What is the MAF sensor? I assume that you had it repaired a long time ago. Updates might be beneficial for other users who are searching the boards for solutions.

This matter is increasingly vexing me. Visualise the act of assessing approaching vehicles when exiting a crossroads, and the automobile moves at a very slow pace for the first two seconds, which is undeniably hazardous! I will thereafter do a scan and subsequently publish the codes.
-
The engine does not experience any stalling. Accelerate rapidly after a brief pause of two seconds.
-
Can someone provide clarification or insight on this matter?

Excuse me.

Greetings, everyone. I have had this issue ever since I acquired the automobile many months ago. During acceleration, such as when exiting a crossroads, the automobile has a delay before starting to move. It is vexing, and at times has approached becoming perilous! Another instance is when you apply almost maximum power at the traffic lights, there is a little delay of around one second before the vehicle starts moving. It exhibits same behaviour in sports, but the delay is not as significant. Does this characteristic belong to the 7 series, or does it suggest a defect? Thank you.

I own a 2019 E coupe 2.0d, which I believe is a C238 model. It is equipped with a widescreen dashboard, leather seats, airmatic suspension, 20" wheels, and a premium plus package. The ride quality is satisfactory, however it is equipped with run-flat tyres, which may need replacement sooner than expected. The 9-speed gearbox performs well, delivering excellent performance and fuel efficiency.

The 30-year corrosion guarantee is contingent upon the automobile receiving maintenance and inspection only from authorised Mercedes Benz dealerships. Failure to adhere to this requirement, such as missing a service or obtaining service from a different provider, would result in the nullification of the 30-year warranty. My 2006 C55 AMG is exhibiting indications of corrosion on its body, a common issue with S203 models in the UK, although there are few exceptions. Given that my vehicle has accumulated over 150,000 kilometres and lacks a complete service history from Mercedes-Benz, I see little use in bringing it to them for repairs. Applying any kind of anti-corrosion paint or chemical is very likely to void any existing warranty on the vehicle. In recent times, it is my belief that MB, or the business sector, has a greater number of legal and financial professionals compared to engineers. These individuals dedicate their working hours to evading accountability for any technical errors that may have occurred in the past.

I had a BMW F30 335d equipped with a maximum power output of 370 brake horsepower. Subsequently, I made the acquisition of the 340d model. It is worth noting that the 340d, in its original state, exhibits a much higher level of acceleration compared to a 335d that has undergone mapping, but only up to around 70 miles per hour. The potential of the m340d is likely to be remarkable. The reason for the current inability to map the 340d is not yet understood. The potential consequence of such an action would be a significant disruption to the m3 market. The torque shown by the 340d is commendable. When combined with the electric motor, the vehicle exhibits immediate power without any delay. Having previously owned a modified 335d RS3. The m340d is an exceptionally powerful and effective tool. The 335d had impressive speed, yet its handling characteristics were reminiscent of an elderly person attempting to locate a Nokia 3210 mobile phone.

Warranty problem with a rusty subframe on a W203 coupé
spiezen replied to CheresX's topic in General Discussions
I am unwilling to provide assistance with Mercedes rear frames due to their lack of coverage, which I believe is the situation for all Mercedes models....and even in such cases, the outside appearance may remain intact while the inside degradation occurs due to the consumption of the "golden body lightener." -

The removal of trays from beneath for the MOT, as well as the inspection of plastic sill trims for holes, are prohibited actions. Failure to comply with these regulations would result in a vehicle without coverings being deemed unfit for the MOT. Additionally, the testing of seat belts in relation to child seats is also restricted. -
It is advisable to measure the voltage of both the newly installed auxiliary battery and the primary battery prior to starting the vehicle's engine. A reading of 12.6 volts or above is often indicative of a fully charged lead acid battery. However, it is worth noting that if you own an AGM battery, the voltage reading may be higher than 12.6 volts.

Based on my observation, it seems that the MB Star is not properly secured in its position. Specifically, one of the clips located towards the left center side of the vehicle, as seen from the front, is not adequately fastened. This suggests that the MB Star may not have been installed appropriately. The star itself is devoid of blemishes. After organizing the matter at hand, I will proceed to provide a response.

I have sent an email to the supplying dealer in order to document the communication, since I am aware that the sales representative will be absent tomorrow. I am optimistic that, given the proximity of a local location next to my workplace, they will have the opportunity to do an examination. If the issue persists, I will take it to the authorized dealer. The reason for my inquiry on this platform is that sometimes, certain faults are well-documented and may be readily addressed in a straightforward manner, without the need for extensive troubleshooting. This can be accomplished by doing the necessary repairs or maintenance directly on the driveway, therefore avoiding unnecessary complications.

Thank you for your response. I would want to clarify that the vehicle in question was not obtained from an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership, but rather through Jardine Jaguar Land Rover. Additionally, it was provided with a two-year guarantee. Consequently, I intend to visit a Mercedes-Benz dealership to get their input on the matter.

Challenges Associated with Owning a Pre-Owned Vehicle I just acquired the E63 automobile and am really satisfied with the purchase. However, I have encountered a little issue whereby an error message appears on the dashboard, indicating The radar sensors are in need of cleaning. Please refer to the owner's handbook for instructions. Upon pressing the steering wheel, the issue seems to be resolved, indicating that the Distronic system is functioning properly. However, despite this observation, the recurring message persists. I have inspected all the sensors and cameras and can confirm that they are devoid of any contaminants. Despite consulting the owner's handbook, I have been unable to locate any relevant information. However, when reviewing the maintenance records from May 2021, I saw an invoice for the purchase of a new radar sensor, although no specific location reference was provided. I have brought up the issue with the supplying dealer, since the vehicle is now covered by a two-year warranty. However, prior to initiating the process of scheduling an appointment with Mercedes, I am curious if there are any straightforward and expeditious solutions that someone may propose. I have placed an order for a Carly adapter, which was expected to arrive by now. Once it is received, I will proceed to connect it and assess the presence of any stored error codes.

Congratulations, your performance shows commendable diligence.

Concerning the M113 AMG engine's fuel type. (2006 C55) .

It is advisable to use super unleaded fuel whenever possible. In my opinion, depending on a knock sensor as a regular means of safeguarding the engine by using delayed ignition timing is not the most optimal approach. -

Thank you for your response. I have placed an order for a pair of sensors; however, when inspecting the pads one month ago, they seemed to be in satisfactory condition. -

It is likely that additional ones will be required, and I will provide an update on if the aforementioned 'trick' was successful. Thank you for your response. -

The item in question is not significantly worn and I am unable to recall if I had consulted the Idrive webpage. The red brake sign and red triangle are consistently shown, along with a notification about the activation of the nanny driving mode. Upon recollection, it became apparent that the vehicle required replacement discs. Consequently, I proceeded to install new pads concurrently. The previous sanitary pads exhibited around 50% wear. -

The proposed solution is ineffective. I discovered a technique on a different online platform: BMW aims to install a new sensor during pad replacements in order to prevent the need for this action. However, a workaround to circumvent this involves briefly bridging the contacts on the wear sensor connection and thereafter performing a reset. After completion, the sensor may be reconnected. I intend to do this task on the following day; nevertheless, I am perplexed as to why the warning did not manifest immediately subsequent to the installation of the new brake pads, but rather after a distance of 500 miles. -
I successfully used the concealed menus to initiate a reset of the brake fluid. However, my attempt to do the same procedure for the front pads yielded a "unsuccessful" outcome, despite the initial indication that a reset was really feasible. Earlier today, I encountered the activation of the brake warning message, about one month subsequent to the completion of brake maintenance. Is it necessary to replace the brake worn cables as well? The Ancel BM500 handheld scanner encounters a failure while performing a CBS reset.
