"How long is a piece of string?" in its purest form, I'm afraid. Who can say for sure what the 25–30 years of prior owners have done? A number of things could be wrong, including faulty or broken wiring, an amp channel that isn't working, or the radio's configuration. Anyone competent enough to run a wiring loom directly from the head unit to the doors should also be able to figure out what's wrong with the current setup and implement the necessary bypass.

Hello everyone, I hope I've found the correct spot because this is my first post. Just got my third SLK R171 recently. Clean, low-mileage vehicle that has been stored in a garage for a while; now I'm trying to fix a few little things. Need someone in North London (Barnet) to tighten the gaskets and rubber seals behind the 2011 SLK's back screen. Although the gaskets and seals are in fine condition, a minor trickle remains at the point where the side seals attach to the central seal. Everything seems to be going smoothly with the drainage pipes and holes, however they may use a thorough flush. If it's required, I can work with used or non-original parts to replace the C-pillar seals and gaskets. The center piece of the seal is apparently out of stock now. I am seeking a local, affordable alternative to my regular MB independent mechanic because their costs are too high for my budget. Feel free to ask any more questions or request photographs. My deepest gratitude

According to Google, the bolt dimensions are M14 x 1.5 x 120. Look for M14 x 1.5 x 120 on Google if this is the case. is fine pitch (it doesn't specify, but you may enquire or locate an alternative that does; they're reasonably priced), it ought to fulfil the purpose.

I hope that all of your problems are minor ones.

Appalling sound coming from the back of the vehicle

Same as before, in my opinion. Even though it's tough to spin the back tires, you should jack it up and give it a shot while listening for any noise or rumbling. -

Before the work was done, there was a noise that sounded like fresh discs. -

Is DAB reception included in the latest redesign?

I had no issues with DAB in my updated model; yet, residing in London, I would not anticipate any, given the abundance of transmitters. -
The boot of the Mercedes W211 opens but does not elevate.

Was the W211 equipped with a motorised trunk? Mine was equipped with a spring assist. Unless the original poster is alluding to the Estate variant? -
Excellent work. It appears frigid with perhaps sleet. The weather here is contrary.

Kia Picanto 2020 challenging ignition - immobiliser malfunction
Rojoires replied to Rojoires's topic in General Discussions
The item remains under warranty; however, it is not convenient to return it to the dealer as my daughter is attending university away from home. I anticipated the existence of a 'common' issue, although thus far, I have not identified one. -
Greetings to everyone, Following several recommendations, we purchased my daughter a 2020 Kia Picanto 1.0 GT Line, believing it would be a pleasant and dependable vehicle for her. However, she has now encountered persistent troubles with the car failing to start and the immobiliser indicator remaining up. It will crank without issue, however it will not start when the light is illuminated. Interestingly, prior to the vehicle being taken to the dealership for repairs, it would start while the light was illuminated but not when it was off. The dealer substituted the ignition barrel and the immobiliser coil; both keys have had their batteries replaced, nevertheless it frequently fails to start. Typically, it will succeed if you wait and attempt again; however, the delay appears to be increasing progressively. My subsequent consideration is to substitute the 12v battery; but, given the rapid cranking of the engine, I find it difficult to ascertain why this would be the underlying issue. Has anyone else experienced something similar and have any recommendations?

I no longer possess any all-in-one jump start packs or tyre inflators. Currently, most vehicles are equipped with a Bosch air pump and a CTEK CS FREE. Both are competitively priced on Amazon for Black Friday.

I believe you are referring to Historical.

You may reset it by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 10 minutes.

Is it necessary to code a new MAF sensor, or is it a plug-and-play component?
