How to activate the front passenger seat heating?
Paqngo replied to Paqngo's topic in General Discussions
According to the aforementioned comments, there is no straightforward solution. While awaiting my daughter's arrival from school on a chilly day, I like the seat to be heated and prepared for her. Utilising the application for such a little task is suboptimal. on this particular instance, the seat heating controls for the eNiro located on the central console are the superior option. It is frustrating that Kia did not consider it. We should have the ability to activate passenger seat heating in the climate control interface. -
I have been enjoying the EV3 experience since acquiring the vehicle over the weekend. My former vehicle was an eNiro, where the driver could easily activate the front passenger seat heating due to the switch's placement on the central console. In the EV3, the passenger seat heating switch is located on the passenger door, necessitating some stretching to access it. The driver can activate the back seat heating via the climate screen, however the passenger seat heating cannot be controlled in the same manner. Have I overlooked something? Is accessing the passenger door switch the only method?

Depending on the mileage accrued (presumably little for a diesel) during the last two years, the vehicle requires servicing, indicating it is 12 months overdue for maintenance. The gearbox requires maintenance every 40,000 to 60,000 kilometres. Instead of only spending around £300 on a gearbox service, it is advisable to have the codes examined, since it may indicate a malfunctioning component. It may not be, but it is prudent to ascertain initially.

A appropriate oil pressure gauge has to be installed and the pressure assessed. That is a substandard repair.

2022 Tucson Ultimate Hybrid - Electrical wire damage
Paqngo replied to jimmy47785's topic in General Discussions
Excellent discovery. However, I have seen that my 42-year-old backhoe and 72-year-old tractor experience less wire damage compared to the newer vehicles I have had to often leave outside. The former are situated in the woods at a considerable distance from the home. Tractors and similar machinery may be inherently more "exposed" by design, providing a less concealed and safe environment for creatures compared to the area under a vehicle hood. I will need to investigate the findings demonstrating equivalent attraction to soy and non-soy insulation. -

Soy-based insulation has existed for some years. The attraction of creatures to it is well recognised. I would be astonished to discover a car manufacturer that is not using that material in contemporary times. Nonetheless, this does not provide a sufficient rationale for allowing major corporations, as defendants in litigation, to feign ignorance. Numerous accounts throughout the years indicate that various creatures are drawn to any wire that conducts even little residual electricity. Extensive lists (mostly of ordinary home items, cleaning agents, herbs, and toiletries) are purportedly poisonous to certain pests and are thought to be efficient in repelling them. Moreover, the majority are inexpensive and provide a somewhat agreeable fragrance for individuals. For men, it is simple; just apply AXE liberally to various surfaces. No animals were seen in the vicinity thereafter. There are no ladies present. -
problems or user mistake with the new Sportage

Hello, to use park assist, first double lock the vehicle, then press and hold the top button marked with a circle. Maintain pressure under it until the dash illuminates, then push forward or backward as needed. Your boot will only open automatically if the vehicle is secured. To enable the automatic function, the automobile must be locked prior to unlocking it; otherwise, it will not operate. I trust that this information is beneficial. -
I would use white spirit for cleaning, while intently observing the engine in operation to ascertain the source of the leak. The picture shows the leak-off push-in without its 'O' ring. During the engine reconstruction, mine was leaking at a 'O' ring. Substitutes are accessible. Exercise caution; my new 'o' rings were somewhat challenging to reinsert, ensuring that the push-in retainers would engage properly. The breakage was effortless.

Not the dealer, but rather over-the-air upgrades.

For heel-toe shifting, if applicable, install an automatic pedal on the manual brake pedal; however, the distance will likely be negligible, or alternatively, get a cover.

At BMW, after the service is completed, all service records are maintained on BMW servers. Whenever a new service is added, the whole service history is downloaded back to the vehicle. Independent garages lack this capability, thus they are only able to create new entries. The automobile cannot be organised in chronological order, and the software is also unable to modify old entries. When doing the task, I meticulously record all the historical data and then erase it. Then, I proceed to input each entry individually and in the appropriate sequence into the designated section of the program. Finally, I transmit the whole set of data to the automobile. It is quite time-consuming, which is likely why locations just include an entry.
-
If the software versions are same, I must input the service history into the iDrive system. However, it appends the entries to the bottom of the list unless I delete all existing records and input them again in the right sequence.

Yes, I agree. If the cars were originally yellow, it is quite likely that people would want them to be white. It is a matter of people desiring what they can have. -

Access Facebook, but my familiarity with them is limited to the M3/4. The compatibility depends on the kind of lighting you have. In my case, it is simple since I have LED lights. The modules are located on top of the lights under the hood. There are reputable dealers available on the M car forums. The price for these items is around £100, but they can also be found on platforms like AliExpress. The sellers simply purchase the products from China and resell them. The modules may be disassembled, allowing for the replacement of the internal circuit boards.I will attempt to locate the vendor. -
My car is a 530d and the strut obstructs access to 2 of the hub bolts, requiring it to be shifted about 4 inches. I will try again tomorrow. Thank you drummer
-
Thank you, I will do the task tomorrow.
-
Thank you for the information. IrvesBMW, does it imply that it is not securely fastened inside the hub, but only requires loosening before being removed?
-
Hello, I would want some advise on how to remove the pinch bolt located in the lower part of the suspension strut in order to lower the hub and get access to remove the wheel bearing assembly. The nut was easily removed, but the bolt remains immovable. I am now asking if it is threaded through the body or whether it has splines and requires forceful removal. I would much appreciate any information provided before I do damage to the automobile or endanger myself.

The key may have inadvertently been lodged between a narrow gap between the seats or under a floor mat. Additionally, try to do a thorough search in the vicinity of the cushion and its immediate surroundings.

Out of curiosity, what was the total cost of all this?Did the supplier just provide the airbag cover and you relocated the internal components from the old airbag to the new one? Did they provide a complete airbag, if you understand what I mean?
