Therefore, I consider it to be functioning well.

Hello everyone, I am seeking advice regarding my 2003 330d tourer E46 car. I have been experiencing an issue with the traction control light coming on, particularly when making right turns, resulting in a loss of power. Initially, I ignored this problem because pressing the DSC button allowed me to drive normally without any power loss. However, both the traction light and the (!) lights eventually came on and remained illuminated. After a day or so, the red brake warning light also came on when I was driving at around 50mph on a slight right corner. Although it reset itself for the next journey, the other two lights remained on permanently. I used a cheap scanner and it indicated a problem with the steering angle sensor, which made sense considering the initial issue with turning right. However, it also indicated that all ABS sensors were faulty, which I chose to disregard. Today, I installed a steering angle sensor and had it calibrated using a reliable scanner. All the problems were cleared, but the issue with the lights persists, as previously described. The tyres have the appropriate pressure, right profile, are not worn, and are not staggered. The real-time data from the ABS sensors remains consistent, but when the traction control light starts flashing, the measurements become erratic. However, when the red brake warning light emerges, the values stabilise. Through my study, I have discovered that the yaw sensor has the potential to malfunction. Where is it located? I am attempting to use logical reasoning instead of randomly replacing components. Thank you in advance. Additionally, I have noticed that the brakes seem to stick and then release, and I have become accustomed to this issue over the years. It feels similar to having warped discs, although they have already been changed. I am curious whether these two issues are linked.
