I would advise caution; nevertheless, certain engines do not require extensive break-in periods, or at least not for prolonged durations. I cannot recall all the specifics, so please conduct some research on the topic.I understand that my engine (S55) requires the essential RIS, yet I have also heard that it is not imperative.

Indeed, I have had a similar issue previously with the holding clip detaching, necessitating an expenditure of at least £40 for lens replacement. It is advisable to warm the lens with a hairdryer to facilitate the flexibility of the plastic; attempting removal at low temperatures is ill-advised.

Consider whether, similar to my Sorento, it merely serves as a fuel usage indication.

Has the timing wheel on the rear of the crankshaft been compromised? It is positioned between the flywheel and crankshaft and features a coated surface that safeguards the segments read by the crank position sensor. On the B38 and B48 engines, the Autel diagnostic tool allows for reprogramming the interaction between the wheel and sensor. The diagnostic code indicates a misfire in cylinder number one, which may simply be due to a malfunctioning injector, as the live data readings are weak. The B series engines present significantly greater challenges for maintenance and repair.

Excessive contemplation over a W205/M274 coolant replacement
TDudette replied to BEERMAN's topic in General Discussions
A 2017 W205 is expected to utilise SI-OAT coolant (326.X), which has a four-year replacement interval for many Mercedes-Benz vehicles. It is typically pink or red. The 15-year coolant is 325.X and is typically blue-green. -
Indeed, BMW-specific scanners will diagnose the PDC for defects and identify the specific sensor position that is malfunctioning.

A single defective sensor prompts the entire system to revert to a fault status and deactivate. The tap has undoubtedly compromised the sensor, necessitating at least one repair, and potentially damaging the supporting bracket as well. A inspection is required when the bumper is removed.

The optimal approach is to operate it at a continuous speed of 40 mph or higher intermittently; this will allow it to reach optimal temperature, and you will see the regenerative effect when the exhaust sound changes somewhat.

Indeed, it is an excellent vehicle that consistently challenges me; it is a passion!

I adore my Mercedes, however it seems to resent me! Cleaned weekly and polished meticulously, I Installed a new LCD screen and replaced the tweeters with Focal units, installed Brembo discs and pads; nevertheless, the door mirror LEDs have ceased functioning. Invested half a day attempting to remove the mirror cover, only to discover that some individual had inserted a screw at the base of the case to secure it. Repaired LEDs and replaced the casing. I have changed the speaker grilles four times since acquiring the vehicle: twice on the driver's side and twice on the passenger side, which were damaged by the seat belt. Ordered and replaced broken door card clips, changed the intermittent alternator and battery, and replaced the alarm module that caused the battery to discharge weekly. Visited the supermarket last week; upon exiting, the vehicle failed to start. After few attempts to troubleshoot, I contacted the RAC and endured a five-hour wait. Identified the issue as originating from the transmission electronics box; procured a second-hand replacement which I installed, functioning for a few days before failing to start. I removed the center console once again and discovered that the circlip securing the selector to the gearbox, which I had reused, had fallen out. A replacement costs £15, and I can resume driving. However, on a drive today, I noticed that the door mirror LEDs had ceased functioning.

I excessively prioritize maintenance; I perform oil changes on my vehicle every 6,000 miles. However, I have recently adjusted this to every 11 months, approximately 35,500 miles. I have also serviced the gearbox and differential and addressed a differential leak. Additionally, the video he referenced indicates that the cooling system is identical to that of the M5 and M6.

It is the second video featuring M4 on a ramp.

The M4 included several components from the M5 cooling system of the F series. Here is an excellent video with a technician discussing the M4 upon its release from manufacturing; it is one of the most informative videos I have ever seen.

My M4 has cooling fans that remain operational after the engine is turned off, particularly when it has been in sport mode, since they immediately activate in that mode or sport +.Approximately 10 minutes, but more accurately 5 minutes; I have never seen any battery issues with the lithium batteries.

Possibly the brake light switch? However, I am uncertain, to be honest. -
It seems that there may be an issue in the strut tower region, maybe indicating a problem.

It is likely most convenient to wait in line for the starting exciter.

Audio files in MP3 format can be transferred to an SD card on your PC, which can thereafter be inserted into the SD card slot in COMAND. You can organise the MP3 files into folders. You will want either a PC equipped with an internal SD card reader or an external USB card reader. Upon inserting the SD card containing the MP3 songs into the COMAND device, you may either play the music directly from the SD card or transfer the MP3 files to the Music Register on the COMAND's internal HDD. The HDD in COMAND NTG4.5 possesses a total capacity of 100 GB, with 10 GB designated for the Music Register. However, be advised that transferring mp3 files from the SD card to the internal Music Register is a time-consuming process.
