  1. I have no intention of parting with them since I refer to them often in my work, and you have undoubtedly already discovered that they are difficult to come by. Please let me know if there is anything in particular you'd want to know or see; I'll be happy to oblige using the 220/2 catalog and, with any luck, some digging into the earlier catalog to get information on the early BJ8 models. If you're interested in acquiring one of these catalogs, I recommend keeping an eye on online auction sites like eBay and others like it, since they sometimes include such collectibles.
  2. The manufacturing of the AH 3000 Mk III is divided between two Lucas catalogs, the first of which includes vehicles produced between 1961 and 1964. Lucas Service Catalog 220/2 was applicable to BJ8s manufactured after 1965. If your automobile was made in 1965 or later, I can provide you information from that catalog. If I still have my 1964 Lucas catalog, I can probably get it out of the basement, but it will take some time. If you need anything more from the 220/2 catalog, however, just let me know.
  3. That makes perfect sense; I didn't see it coming. His material releases had decreased considerably, and I observed that he had moved out of his residence and sold several vehicles. That clarifies everything. Outside of his MB videos, I seldom view any of his material.
  4. Just kick back with a huge big diesel and relax. A great grunt for passing, in particular. I recently took it for a day of cornering instruction at an airport and was blown away by the car's capable chassis and the absurd amount of grip it offers. I was able to get 130 mph out of it on the autobahn before I lost my nerve. I'll note that my car is an older version of the vehicle (a 09 plate) just in case you were wondering. There are no big drawbacks. Experienced a string of warning lights related to the particle filter, all of which indicated the need to replace different sensors at a cost of about £300. Other than that, I've had to replace three tires and one wheel since the 18-inch wheels and low-profile tires are so vulnerable to damage from potholes. Highway gas mileage for an NSL is above 50 mpg. When traveling in ADUK, you can expect to average 35 miles per hour. I really do hope this is of some use to you. I almost forgot to mention that my home is a manor. You may either have a refrigerator or a digital piano delivered, or both!
  5. I went with the diesel and am quite pleased.
  6. Yup! I have a 2021 GLC, and the message came in when the vehicle was parked in my garage; however, nothing had fallen on the car during that time.
  7. when I have absolutely no clue who would be able to assist with this, when I was reading your message, a notion did come to me that could be able to help. How will the relevant authorities determine whether or not the vehicle comply with the Euro 6C standards? Do they test it (that is, measure real exhaust emissions from the tailpipe), or do they depend on the information that the manufacturer provided during the homologation process when the vehicle was brand new? If they depend on the homologation provided by the manufacturer, then "detuning" it may not be adequate. Best of luck with the importation of it.
  8. Could someone please explain the problem with the most recent VWs and key cloning. I've heard that VW technology stops cloning, but I can't locate any information from VW on how it does this specifically.
  9. I'm curious as to why deactivating both is necessary while leaving a dog inside when travelling by boat. I believe you should jack up the automobile to ensure that tilt is turned off.
  10. Hello, I'm seeking for some guidance. i have a 5 year old skoda karoq. This Skoda comes with a complete service history. My issue is, considering that it has only traveled 12500 miles and I have received a recommendation to replace the cam belt due to the low mileage, should I really do so?
  11. Whoever created it and believed one bolt would suffice wants to be shot. Obviously, you've looked at the other side?? At the very least, another bolt, however I would personally weld it after it was back in place.
  12. Hi guys Always check with them first, but don't worry too much if you do; they offer a service that Ebay doesn't. You may learn a lot about how to keep your account secure by visiting their security page. If you decide to give them a shot, I'd love to hear how it goes.
  13. I, too, have used Niphos in Crewe; I haven't used it in approximately six years, but the chrome still looks great. Crewe's train station is within a short walking distance.
