I hope you enjoy your time here😃 Is the battery in your automobile still the factory-issued one? If this is the case, and you take the vehicle to a competent mechanic to have the codes analyzed, you will find that there is an abundance of 'low voltage' problems recorded. * I apologize in advance if you already know this, but the car's microbrain records an enormous amount of information that can be read by a correctly equipped code reader or, preferably, by someone with MB's own STAR system. If you already know this, please accept my apology. Batteries that are getting on in years but yet seem to be functioning well might throw all kinds of weird and apparently unconnected errors. A helpful hint: in your member profile, provide the type and engine of your vehicle, as well as your location. The closest major city will do just well. In this approach, when one of the independents is beeded, we will be able to direct you to other suitable options.

The repairs are not yet complete. Thank You for the Direction

Are you stating that 'all they did' was to re-gas the air conditioning unit and charge you, presumably, for that as well as maybe for their own Star diagnosis? If what you say is true, then I'm not clear on what basis you could demand that they 'repair it' without charging you any money. What did their diagnostic reveal, or did you expressly ask them to replace the actuator, and they did not do so? Even if they didn't change it and didn't charge you for it, I don't get why they should replade it for free if they didn't change it and didn't charge you. Or have I misunderstood what you said? -
I smoothed out the rough edges (the hose is now 2.5 cm shorter) and attached a new clip to it before pressing it on. It is somewhat strained but is not kinked in any way. It's not a lot, but I'm hoping it will get me to my indie. I discovered that it does not need priming, so I held the key in position two for a total of 40 seconds (twice), and it worked perfectly the first time. There was no damage, and everything seems to be operating normally for the time being... Because this is my first diesel, the idea of cutting diesel hoses makes me feel queasy because I worry that black dirt will go all over the place. Tin foil was wrapped over any wire sockets, and I used an engine degreaser to clean the area where the gasoline had sprayed. I then hosed the area clean. I really hope you liked reading this tale. The motion picture contract is now in the works.

As I keep saying, that method doesn't work if you have different forces for each wheel. That only restarts the tracking system, which has nothing to do with the wheel. You have to learn how to use the tool again. There's nothing else to do. Please read what I've already said. "Common problems and how to fix them Mk3," and read the whole thread, especially the second part.
-
This is true only if the wheel can be moved and a digital readout of the pressure in each tyre is available.
-
Check out "Common Problems and Solutions Mk3" under my post.

Unfortunately, it does require the small device to help the car locate the wheel. If you swap the nearside front wheel with the nearside rear wheel and then inflate the front wheel by 10 psi, the dashboard will indicate that the rear wheel has gained 10 psi. The sensors must be retrained so that the vehicle can locate the wheel.
-
If the vehicle's dashboard shows individual tyre pressures in PSI, switching wheels will need reprogramming, which is impossible without a reset device.

One can wonder what caused the cracks. In other words, is there an issue with the framework? Or has it already been trodden upon? Or.. ? By the way, I despise flat roofs.

Similar to the classic joke about some teenage scallywags who "offer" to watch a man's parked vehicle in exchange for a few pounds while he goes grocery shopping. He declines our offer, saying, "No thanks; my Alsatian dog is sitting in the back car, and he's ferocious. In response Nice dog, Mr. Mister, but can it put out fires?....."

All the best I love this forum. Thank you

Hi I am aware that this is perhaps a "how long is a piece of string question," but the title bar's bushes need to be replaced on both sides. Four replacement bolts and two OEM bushes have been procured. The local mechanic I've used in the past gave me a labor estimate of £221.00 (+VAT) to install. Although it's a tricky job getting to the bolts and requires a little tactful levering on the lower arm to achieve it, I've observed that they can be changed while the bottom arm is still in place. Any of the sage minds here like to share their thoughts on how long they anticipate it would take to complete? Keeping in mind that a garage contains ramps and other entry points. Sadly, I can no longer lie flat on my back below a vehicle. I appreciate your views and suggestions as always.

Bookatrack, a welcoming group Lotus racing, extremely affordable RMA has stopped doing business in the UK and is presently exclusively in Europe. Goldtrack has a long history and a good reputation. Easytrack, see lotus on the track -
After 11 years, my bottom bracket broke due to movement. One of the problematic 5mm bolts that were put in had pulled out, letting the bracket to slide beneath the mot guys lever. A straightforward repair replaced the bolt pass.

What are diagnostic scans, and why do I need one?

Hello, I'm new here and need some help. The battery in my 2003 x5 4.6is died while I was on vacation. After I charged the battery, it worked fine.Since then, the window wipers, the inside button for the central locking and the key fob don't work.do you have any ideas? -
No surprise you update it so often at such a high expense! Any ideas where I can obtain the amount required and what bmw uses?
-
At that price, it's no surprise you change your mind so often! Do you have any clue where I may discover the amount that I need or what bmw uses?

In 6000 miles, a 435d needs an oil change. I recently received a recall letter for an EGR cooler replacement and was planning to simply get my oil and filter changed at the same time. However, I was quoted £282 for a minor oil service and wondered what kind of oil BMW uses and how much of it they use. Given that winter is quickly approaching, £282 must be at least a week's worth of heating.
