  1. If it's lacquered, all you need to do is wipe it off with diluted all-purpose cleaning.
  2. This is not a Mercedes-Benz garage, but they are trusted one hundred percent by the Saab community. I am now in the process of purchasing an e200 kompressor from them, and I will definitely be utilizing them for any future repair that I need done. The owner's name is Rick, and the garage can be found on Horsey Hill in the middle of Stockport. RTC is the initials of the business.
  3. If cared for correctly, a 200tdi engine is so well constructed that it will last forever. Overengineering was cut down on the 300tdi, but it's still a powerful engine. Td5's motor is much more refined, but it's not perfect. Once the problems that LR intentionally introduced are fixed, however, it has the potential to be a game-changer. Personally, I miss the original 200tdi.
  4. It depends on the MT and AT that we are discussing, how much things you load in the Rover, the state of the vehicle, the terrain that you travel on, etc. etc. etc. However, on general, an average AT will outlive an MT by about half times as long as the MT.
  5. Any 180F with a jiggle pin will do.
  6. My gut tells me One, the arches in the back of a pre lighted car are too flat and don't seem right. It reminds me a lot of a mobile kitchen:D 2. I'm not sure about the low, narrow line.durr: To accommodate the taillights, the main body tub of a 3 or 4 wide vehicle includes small square holes, but the main tub of a 3 or 4 thin vehicle does not. I'm at a loss for words.
  7. It's a worst-case scenario quote. Before assessing broken components, no one can predict real-life repair prices. The steering rack suffered a big shock if the force bent the track rod end that much. This might affect vehicle safety. Using the manufacturer's measurements on a jig, subframe body alignment may be confirmed. A reputable, independent, insurance-approved repairer can estimate damage more accurately. The usual "Is this an insurance job mate" inquiry will likely be asked, with everything overestimated. This often raises insurance rates.
