  1. However, it is important to note that you still own a transfer case and differentials.
  2. The P06A8 code often indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has identified an abnormal reference voltage signal or a performance issue with a specific sensor labelled as "C". The sensor in issue is often linked to the automatic gearbox, transfer case or one of the differentials. Typically, there will be an additional sensor code that provides more precise information beside this code. The P06A8 code indicates that the sensor reference circuit voltage is either beyond the anticipated range or not performing as expected. To ascertain the position and use of the "C" sensor for the specific vehicle, go to a reliable source of vehicle information such as AllDataDIY. If the P06A8 code is saved by itself, it is likely indicative of a PCM programming mistake. Prior to addressing the P06A8 issue, it is necessary to first detect and correct any additional sensor codes.
  3. The rate is essentially standard. Failure to use the air conditioning system results in the contraction of the seals, leading to the escape of the gas. Regas contains a fluid that aids in the resealing and repair of the system's seals.
  4. Indeed, it is possible to use gas, but it is crucial to ensure that the gas used is appropriate and suitable. If the product is defective, it is advisable to seek warranty repair.

  7. The devastating force likely resulted from years of someone attempting to physically open or shut it forcefully. When the lever forcefully penetrated the housing, it is possible that I unintentionally did this due to my panicked actions in the rain. The lever refused to shut since the ball had detached from the main gear.
  8. Are you referring to a complex or controversial issue? I accessed the malfunctioning device. Most likely caused by the gradual deterioration from use and maybe by individuals manually helping with the tailboard over time. It is likely that the leg with the ball and socket became free from the main gear, causing movement. As a result, the ball twisted out of and damaged the socket. Subsequently, it was pressed against the motor housing and, with continued usage, became trapped and broke the housing. The white cog below is powered by the electric motor. The primary mobile component, equipped with teeth, is propelled by a metallic gear located underneath the four cog assembly. There is no lubrication present on the black plastic gear on top or on the four cog section of both the damaged unit and the replacement used one. There is a little amount of material on the top lid of the device where it attaches to two mounting points. Furthermore, there are no additional damaged components. All other internal components seem to be in good condition. If I were to refrain from using the MB grease option, is there an alternative available at motor factors that can be purchased without a prescription for the metal and plastic components?
  9. I was hoping someone might provide the MB advice to avoid me from having to contact MB. I am uncertain about whether the white cog operates the primary mechanism. It is possible that it functions in opposition to a metal gear, but I will examine it again to confirm. The ball detached from its connection to the gear, causing the casing of the motor to fracture where it was punctured. Tonight, I may examine the damaged one to determine its cause.
  10. Greetings, After many months, I have finally taken the time to remove a malfunctioning one and will now proceed to install a pre-owned tailboard lift motor. Prior to desiring longevity, I must ensure that this particular item is well lubricated. Upon examining the photograph, it is evident that there is an unlubricated or inappropriately lubricated metal and plastic gear located at the top. The primary gear has window regulator style teeth and retains a little layer of grease from its original manufacturing in 2012. Beneath it is a little white gear coated with aged, yellowish oil residue. Which lubricant should I apply in certain areas to ensure the long-term functioning of the mechanism? Thank you for your attention.
  11. The use of the connection will be required for your automobile model, provided that it is equipped with a distinct engine.
  12. I have reason to believe that this response has been created by an artificial intelligence system. Therefore, I would not place my trust or dependence on it... I believe you will be successful by just initiating it, however I recommend following these steps: 1. Refrain from altering the oil, as it will remain in satisfactory condition. 2. Apply a fine mist of oil into the cylinders. 3. Disconnect the injectors with caution and use the ignition to initiate a 5-second crank. Based on my own observation, it typically takes a brief duration of a few seconds for the oil to circulate throughout the engine while using the starter to initiate the engine's operation. If you fail to disconnect the injectors while cranking, they will release gasoline into the cylinders, resulting in the cleansing of the bores. Even if the fuel pump is removed, it is possible for them to inject some gasoline into the cylinders.

  14. Greetings, badgx. Thank you for the information. I will be apart from the automobile until the weekend, but, I have a few tasks to do and evaluate once I return to it. Do you believe that a 10.4V output is questionable, or might it just be the result of the usual pulse width modulation (PWM) reading? The diagnostic technician saw the presence of electricity throughout the scanning process using an OBD reader and concluded that my battery could be depleted, however this was not the case. I need a reliable source of grounding and then examine the power supply to the fuel pump. I suspect that the brown ground wire located above the EKP is the cause of the issue. Upon returning to the automobile, I will assess the input voltage of the EKP module.
  15. Greetings, IrvesBMW. Thank you for responding. I will return with the vehicle over the weekend. I am now harbouring doubts regarding the earthing point located above the EPK FCU. That will be my first focus of investigation. Are there any further problematic areas that may be examined as well?
  16. It may be wise to mention that the radio malfunctioned the day before, with no display but the ability to eject and play CDs. This issue might potentially be connected.
  17. A new fuel pump has been installed, however, it is still not functioning. The battery has been fully charged, but, only a voltage of 10.4 volts is being seen at the fuel pump feed. Examined the Tyco blue relay (with 4 spade connectors) located in the white fuse/relay box. When supplied with electricity, it produced an output voltage of 12.6 volts. Is the fuel pump supplied with fuel from the Fuel Control Unit? Are there no diagrams included in the Haynes manual? If anybody has any guidance or recommendations, it would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

  19. Disconnecting the temperature sensor will result in a lack of temperature information, hence the most prudent course of action is to keep the fan running continuously. If the fan is operational, then there is no problem present. I believe that the temperature transmitter is malfunctioning.
  20. It seems that you have the option to pay for them or just print them from the internet, which we all already use to check history. This brings us closer to the day when the usage of ring binders filled with documentation will become obsolete. The user's text is "[/QUOTE]". It is unfortunate that I am fond of my ring binders filled with historical content. 🙂
