I got rid of it entirely. For what reason are you enquiring? I used a little endoscope to see beneath the turbo intake pipe and make sure that the big and small orange seals were back on there properly. The green seal aluminium pipe is leak-proof.

I recently replaced the oval batwing seals. Had a power outage while out for a trip; the vehicle wouldn't rev beyond 3,000 and stayed in lower gear for longer. Presumably, this is a passive mode. Procuring the subsequent code: The "Hot film mass air flow sensor" component has a plausibility problem, which is the cause of the 14B200 fault. Got it cleared, however it returns after a moderate drive. Have completed this task multiple times. After giving it some thought, I spritzed the oval seals with a small layer of silicone lubricant. Even after checking all of the connections and wiring, I still haven't discovered the source of the batwing problem. It seems like the silicon spray might have gotten into the MAF somehow. The maf is going to be cleaned by me. Where can I find the best cleaning spray?When I was younger, I would use a spray that cleaned electrical contacts. Do you sell Liqui Moly on Amazon?

An update for anyone following this thread the Kodiaq arrived late last night. I’ve booked it in with my mechanic for a check, but first impressions are excellent. Really glad I went ahead with it.

Bimmercode does not facilitate any tuning as you desire. The remark on the "visit tuner shop" suggests that a remap may be desired for enhanced performance.

It is logical. I maintain low revolutions until the engine reaches optimal temperature, but I desire the ability to swiftly transition to peak performance when necessary.

My vehicle is programmed to initiate in Eco mode to maintain low RPMs during engine warm-up.

Is that due to the impossibility of accomplishing it with Bimmercode, among other tools?

It certainly impacts my 435d. Activating sport mode via the button results in a gear reduction. When I shift the gear selector to sport mode, it downshifts by one further gear. I have also attempted various 0-60 times, as I have recently acquired the car and am experimenting with it. In sport mode with the standard gearbox, I achieved approximately 6 seconds. In sport mode, the gearbox reduced the times to approximately 5 seconds.

Simply activate the sports mode by pressing the button; no further action is required.

I am unfamiliar with BMW and have no prior experience in coding. Is it possible to program the vehicle so that engaging the gear selector into sport mode instantly transitions the car into sport driving mode? I cannot recall a scenario in which I would like expedited changes without also seeking enhanced throttle response; thus, it would be advantageous to simply switch the gear selector to sport mode to optimise performance for overtaking manoeuvres. No, it's not ATF. It doesn't resemble it at all. It originates beneath the pulley areas, behind the radiator. We'll see, I guess, because it's scheduled for October.

The radiator typically contains an ATF hear exchanger. However, ATF is reddish-brown and smells unique.
