The described operation does not physically distort the disc, but it might result in the formation of a residue that leads to vibrations when the brakes are applied later on. These vibrations are often mistakenly attributed to a warped disc. -

Greetings, everyone. I am not enthusiastic about this engine. The functionality remains active even after the keys are removed. Does anybody know whether there is a method of averting it? Today, I was at the tip and inadvertently neglected to deactivate the motor using the designated button. I became aware of its continued operation only upon seeing the illumination of the lights. The model of the car is a 2019 520i. Thank you.

This is not the first occasion on which I have seen such behaviour from them. Last year, I examined a CL600 at that location (before the Superb version was released). It was priced at the higher range, but the photographs and description seems to justify the cost. Upon arrival, it was seen that the paint on the bonnet was broken and blistered, there were missing trim pieces, and the vehicle's history was incomplete. I see no use in proceeding and courteously refused. When I provided an explanation, they inquired as to why. In response, they promptly offered to reduce the price by £4,000 if that would pique my interest. That completely deterred me from them permanently.

Thank you for all the responses. The automobile has essentially remained inactive on the road for many years, but it was nevertheless started at least once every couple of months. Approximately a decade ago, the system was taken to a professional who conducted a thorough overhaul of the input system. This included performing a smoke test and replacing any seals, O rings, or gaskets that were deemed questionable. In addition, there were new leads and plugs installed. However, it is uncertain if the cap and arm were replaced. Thus far, the operation of the device has consistently been flawless upon the act of turning the key. The problem arises in cold weather, when the engine fails to start initially and stalls completely if you apply excessive power. However, after a period of 2-4 minutes, the issue resolves itself and the engine works smoothly. There are no issues with the idle; it remains precisely in the expected position. Perhaps it would be worthwhile to consider replacing the cap and rotor.

After investing significant effort on preparing my SEC for the MOT, it has unexpectedly started experiencing severe performance issues upon starting. The button initiates flawlessly and remains in a state of perfect idleness. Nevertheless, the engine fails to increase its revolutions and instead slows down, ultimately refusing to operate at full capacity. Once it has reached a higher temperature, the weather will become clear, but it is not optimal. After replacing the gasoline pump, filter, and lines, the vehicle initially functioned well. However, it has lately begun to have issues. Do you have any suggestions about the first place to search?

That is intriguing. I have no recollection of encountering any information about a valet key in relation to my own possession. I am curious whether it has the capability to save data such as service intervals or other related information extracted from the automobile. Thank you for these individuals. Typically, I have mostly used the 1 key, reserving the spare key just for instances when the vehicle is taken to a garage or similar location. Regarding this matter, if the spare key, which has not been used much, is scanned at a dealership, will it provide the same information as the primary key? I am inquiring about the specific data that is stored in the key.

To explore a cost-effective solution for replacement components, consider fully charging the battery and replacing the DPF pressure sensor with an authentic Mercedes device. It seems that I had similar symptoms, which did not involve the production of code that could be replicated. Occasionally, resetting the automobile by turning it off and on may resolve the error. It became more consistent. The problem seems to have been resolved with the installation of my new DPF pressure sensor.

I also purchased mine via Michel. I chose a H6/60ah battery and I am quite satisfied with my decision. The jump start capability provides a reassuring guarantee of never having to be concerned about my battery's power again. Additionally, there is the added benefit of weight reduction. 40 pounds is a substantial weight, and its impact on your back becomes apparent as you feel the strain of hauling it out of the frunk.

However, I just want to ensure that the price he is offering is not unrealistically low. I have a strong affinity for my S-Class vehicle, but it does not align with my own identity. Inspect the discs for any deviation from a perfectly round shape - displace the brake pads and rotate the discs. It is preferable to have a dial gauge, however if you are seeing significant vibration, it should be easily noticeable. Additionally, inspect the wheel bearings while you are doing the task. As previously mentioned, rust or debris may be present at the interface between the mounting face and the hub. Can you please verify once more? If you are certain that the discs are not the source of the problem, you may proceed to investigate other factors. The occurrence of the identical problem with two different sets of discs leads me to doubt that the actual component is the probable reason. I must admit that I have had a considerable number of automobiles, including more than 20 Mercedes-Benz vehicles. However, I have encountered problems with warped or out-of-specification discs just once, to the best of my recollection.

It seems that the battery was indeed the cause of the issue, since replacing it in the malfunctioning fob resolved the problem and everything returned to its regular state. Was the difference due to the use of a Duracell battery? -

UPDATE - I replaced the battery in the malfunctioning fob with another spare battery, and to my surprise, both fobs are now functioning properly. Thank you to all who took the time to react with their views.
