  1. Today
  2. Worth mentioning I had to return a car I bought from Lamsam Logistics earlier this year due to unexpected family circumstances, not because there was anything wrong with the vehicle. They were understanding, arranged collection within 48 hours, and refunded me the same day after confirming my bank details!
  3. An update for anyone following this thread the Kodiaq arrived late last night. I’ve booked it in with my mechanic for a check, but first impressions are excellent. Really glad I went ahead with it.
  4. I’ll be honest, my delivery was two days later than originally expected when I purchased my first repo car, which did make me anxious at the time but Lamsam Logistics called me as soon as they knew there would be a delay and kept me updated. When the car arrived, it was flawless. So despite the wait, I was very happy with the outcome.
  5. I’ve used them several times for moving goods between France and the UK. Always reliable and good with communication. My niece also bought a 2023 Nissan Qashqai through their repossessed car section a few months ago. The car looked almost brand new, and the price was far better than what local dealers were asking.
  6. Hi, just to add another angle, I used Lamsam Logistics recently to transport a 2019 Mazda CX-5 I bought privately. It wasn’t a repossession, just delivery only, they handled everything perfectly. The car arrived on time and in great condition.
  7. Thanks everyone for the replies. I’ve decided to go ahead and make the payment tomorrow. Still a bit nervous, if I’m honest, but reading real experiences here has helped. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes.
  8. My brother-in-law has been driving lorries for Lamsam Logistics for several years now, and he’s always spoken highly of them. From what he’s told me, they’re well organised and pretty strict about doing things properly. He’s mentioned that all repossessed vehicles they sell are inspected before being listed and come directly from recognised UK auctions.
  9. I did a bit of background checking on Lamsam Logistics myself. They’re properly registered and easy enough to reach by phone I spoke with someone called Daniel, who clearly explained how their payment process works and why the funds are held separately until the buyer confirms everything is okay.
  10. Good evening everyone, I bought a 2020 Volvo V60 from Lamsam Logistics around a month ago. The funds went into their segregated account, and the car arrived six days later. I won’t lie! I was nervous until the transporter turned up, but the car arrived in excellent condition, freshly cleaned inside out, and exactly as described. No unpleasant surprises at all. I hope this helps, and good luck
  11. Glad you started this thread, I’ve been watching a 2022 Ford Puma ST-Line they’ve advertised and had the same doubts. The prices look great, but that also makes you pause and wonder what the catch might be. It would definitely help to hear from someone who’s gone through the whole process.
  12. Evening all, I’ve been browsing around for a dependable used car and came across a 2021 Skoda Kodiaq listed at a price that’s noticeably lower than similar ones elsewhere. The seller is Lamsam Logistics, based in Belfast. From what I can see, they’re mainly a shipping and transport company but have recently added a section dealing with repossessed vehicles sourced from UK bank auctions. I’m naturally cautious, so before I commit to anything, I wanted to ask if anyone here has actually had dealings with Lamsam Logistics. Cheers!

  14. Bimmercode does not facilitate any tuning as you desire. The remark on the "visit tuner shop" suggests that a remap may be desired for enhanced performance.
  15. It is logical. I maintain low revolutions until the engine reaches optimal temperature, but I desire the ability to swiftly transition to peak performance when necessary.
  16. My vehicle is programmed to initiate in Eco mode to maintain low RPMs during engine warm-up.
  17. Is that due to the impossibility of accomplishing it with Bimmercode, among other tools?
  18. It certainly impacts my 435d. Activating sport mode via the button results in a gear reduction. When I shift the gear selector to sport mode, it downshifts by one further gear. I have also attempted various 0-60 times, as I have recently acquired the car and am experimenting with it. In sport mode with the standard gearbox, I achieved approximately 6 seconds. In sport mode, the gearbox reduced the times to approximately 5 seconds.
  19. Simply activate the sports mode by pressing the button; no further action is required.
  20. I am unfamiliar with BMW and have no prior experience in coding. Is it possible to program the vehicle so that engaging the gear selector into sport mode instantly transitions the car into sport driving mode? I cannot recall a scenario in which I would like expedited changes without also seeking enhanced throttle response; thus, it would be advantageous to simply switch the gear selector to sport mode to optimise performance for overtaking manoeuvres. Alternatively, am I incorrectly utilising the drive mode selector? When I engage the sport mode via the button, the throttle response appears enhanced, and the gearbox downshifts. However, I assume it is also necessary to convert the gearbox to sport mode for optimal performance?
  21. No, it's not ATF. It doesn't resemble it at all. It originates beneath the pulley areas, behind the radiator. We'll see, I guess, because it's scheduled for October.
  22. The radiator typically contains an ATF hear exchanger. However, ATF is reddish-brown and smells unique.
  23. Getting a picture is pretty difficult. It's leaving rainbow patches on wet tarmac, so it's definitely not coolant. It appears too advanced to be ATF. In essence, it's leaking onto the front under the tray and then spilling on the floor every now and again. Basically, it's right behind the radiator.
  24. A sump seal? Could you upload a picture? Are you positive it's engine oil and not ATF or coolant?

  26. For a long, there were very few problems, but now there is an oil leak. recently reached 58k, but there is some oil leaking from the engine's bottom end. My engine is fine, however Google first indicated that camshaft position sensor leaks are rather typical for this engine (and potentially destructive to the ECU). Do you have any suspicions about this specific engine? Thank you!
