The vehicle is a CLK model from 2002, with a location at coordinates 240, 209. The illumination of the instrument lights and the functioning of the indicators are not operational.

I have abstained from using my automobile for a few days.

When I attempted to use my vehicle tonight, it started up but I saw that the instrument back light, warning lights, indicators, and main beam were not functioning.

Work hazards include tail, stop, and reverse. The cigar lighter is capable of providing power to the dash cam without any issues.

Has anybody encountered this?

I have had a similar problem, which was ultimately caused by a depleted battery. The indicators did not illuminate on the dashboard, however they functioned normally on the side of the vehicle.

Thank you for the ideas.

I have recently examined the battery and found that it has a voltage of 12.4 volts. It is rather recent.

The battery connections seemed to be in satisfactory condition, however, they were detached, thoroughly cleaned, and then reinstalled with dialectic grease.

Extracted the soil and repeated the process.

I also performed the same action for the engine compartment on the driver's side of the Earth vehicle.

Examined the instrument fuse located within the dashboard, saw that it seemed to be in good condition, but replaced it anyhow.

Although I had hoped that disconnecting the battery would result in a reset, the issue remains same.

The vehicle's engine starts, but none of the indicators or gauges on the instrument panel are functioning.

The hazards are functioning, but there are no external signs.

The horn and radio are functioning well.

I need to replace the indicator switch since it is not latching properly. I am concerned that there may be an underlying issue causing this problem.

I have a new item that is prepared to be installed.

I am now doing a rigorous discharge test on the battery as it is being charged.

Do you have any more suggestions?

Could you test the vehicle for around 30 minutes and observe its performance? I remember experiencing a similar problem, when even after completely charging the batteries, the vehicle did not turn back on until after a substantial drive.

If the previous solution does not work, you will need to have the cluster inspected or fixed. You may go to the link provided in the previous article for more information. It is advisable to contact them beforehand to get guidance.

Thank you for the tip. The vehicle does function, however it lacks indicators, making it quite challenging to operate.

I have come across information suggesting that it may be beneficial to remove the instrument fuse for a duration of one hour. I will attempt this method and inspect all of the fuses.

The issue you experienced may vary from mine. When I encountered the problem with my car's indicators, there was no internal indication of their functionality, but they seemed to be operating well outside.

Last night, I had a recurring issue with my vehicle. When I switched the ignition, all the dashboard lights went on as expected. The car started and I was able to drive for about 5 minutes. However, after that, all the dashboard lights shut out, while the outside lights and indicators were still functioning properly. There were no warning signs on the dashboard, but I noticed that the clock was moving forward and backward on its own, and some of the caution lights would sometimes flicker. Returned and delegated the task of doing online research in preparation for fault testing later today. Today, everything seems to be functioning OK except for the need to reset the clock and the run flat indication. Currently, I do not use the automobile to the same extent as I previously did. Additionally, the weather conditions have been unfavourable. Furthermore, it was Halloween, which is an unusual occurrence. I speculate that the dampness may have been a contributing factor.

Although it may not be directly related, I suggest searching for "JJ on Cars" on YouTube. There are many videos of his CLK, and I recall one in which he explains a dashboard malfunction.

Inspect the front SAM for the presence of water.
Located on the driver's side near the scuttle.
The item has a lid and a detachable cover designed to divert water. However, the cover is just attached with clips and may get obstructed.
