I hypothesise that producing aftermarket seats is no longer financially viable due to the advanced seats and SRS systems found in current vehicles, which make it unfeasible to replace the original seats (except for track usage). Additionally, contemporary automobile seats are often of high quality when they are first manufactured. However, did they fail to get contracts for manufacturing car seats in a broad sense? It is possible that automobile makers now have a preference for sourcing seats from Chinese suppliers.

Utterly despondent. I have owned many Recaro seats, and they have consistently shown to be the superior choice. In addition, they provide kid safety seats. They once manufactured chairs for Airbus... Once again, filled with profound sorrow.

The error code P06A8 has been detected.
CheresX replied to Screwdriver_1's topic in General Discussions
The other codes you have successfully resolved may have been the crucial ones and served as the indicators you need. The sensor in issue is often linked to the automatic gearbox, transfer case or one of the differentials. P06a8 is often accompanied with a more precise sensor code. -
I mistakenly believed that the BOV and Diverter were identical. Upon further research, I have identified the component in question as a diverter valve. Adapter not available. Executing the smoke test seems to be rather straightforward. Is it considered unconventional to use a smoke bomb, such as the kind commonly available at 4th of July vendors, as a means of generating smoke? It seems to be a very simple method for producing smoke.

My 2009 R56 vehicle has had several modifications, with the most recent one resulting in a 2885 error number. I often use this website to look for solutions to problems, since there is no need to ask queries that have already been addressed. I am perplexed by the fact that when I switch off the vehicle and then start it again, the level of boost increases until it reaches 1.4 bar, but then decreases. Switch off the automobile, then resume it. The car will briefly reach a speed of 1.4, but then quickly decrease again. I recently replaced the blow off valve, but, it had no discernible impact. What is the next step for me? I purchased the automobile in its non-operational state. I have completed tasks such as replacing chains, coils, and plugs, as well as installing a BOV and addressing other minor issues.

I consider the HK sound systems in our vehicles to be satisfactory, but nothing more. Despite experimenting with the equaliser configuration, the results are still unsatisfactory. The November update notably enhanced the volume setting, however I did not see any other improvements.

Since you have purchased another vehicle and considering the current value of your E250, it may be prudent to contemplate selling it for parts or repair. I often contemplate my own thoughts in a similar manner.

I concur. I see that you have previously consulted with two "specialists". Based on my own observations, I have found that these individuals exhibit a variety of characteristics. Consequently, I have determined that it is most advantageous to do the task independently, if feasible. That is why I am inquiring about members' experience with scanners. We have already exceeded the car's value in our expenditures, as shown by my earlier blogs.

I had a similar notion, but, I discovered that the conversion kits are very costly, and transitioning also necessitates alterations to the electrical and electronic components. At now, I lack the necessary expertise to do this task, and entrusting the automobile to a professional would result in a substantial charge up to several thousand pounds, which exceeds the car's value.

I am experiencing difficulties with the rear suspension of my 2011 S212 E350 CDI, which has covered 90000 km. I believe that the suspension requires calibration after the cleaning of the pressure release valve. I am interested in purchasing a scanner that has the capability to do the above task, and ideally, other functions such as notifying the Engine Control Unit (ECU) when certain components are replaced. I am aware that the Youcanic scanner has the capability to calibrate the suspension. However, I am also considering Autel and Launch scanners. The issue I am facing is the lack of clear information on the capabilities and limitations of the scanners for motherboards like mine. Assistance in this matter would be much appreciated.

Do you have any new information to share? It would be intriguing to find out.

The W204 eco mode switch is non-functional.

I often see the suggestion that the air conditioning system must be reset after the addition of refrigerant. By what means? Is there an alternative to Carsoft? -

Under what circumstances, other than being in excellent condition, would the A/C button flash and then cease to do so? I am not detecting any problem codes from Carsoft, by the way. Thank you. -
The W204 eco mode switch is non-functional.
CheresX replied to CheresX's topic in General Discussions
Apologies, the query is not foolish; rather, it is my own lack of understanding that is at blame. I have discovered the method to do it, and when the engine is running and the air conditioning is on, the pressure increases to 13 bar. Is this favourable or unfavourable? It suggests that it is functional, but if that is the case, why did it fail to operate before (admittedly, I should have taken pressure measurements during the previous failure, but..) -

Simple inquiry, but what is the method? -

Today, I had to replace a wheel sensor, so I connected Carsoft to verify the specific wheel that needed to be changed. I had no issues save for the wheel signal, so I decided to test the air conditioning system, which functioned well, as did the ECO mode. It is rather perplexing! Regardless, I shall proceed with refilling the system. -

Thank you - I had never considered it before. I will replenish the system and thereafter evaluate the outcome. Excellent guidance! -
The vehicle in question is a 2011 diesel model with the code name W204. Two weeks ago, the eco mode in my device malfunctioned, so I replaced both batteries. After the replacement, the device functioned properly and without any issues. Unexpectedly, there is no response whatsoever when I activate the environmental button. The button fails to illuminate and the dashboard displays no information. Do you have any insights as to the cause of this occurrence? Thank you.

Greetings, Did you manage to rectify the issue with your Mini? I am encountering the same issue. Thank you.

Thank you.

The vehicle in question is powered by a diesel engine. Based on my assessment, it appears that the turbocharger may be experiencing a deficiency in its boosting capability.

The performance of my 2016 Kia Sportage 2.0 AWD K4, which has accumulated 80,000 miles, appears to be satisfactory and it exhibits sufficient power. However, in the past month, I have observed that it has been experiencing difficulty in towing an empty horse trailer and there is a noticeable lack of power when accelerating. Previously, it effortlessly ascended a steep incline while towing a double horse trailer without any problems. Now it is incapable of pulling an empty one. Are there any prevalent problems associated with diminished power?

I'm sorry, but I must express my disagreement with you on this matter. I have made several modifications to my R8, such as performing my own oil changes, upgrading the exhaust system (I experimented with multiple options and ultimately constructed my own using a Huracan Performante exhaust), replacing the brakes (including upgrading from steel rotors and callipers to ceramic ones), and even creating my own taillights. All of these tasks were accomplished by using the shop manuals offered by some members, as well as by seeking answers to queries they have responded to. In my opinion, this community is exceptional. Nevertheless, like other automobiles produced in low quantities, the availability of parts for the R8 is restricted.
